This book contains material some readers might find upsetting.

Hi, I'm Haley Tyler, a dark romance author from Texas!
I’m the one behind the gritty Salvatore Brotherhood MC series and the dark paranormal romance Calling on the Reaper. My stories are filled with characters you love to hate and plots that twist and turn when you least expect it.
I’ve been telling stories my whole life, but I officially became a published author in 2021 with my debut novel, Killing Calm (book 1 in the SBMC series!). Since then, I’ve been living and breathing my dark, twisted worlds.
When I’m not writing, you can catch me listening to Taylor Swift or heavy metal (because there’s no in-between), binge-watching the latest TV series, or diving into a good romance novel.
If you’re looking for your next dark romance obsession, you’ve found it. Welcome to my world!
This was like a good palate cleanser but I got bored about halfway through, and the fmc just acted so dumb throughout the book like it didn’t even make sense
You guys probably get tired of hearing how much I love Haley's writing, but seriously I LOVE HER WRITING! This book is top tier. Each book in this series just gets better and better and makes you fall in love with the Salvatore Brotherhood more and more. We all know Reid is my favorite, but Ryder has definitely wormed his way into my heart with Safe House! His character is dominant and possessive, yet loving and caring all wrapped into one. And Madi? She is the girl next door with a bit of sass and kicka**ness that will have you yelling "YOU GO GIRL" more than once during this book. The overall range of emotions this book made me feel was kinda crazy. I may or may not have wanted to throw my laptop and texted Haley yelling at her a few times during this book while a few moments later was gushing to her about how HOT the smut scenes were! Be prepared to laugh, scream, punch a few pillows, blush, shed a few tears, happy dance, and reach into your bedside drawer while reading this book. Daddy Ryder is one grumpy man who definitely has a way with words and I hope works his way into your heart as he did mine! Go add this book to your shelves now! You will NOT be disappointed!
Once again, so proud of you Haley! Such an amazing story that was full of details! How I wish these characters were real! I truly feel like I know them all at this point.
There was just this underlying annoying factor about the FMC that really grated my teeth. And when she goes around his back to go "save" this kid at 3am (smh rolling my eyes) I just wanted to fucking throw my kindle out the window. I just had to keep reading because my specific kink that I was reading this book for wasn't satisfied. So ... yeah
Dnf. I don’t mind an age gap but this is a terrible one. she was 15 when he started “lusting” after her. But was “good” and didn’t touch her until she was 18. Bro is like 35???? That’s literally a child??? Ick
It looks like I just found another author to follow after reading Safe House and I need to go back and read the other books in this series pronto. Ryder is the enforcer for the SBMC and Madi is a young, innocent, young woman now, that is not someone’s rug either. Growing up around the SBMC she has always had a crush on Ryder but he figured he was just too older for her. Fifteen years makes a difference…until it doesn’t.
Ryder wants nothing more than to protect this young beauty but now being alone together he is to the point of breaking and giving in to his wants. The man would lay down his life for Madi if need be. The connection these two had was undeniable which led to a steam like no others. For some this book does contain some triggers but if you like your books filled with drama, suspense and passion this is definitely the book for you.
After reading this book I can’t wait to go back and read the other books this author wrote and I look forward for more to come from her.
I love me some age gap friends to lovers romance books. Stayed for the daddy kink of course, but the female main character annoyed the everloving sh*t out of me at times. She was being kept safe in a house with the man she had loved all her life. But the minute they have an argument, she starts talking to a boy from her past with connections to a human trafficking organization and gives him the benefit of the doubt. Like how naïve can you possibly be? Ending was a bit rushed, but cute. 2.75 stars overall. Ryder can play daddy with me anyyy time.
tropes: virgin heroine, found family, age gap, friends to lovers, forced proximity, HEA, and MC romance
sometimes i just need a good smut with my favourite tropes and that’s exactly what this book is.
it was fast-paced, action-packed, and had those toe-curling steamy scenes that you think about for days after you finish reading. i do enjoy the older guy trope and this did not disappoint— their relationship felt very organic and i liked the sort of ‘backstory’ they had.
i did read this book as a standalone, so i can’t comment on any other works or characters from this universe— but from looking at this book alone, i thought it was solid! there are a few confusing moments in the plot where i was forgetting who was the enemy and WHY they were the enemy, and there were a few scenes that i felt did a little too much info dumping.
however, for the book as a whole, i really really enjoyed it! i was hooked from start to finish and read the entire thing in one day!
