Since Rorke Burningsoul, Wanderer of Weltyr, escaped the Nightlands, his life has been adventure without rest. Why should he be surprised, therefore, when the airship set to whisk him and his four lovely companions to Rhineland is boarded by the all-female pirate crew of the legendary ship, the Flying Rhinemaid? There’s no such thing as a cruise in the world of Urde—there’s only peril, and the will to overcome it. As the chaos in the air takes turns no one could expect and certain shattering truths come to light, Rorke must struggle to stay focused on the task of reclaiming the Ring of Roserpine…especially when he’s forced to confront the truth of what happened to him upon the airship.
But that is not the only truth he is forced to confront. Stranded, Rorke and two of his lovely companions must brave themselves for a series of encounters they never expected to endure: starting with the mysterious Deep-Children, who beg that Rorke return the sacred gold stolen from their mother's home. Normally, such a task would be his pleasure. But when the thief turns out to have been Weltyr, himself, well...
Regina Watts is an an absolute goddess of femdom fiction who loves writing torrid smut about the corruption of innocent girls and boys by wicked, more experienced young ladies and depraved older men--and if those dirty old men get what's coming to them at the hands of those same corrupted youths, even better. From kinky experimentation to twisted taboos, nothing is too extreme for Regina. Check her out on twitter @WritesWatts or follow Painted Blind Publishing's website for more information about her work, whether it's erotic fiction or transgressive literature.
*Author's Note: Pay no attention to my Goodreads genres I noticed they didn't include 'erotica' as a category and got a lil passive aggressive lmao
This has been a very enjoyable and entertaining story and series! A unique telling of old Norse legends!! I've really enjoyed the adventures this group has experienced throughout this world expanding series!
The second book was really good, what happened to this series? It seems like over half of the book is Rorke's internal monologues. Oh, I'm so worried I might not be doing the right thing! Oh noes, woe is me!! I think a small amout of internal monologue is ok, but it starts to get neurotic and tedious at some point.
Most of the book is as interesting as watching paint dry. It was so dull and cringy I skimmed through most of it. There weren't even any decent sex scenes (I only remember a couple of abreviated ones)...it's almost like the author lost interest herself because the solo scenes were too boring for her.
