This was book 5 in the
"Brutal Kings"
series. This was the last book in the Dario and Nikki love story. This book picks up where the last one left off with a few surprises in it and Dario learning the truth about his mother it seems he also has another brother. To keep her safe Nikki is locked in a torture room thinking that Dario is going to kill her. Nikki takes steps to protect her sister from her father when he tries to sell her. This was a good read with a lot of action in it Dario would do anything to protect those he loves. I loved when Dario confronted his father after Mateo told him about their mothers past. Nikki and Dario also get a surprise. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading about Andy and Mateo.

Perfect Ending to a Tortured Love Story
The growth of both main characters made me love this story even more. Mya Grey took a horrible man, and turned him into a beautiful love interest for Nikki Love. Dario may not have been as evil as his father and cousin, but he had that edge to him that Nikki tried not to love.
The action fits the story perfectly. People on the run, secret family members, and more secrets to hold your interest. I can't wait to read the complete story together again. It makes sense the way that Mya split it up so you wouldn't get shocked all at once.

Wow, wow wow what a finale!
As usual the talented Mya Grey took us on a journey filled with lots of steam, possessive alpha males and lots of action and this series did not disappoint!
The twist is revealed and another twist regarding Dario and Nikki’s pending future is thrown in with a mixture of angst, love and unbridled passion and a possessive alpha male who would move heaven and earth for his son Danielle and his woman- Nikki Love!
I loved the finale which was awaited with baited breath and now I can bask in the happiness of our much loved characters penned by such a talented author who never disappoints!
The cliffhanger was a taste of what to expect with the next series Dazzle- Andy and Mateo’s story and it cannot come soon enough!
This is all I can say about the final book without giving any spoilers, just know you will love it!

What a way to end this series!!! It was perfect! I have loved Dario and Nikki's storybright from the start and it just kept getting better with each book. I love how Mya wrote these characters and made me fall head over heals for Dario. Though he has a past he's not proud of, you can see the good in him, and that is what keeps you wanting more. The way he fights for the one's he loves and will fight against those who have crossed him, it's so damn 🔥.
The epilogue of this book was unexpected and fantastic! I can't wait to read Andy and Mateo's story and see where they make Mya take them!!
Seriously, this was a fantastic ending to an even more fantastic series. You won't be sorry you picked this up!

Desired, the final book in the Brutal Kings series, brings the story full circle in a way that is sweet, spicy and angsty. Dario is not a perfect man, but he's trying to be the best he can. Nikki loves him dearly but is still afraid of the secrets he hides and the part of his life she doesn't know. They want to be together but should they! I am so pleased with how this series played out and it's nice that everything turned out the way I hoped it would. Albeit dangerous, Dario is the man you want protecting you and your heart. Dani is what Dario must have been as a boy...sweet, kind with an understanding of his way of life. With all that they went through, this is exactly where I hoped they would be. I loved this book, and series, and am anxious to see what else Mya has in store for us!

a Really good read!
This read was so good, I read this story every chance I got throughout the day! This is the type of book I love to read; the stories that compels you to read as much as you can squeeze in. What did I love most about the series: each successive read got better and better. There were elements of everything I look for in a great read, there was humor, there were sizzling sex scenes and there was high drama with shootouts. Bonus is there is a well developed plot. I thoroughly enjoyed these books.

Nikki & Dario’s story reaches its conclusion. I’ve loved this dark, steamy series tracing the romance of the mafia ‘prince’ and the woman he bought. I enjoyed the additional revelations in this conclusion that are revealed about Dario’s family & loved the place that he and Nikki find themselves in, finally with their HEA and more happiness in sight. Great read, and a teasing ‘set-up’ at the end for the next set of stories about Mateo & Nikki’s friend, doctor Andy.

April 19, 2022OMG!!! What a love story. The books were short and sweet, but the books was packed with drama and action in each book. I loved Dario and Nikki's love story. I kept rooting for them to stay together during each book. There was love, drama, mischief, and everything else you can think of. I could not put the book down once I started and now looking forward to reading about Mateo and Andi's story.