I have never read such a stupid heroine she has no common sense. She reaches out to the human trafficker for a date knowing she is on lock down in a safe house. What stupid girl. I kept thinking maybe she will die and the real heroine will show up but no somehow after all her stupidity they still save her and she gets an HEA.
This is Ryder and Madi’s story, age gap romance (15 years). He is the enforcer for the brotherhood (MC). This book is just as amazing as the others in this series, I don’t know how she does it every time but Ryder is another swoon worthy book boyfriend. You’ve got praise, a daddy kink, and the best spanking scene I have read to date with the perfect amount of dirty talk and the AFTERCARE was wonderful. I will say that Madi is a very naive FMC to the point that I was screaming at my kindle (witch just shows how invested in their story I was) but you do see her growth, she has these badass moments where you truly see how strong she really is. Loved this book can’t wait for the next
Book four in the Salvatore Brotherhood MC. As the enforcer for the Mc I volunteered to keep her safe. But who’s gonna keep her safe from me. 15 years older then her she’s a baby. Daughter to one of my brothers. He has been her best friend as long as she can remember. But one kiss change the game. He turn her down. But now her life is in danger it’s up to Ryder to keep her safe. This safe house they go to is more like a torture house. Every day looking at her and being able to touch her is killing him. Like every Salvatore Brotherhood brother they play hard and love harder. His ready to claim what’s his and he kill for her.
*sigh* I gave myself a few days to calm down after reading this book before I decided to enrapture my rage in a review. Firstly, I want to say that the premise of this book was very interesting and despite not reading the earlier books, I was able to follow along with the plot. That is where the compliments will end, however.
Now proceeds the spoilers and all of the issues I had with this book.
To start off, I don't have any problems with age gap books, there are several favorite books of mine with an age gap. My problem with this age gap in particular is the fact that the Male Lead, aka the love interest, talks about when she was sixteen. Sixteen is when he started to have sexual attraction towards her and talks about having to stay away. I can say that most people don't want to hear about an almost thirty year old (at the time I believe) lusting after a sixteen year old and then waiting to kiss her until she was eighteen.
While not inherently wrong or bad, it just leaves a really bad taste in the mouth. It would have been better for them to be really close growing up and him leaving for some three year long mission, before he recognizes and lusts after the changes of her body. Then bring him back and start the romantic change, otherwise he's just creepy.
Another massive problem I have is that the Male Lead actually was right in staying away because the Female Lead 'acts childish' and is 'too young'. The Female Lead is petulant, petty, and regularly makes stupidly childish choices, while trying to prove she is not in fact childish.
Receipt #1: "You'll tell me I'm too young-" "And you are. But I don't care anymore." "You're not going to change your mind?" "No, I won't change my mind." Then she makes him promise with a PINKY PROMISE. Which if that isn't an indicator about her thought process and naïveté then I don't know what is.
Receipt #2: After a somewhat uncomfortable romantic encounter between the Leads, the Female Lead, flees to her room to avoid conversation. While, I don't blame her, she follow it up with this: "There's a knock on my door, and I bring the blankets over my head, burying myself deeper under them."
That's right, she not only runs from a situation she partook and placed herself in, but then hides under the covers. Like it's going to help.
Receipt #3: "What's he going to think? He will be so fucking pissed, I know that. But will he forgive me? Will he understand that this is something I have to do? If Logan is lying to me, the worst that'll happen is that I'll learn not to trust everyone."
Now receipt #3 might just be the piece de resistance. So let me back up a bit before getting into why that is such a problem.
The Female Lead is taken into protective 'custody' by her biker gang's Enforcer. She's taken because her and her friend, hid bugs in Logan's house to get information about the TRAFFICKING RING he's WORKING IN. And Logan states that he 'want's her for himself' on the record.
