Saving Grace
A sunny Saturday morning turns into tragedy for Mike Ballard when his wife Annie, pregnant with their second child, is killed in a horrific accident. In the blink of an eye his life unravels and he spirals into darkness, blaming himself for their deaths in his struggle to cope with the loss.
Three days later as Mike sits alone at Annie’s grave, a stranger approaches and asks a tantalizing question: "Do you believe in miracles?" By far, my favorite novel by Fred Anderson. I was given the privilege of being an early reader, beta reader, I don't know the correct term, but Fred would shoot me a chapter at a time & I would give my thoughts & feedback. That said, I might be a bit biased in my review, however, I could tell in the first chapter that this was something different for him. The characters were delicately developed & their personalities were very interesting. As I told Fred, I've never been in real love, I guess, because I would never ever consider doing for a partner what Mike did for Annie. True love. It's creepy, gross, touching, & frightening at points. Two big thumbs up!

Oh Lord!
What a ride!!! My heart has been pounding overtime since I started reading!! So colorful and well written! I could feel the characters and see their sights as if I were there!!! Just gory enough without being ridiculous!! I will not delete this book from my kindle!!! Gotta visit it again in the future!! Still reeling from the end….

Not for the faint of heart...
What an absolute horror-ific book! This book definitely brings on alot of feels that's for sure. I was hooked from the beginning straight through til the end and that makes it a solid 5 stars in my opinion. I'm off to look for another book by Fred Anderson!