This is such a wonderful ending to an awesome story. I loved the surprises you find in this installment. I love how much Dario protects those he loves and cares for. It was great the words Nikki had for her father, it was a long time coming. Dario really surprised me, I totally love this side of him. I was grabbed as soon as I picked it up and was not let down anywhere throughout.

Wow! I am delighted with this series! I am so happy that I stumbled upon author Mya Grey. I’ll definitely be reading more of her books. She has a good flow to her writing that keeps you reading for hours. She keeps you hanging, wondering what will happen next. Dario and Nikki’s chemistry was off the charts. Keeping you coming back for more. Bravo Mya!!

Dario is a strong man that believe in family ,even though his father was mad mad .he finally found out about his mother and a brother he never knew,was is brother now , Nikki’s carry in twins ,her sister was safe from being ,sold to who know or where 💯❤️📕👍🏽 I love this series . Excellent, I love that Nikki and Dario are happy and overcome the obstacles to be together. I'm also happy that Dario, Rauol and Matteo came to together so Matteo could explain his actions. I'm optimistic that can rebuild their relationship. But what a cliffhanger regarding Andy! Can't wait for b the book!!!!

What a wonderful ending as Dario and Nikki finally have overcome all the obstacles that were thrown at them and come out on the other side! They are finally happy and allowed to be together and safe! He’s trying to mend his relationship with the guys and hopefully they all get along! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Mya gave us one ride I won’t soon forget. Everyone found their rightful place and Dario and Nikki got their HEA. I’m definitely anticipating the next part of the Brutal Kings especially with that unexpected ending. Mya, you minx…how dare you?😉 You definitely need to check out the Brutal Kings series, it’s a action packed, steamy roller coaster.

Loved these books
I have read all five of these Brutal Kings books & loved the way the relationship between Dario & Niki Love progressed. The story just drew me in & I couldn't put the books down till I had completed them. In the fifth book I was surprised to find out the relationship between Dario & Mateo.

His woman is gone, but not far away, although the threat is still very real and Dario must go up against his family to save his woman and the lives of many others. Learning that a protentional traitor has been at his back for several years Dario comes close to ending a friendship and dancing in the dark again. Nikki finds she has enough darkness within to save herself from the evil men after her and fights the feelings she has for Dario, until she realizes she can't no longer. Many truths are reveled, bring this series to a happy ending.

Great story
Lots of action, and steamy sex. Of course you'll have had to been reading the whole series to know what all is happening. I loved the family dynamics. Two bastard brothers, and one True born son. Now will anything come from this? I loved Dario, and Nicki. They were made for each other.

I hated to see the last of Danio and Nikki but it ended in a good way.His father pays for his sins and Danio lives a clean life with Nikki's love and their twins plus his son.He finds out he has a brother who he already thinks has his brother so there is lots happiness all around. THANK YOU MYA!

Satisfying
The end was a satisfying conclusion to this bit of the series and the epilogue set up the next bit brilliantly. As much as I hate cliffhangers, it seems to be how this author works even from moving from moving from one couple to the next. This would have been my first 5 star of the year if it weren’t for that.

Bullets fly.
Nikki and Dario's action-packed, suspenseful, passionate love story explodes with more surprises and secrets. There are some sweet, smile worthy moments too. Just like the four books before this one in this series, it's a very quick read, only 82 pages. We get a glimpse of Andy in peril as a lead in to the next book.

Desired is what this series is! Any fan of Ms Grey should definitely read this new series of hers! Desire brings to an end the chaos, unanswered questions and wraps it up in a bada$$ ending. Must must must read!

This book was awesome tying up the relationship between Dario, Raoul and Mateo as well as the relationship between Dario and Nikki. We also find out what happens to Nikki’s younger sister Sophie. I loved the surprise at the end and can’t wait to read more about Nikki’s best friend Andy Carter.

Oh my word, this was an amazing series, but this last book blew my mind. What an amazing end to Dario and Nikkis happy ever after. A beautiful love story with suspense, twists and passion. Thank you Mya for this wonderful series, a true and gifted writer. I await the next new story. I was given this arc for an honest review. Job done.