Despite this evidence, however, when Logan reaches out via text the Female Lead answers. They flirt over text, as if she doesn't know that he wants her. She somehow believes that it is his father is responsible for the entire ring and that Logan somehow has nothing to do with it. Sure you can say that he is manipulating her heartstring or whatever, but she heard it straight from his mouth that he wants her. She also shouldn't have the IQ of a fruit. Anyone with some sense and the ability to put two-and-two together should understand that Logan's intentions are not good.
Yet in all of her flirting and phone calls with Logan (which does make her uncomfortable at some point), she still pursues him as a romantic interest while also choosing the Male Lead. Basically two timing them both and I don't like either of them or her. So you can imagine how much fun I'm having at this point.
So back to receipt #3. The Female Lead decides to sneak out her safe house to meet with Logan, to get 'his side of things.' And somehow she thinks the worst that can happen is her not having any trust in people. Yeah, right. The guy who works and selects girls in a sex trafficking ring, is totally going to be chill and romantic irl.
Lo and behold she gets kidnapped nearly assaulted and is surprised by it all. Which makes zero sense if she had any brain at all, but evidently doesn't get one until after the event occurs.
After getting herself kidnapped, she does manage to murder Logan and escape somewhat. Here's the thing though, she doesn't flinch once at the fact that she murdered him or about the fact that she bashes his head in REPEATEDLY with a dresser drawer. She is so chill about the whole thing and I'm just stunned that this girl- who runs away from confrontation multiple times, cries repeatedly when she get's herself into situations, and overall makes childish choices- killed someone.
It's a complete character switch from this point forward, and I can somehow tolerate her more. The decisions she makes after this point are not the same ones she would have made. Now you can argue that it was the trauma of the event, survival instincts whatever, but I would say you're wrong. Because there is no stated moment of change. No inkling in the Female Leads inner thoughts that switch to a survival mode, or more mature and rational way of thinking occurs.
She just becomes cool with murder, a pseudo mom, engaged, married, then an actual mom, and her entire previous character traits disappear. This is the sole reason I gave it one star at all. If I could give it a zero, I would have before the character switch.
Holy Brotherhood hotness…when I tell you I died, was resurrected, and then died again…you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. Ryder can get it any day of the week…did I want to throat punch him a time or two? Yes, but he knows what he did. Madi is super sweet and lovable but don’t get it twisted. She can take care of her own. She’s not the wilting flower you see in most MC books. 10/10 would recommend. You do have to read the other three first and they’re just as good. Trust me. You can thank me later.
This one is going to make the dirtiest of minds...blush. From the first page, it's fast moving, thrilling, super steamy and so easy to read because it seduces with words that turn into unforgettable mental images.
I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.
*First of all let’s ignore this book’s ugly ass cover.Excuse me but I had to say it.*
⭐️⭐️
I don’t have much to say. This book is boring, its plot is boring with a daddy kink that in my opinion went horribly wrong and the h is awfully dumb and annoying.
𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬: Madison and Ryder
𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧: She’s an annoying brat. She’s been having this huge crush on Ryder since she was a teenager.
This book starts off with her turning eighteen and Ryder finally kissing her.(He’s 15 years older than her so he tried to ignore the crush she had on him)After the kiss Ryder tells her that they can’t kiss again since it’s inappropriate and he pushes her away. Then two years later after not talking much they have to stay in a safe house together since Madison is in danger.
At first I liked her because I understood her having crush on a hot older man who makes her feel protected. But then she started acting like a stupid child. The reason she’s in danger it’s because a human trafficker (that she has been talking to-idk I think they were friends before that) says that he wants her.Meaning he wants to keep her for himself and use her body.He and his father have an entire human trafficking organization and everyone in this book is trying to fight against them. What does Madison do?The human trafficker that wants her contacts her and starts flirting with her and being sweet with her.Of course she loves the attention and falls for his charms ignoring the fact that HE IS THE ENEMY AND SHE’S LITERALLY HIDING IN A SAFE HOUSE TO STAY AWAY FROM HIM.Then he asks her to meet with him, wanting to explain that he is out of that “business” and doesn’t want to be part of it anymore. When all of this happens Ryder is still avoiding her.But then he finally gives in his feelings for her and they get into a relationship. As they are together Madison obviously feels guilty because she’s going to meet with the human trafficker knowing that Ryder will be so mad at her for this and that it probably ruin their entire relationship.Anyway Ryder finds out she’s been talking with the enemy the day before she was going to meet him and after a heated argument and explaining the danger she’d put herself in he thought that she wouldn’t go but instead she fucking goes. And of course she gets fucking kidnapped.
After that there’s so much drama following and I was so bored that I skipped a lot of pages. And not only that but after Ryder finally gets her back he doesn’t even scowl her for the stunt she pulled or being even a little mad at her.Nothing.He even blames himself for her meeting up with that guy and getting kidnapped while it was obviously HER OWN STUPIDITY THAT LEAD HER THERE.
Sooo back to Madison.Yeah I really don’t like her.Not for all of that that she did but because her character is just so shallow. She’s nothing interesting. She’s just the girl who has a big crush on a man 15 years older than her. She’s also so bloody immature. When Ryder was trying to avoid her and any feelings between them because of their age difference she would straight ignore him and act like he doesn’t exist.Like he would ask her what she would like to eat or something and she wouldn’t even answer him. She’s…I don’t like her she’s awful.
𝐑𝐲𝐝𝐞𝐫: He’s okay.I like how protective he is over Madison especially at the beginning of the book.He really cares about her and the fact that he stayed away from her-despite having feelings for her-because he wanted her to live her life with people at her age it’s admirable and I respect him for that.Asides that there’s not much to say about him. He’s nice and would do anything for Madison. Also at the end when they adopted Isabella he was so sweet towards her!I loved that.
𝐃𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐲 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠: The only reason I read this book was because of the daddy kink and damn it disappointed.I mean at first it was okay but it kept getting worse.Ryder would call himself Daddy all the time while Madison called him Daddy only a couple of times. It was weird honestly.
𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞: •Ryder says that Madison has always been his best friend and that they grew up together and Madison feels the same way, that Ryder is her best friend. How on earth did they grow up together??He was literally fifteen while she was a newborn. He was thirty when she was fifteen. It makes no sense this whole “we’ve always been best friends” thing. And honestly it’s weird. Why a thirty year old would be best friends with a teenager??
• *Needles to say that the first I love you’s were absolutely horrible* After they say I love you Ryder tells her that she loves her many times but she never says it back.Like you’re the one who’s been obsessed with him for all of your life and now you just don’t say that you love him too??
This book is part of a series and it’s the fourth book.I haven’t read the other books so I barely understood what was going on between the side characters. There were a lot plot gaps but that’s on me for not reading all of the previous books.
Overall this book is not very interesting. The only things that I liked were the whole age gap romance thing and a little bit of the smut-Daddy kink.

This entire review will have spoilers. Let me start this review off by saying yes I know this is fiction, but I have never been more angry and irritated by a person/story in my life. I think Madi might be the single stupidest character in the entire world. The story starts off with the MC and FMC leaving their club (MC club) to go to a safe house because Madi and other girls are being targeted by sex traffickers. Madi is in love with Ryder (15 years her senior) the member assigned to her for her protection and so she's excited/nervous to spend time with him. When they get there, they kiss and he tells her they can't be together because she's too young. She then proceeds to give him the silent treatment because she's so mature, until he finally gives in and just has to have her. While all of this is going on, Madi is talking to Logan, the son of the sex trafficking ring and someone she knows said wanted to "buy her." He keeps trying to convince her to meet up with him so that she can help him escape his father so he doesn't have to be a trafficker anymore and like the idiot that she is she meets up with him (even after Ryder told her he was lying). Surprise Surprise he kidnaps her and tries to r*pe her (she's really shocked by this) and she manages to get lucky and kill him. Then the author introduces the other girls who have been trafficked and Madi refuses to listen to the people who are coming to save her and gets kidnapped again. Then the MC shows up again to save her and she gets dragged away again only for Ryder to swoop in and save her after getting shot twice. When Ryder asks her to run and hide so that he can help the other people she has a full argument with him (in the middle of a fight) even after she just learned the consequences of not listening to him. She kept making the most idiotic decisions and then Ryder tells her she's not an idiot she's just sweet. Um no... she is an idiot and honestly so is he. For a 35 year old, he was just as bad as she was at 20. Their relationship was cringey (and not because of the age difference) and the sex scenes were just as bad. Madi goes down as the single stupidest and most irritating character I've ever read. The book actually would've been more interesting if they had killed her off and brought in someone else. I should have DNFd a lot sooner but there were some good reviews and booktok convinced me it was a good book so I kept trying to stick it out hoping it would get better. I will not be reading anything else by this author even though some of her side characters seemed interesting.
edit: I totally forgot, Madi is now responsible for a child that was with the traffickers after the girls mom was killed. Considering Madi almost got herself killed and was kidnapped what felt like a million times, I hope that child gets far away from her.

This book was a ride! There is delicious tension, intrigue, violence, and suspense. I really enjoyed the aspect that Ryder and Madi were friends first. He didn't have the greatest childhood and so she had become his best friend when they met. Then she turned the tables on him and wanted him as more than a friend. I like how he struggles with himself because of their age gap, and she could care less and does her best to get him riled up for her. When the thing he is trying to protect her from comes to call, I love how he kept his promise and will do anything to get and keep her safe.
Madi is 20 when this takes place. She definitely is well written as someone that is that young with the decisions she makes. She wants to see the best in people so that puts her in precarious positions. What she doesn't have any hesitation about is Ryder. She loves him and wants to be with only him and tries to get him to see it time after time, but after one rejection too many she decides to give up. Then Ryder lets her know that if she disobeys him one more time, he will spank her. When he makes good on that threat, it changes the course of their relationship. Will she be able to help everyone out that she wants to or will it end in more than tears?
Ryder is 15 years older than his best friend and decides that he cannot pursue anything with her. Then a threat comes knocking and he has to bring her to a safe house and watch over her. Just the two of them. She pushes his resolve with her outfits and attitude. Enough becomes enough and after she disobeys him a second time, he punishes her. Shortly after chaos ensues and he must now chase her down or risk losing her forever. Will he be able to tell her how he feels before it is too late?.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really enjoy this series by Hayley Tyler but for some reason this couple fell a little short for me. Madi did really come off a naïve and childish in the beginning of the book which made it really hard for me to like her at first. The back and forth between her and Ryder was a but lackluster in the beginning too. I wasn't quite sure about them as a couple or their chemistry because we only really read about her unrequited feelings and didn't get many chapters from his perspective. I would've love to see his internal struggle just as much as the book focused on her. She did grow on me as the book progressed especially once Logan entered the game again.
Ry and Madi's moments together were sweet layered with an intense spiciness to them that just made you sweat a bit even though they ended up being super PG when it was all said and done. Oh Ryder... I was not prepared for his dominant side to come out in those moments. I knew he was an alpha but whew some of those scenes were intense. Ultimately we got to really see Ry's pure and total adoration and love for her even before all that happened once they reunited. Even after the action packed portion of the book, I really loved how it felt like we got an extended epilogue where were got to see their relationship develop even further and go beyond the obvious drama in the book that centered around Logan and the trafficking ring. I feel like that ending also opened up the potential for more books from this world or hopefully (fingers crossed) a crossover storyline with the Demons. I wonder who will be next from these characters to get their own HEA!
Safe House is the 4th book in the Salvatore Brotherhood MC series by Haley Tyler.
This dark romance story ticks off some of my fave tropes, including age gap, MC, friends to lovers. In typical Haley fashion, this is a fast paced, intense and spicy story!
Madi is the sweetheart of the SBMC. The daughter of an old timer who grew up protected and somewhat sheltered, Madi has been in love with Ryder for as long as she can remember. But after a starlit kiss on her 18th birthday, Ryder distanced himself almost completely.
Ryder is the enforcer of the SBMC, and also a dream D A D D Y 🥵 He is dominant, determined and the perfect amount of possessive. The 15 year age gap is something that Ryder has struggled with, making him fight his feelings for Madi, but when he decides the give himself to Madi, boy oh boy is he a giver. The mouth on this man... *swoon*, the spicy scenes are great, but the way he cares for her after? The praise? 10 stars.
When Madi's safety is threatened, Ryder is determined to keep her safe at all costs and stops at nothing to get Madi back.
This has been a perfect addition to the SBMC series. While I loved watching Ryder and Madi fall in love, I thought the progression of the background story was really great.
The introduction of new characters is exciting for further stories in the future!
Now, bring on a story for my baby, Kiwi 🥝!
Check your triggers as there is mention of impact play/spanking, Daddy kink, kidnapping, human trafficking, sexual assault, death of a parent, torture, swearing, explicit sexual content, violence, gore.

🖤Motorcycle Club 🖤book 4 in series can be read as standalone- (but I suggest reading previous books in series to fully understand the dynamics between side characters and overall plot) 🖤Age Gap 🖤Forced proximity 🖤friends-strangers-lovers 🖤⚠️TW⚠️
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR RYDER.. and I was not disappointed. Safe House was everything I was hoping for and more.
Madi waited until her 18th birthday to finally show Ryder how much she cares for him. They share a kiss.. and it’s everything Madi has been waiting for. Ryder quickly ruins it when he tells her he’s too old for her and it can’t happen again. Madi is crushed, embarrassed and quite frankly over it.
Ryder and Madis relationship changed after the incident. Madi can hardly be in the same room as Ryder.. but it all blows up when Madis life is in danger. Ryder is tasked to protect her.. at a secluded safe house. Ryder is finally forced to show Madi how much she means to him.. and the spice *whew* so good.
Safe House was an epic emotional rollercoaster I did NOT want to end. This book was everything I was hoping for and more. The action, drama, and spice had me fully invested. I was sucked in from the first page.. and felt so many emotions while reading. Anger, sadness, exhilaration.. you name it I felt it.
Haley Tyler continually surprises me. Let me stress this again- her fictional men are top notch and everyone should experience them. they just keep getting better! Daddy Ryder.. my goodness. He was everything and MORE.
‘‘ I love you sugar. I love you so fucking much. But when I get up, you need to run. I need you to leave me here’’
Safe House is the fourth instalment in the Salvatore Brotherhood MC series and follows the story of Ryder & Madi.
As always, please check the trigger warning before diving in as there is mention of age gap, forced proximity, violence, daddy kink, spanking and human trafficking.
Madi is the daughter of old timer Pop and grew up the apple of clubs eye.
Ry is the badass enforcer of the club and is an absolute babe. He is strong, sweet, protective and possessive. He has reservations about starting anything with Madi due to the difference in their age, but, when they are forced to be together in the safe house, he quickly realises that he can’t keep fighting it and needs to make her his.
I love Ry & Madi’s story. They’ve known each other for as long as they can remember and, despite the 15 year age gap, are so in love with each other. They’re best friends and would go to the ends of the earth for each other. Their chemistry is insane and their steamy encounters are hottttt🥵🥵🥵
If you haven’t read the SBMC series yet, you absolutely need to! I will never stop recommending it because I just love it so so much.
Haley as always, I’m just so proud of you for continuing to write books that we all love and for achieving all of your goals!!! It’s an absolute honour being on your beta & street team and I can’t wait for your upcoming releases 🖤🖤
Mixed feelings. I could do without A LOT of stuff this book put me through. And I hate to say it but Heather was right, I won’t ever doubt that woman again. And I’m going to ignore the whole age gap thing, she’s in her mid 20s in my mind (at least). He was 15 when she was born…and he was in his thirties when she was a teenager and started “noticing her”. I- no word really. At least she’s an adult now, right? (This is me trying to convince myself so I don’t become physically ill) As I said I’m IGNORING IT, mainly because this is fictional. But other than that I loved their dynamic, they we really something else. Isabella just made it so much better, but the means of getting where they ended up was so sad
“I can give you all of me, though. I can give you every ounce of love I have and then squeeze out some more. I can give you my life, and my soul, and my heart. I can give you a happy life. A safe life. A life you'll hopefully love." "Ry," I rasp. "I love it." "I promise to get you a better ring one day," he says as he grabs my hand. "I'll give you the ring you deserve one day." "As long as I have your last name, you've given me everything I could ever want," I say. He falters as he slides the ring on my finger. Slowly, he looks up at me. "You mean that?" "Yeah," I murmur. "You're all I'll ever want and need. This ring is perfect. I would've said yes if you proposed with a ziptie you twisted into a ring." He laughs as he shakes his head, then presses his lips to mine.”
Book four. Again please read the trigger warnings this one is hard. Human trafficking. Forced treatment & strong violence. Gun/knife crime. This book carry’s on where everyone for their safety have to leave and go into safe houses/ or places of safety. Madi and Ryder. What a bit of a weird one. She grew up around him. He was her mentor & friend & more so her dads friend. She crushes on him and they both fall HARD! 15 year age gap. These books are so well written that you get to really understand and feel the characters & their feelings for their partners. But what frustrates me is the fact that madi knows who she’s dealing with she knows these people are disgusting & have no morales or compassion. They sex traffic women and children. She falls for the lies of the traffickers son & he tricks her to come for a date & that he wants out when all he wants is her & to sell her he’s obsessed with her. In her immature naivety she falls for it and ends up being taken away & she broke the trust of Ryder & the club & put her self in danger. But he would chase her to the ends of the earth for her to keep her safe and save her. He loves her with his whole being & you really feel that. Haley’s writing on these book are amazing I love these books

From the moment this book was announced i started looking forward to it right away! I've been wanting to get back into the Salvatore Brotherhood MC world and was so glad that i got to with this fourth installment! I picked it up and got into this story quickly. I so enjoyed this fourth installment!
Madi and Ryder's journey pulled me in right from the get go! As these two are stuck together in the safe house, i couldn't wait to see how everything would play out for them!
I really liked getting to see these two tackle not only their feelings, but things thrown their way as well. I really enjoyed the way Madi and Ryder had me feeling all kinds of things throughout with them! The chemistry between these two was undeniable and so great! I wasn't sure what all to expect in this installment and that got me into it even more.
With Safe House, Ms.Tyler has created such a good and dark read with steam that you won't want to turn away from! I am so looking forward to more from her!
Be sure to check the author's trigger warning in the book description.

Book 4 in the Salvatore Brotherhood MC - an interesting and intriguing addition to the series that does cover a lot of dark/tough topics. I've recently started reading dark, MC, and daddy romances, and I really enjoyed this one. Madi has always been off-limits for him since she's 15 years younger than him, but he's fighting the friendship he needs to keep with her to protect her. But forced proximity in a safe house is making it a lot harder to avoid and ignore. She wants to prove him wrong that she's too young. She gets herself in a bad situation with a human trafficker/the MCs biggest enemy, but she knows Ryder will find her. Will Ryder get to her in time? Will he finally admit she may be right? Will they get their HEA? Really enjoyed this dark romance. A page-turner that draws you in right from the start and holds your interest throughout. I didn't want to put it down. If you're looking for a dark, motorcycle club, daddy romance, it has everything you could want in it and so much more. Highly recommend, but definitely make sure to check possible trigger warnings.

This has got to be my favorite SBMC book! The chemistry between the two main characters, the continuation of the story, the way the characters old and new make you feel like you’ve known them for forever. Haley really outdid herself with this one! Ryder is 15 years older than Madi, but the two of them have been best friends since Madi could walk and talk! (The perfect combination of Age-Gap and Friends to Lovers.) These two have so much chemistry and history it would only make sense that they belong together. Ryder takes Madi to a Safe House cause the threats of Logan still hang over her. Which means Ry and Madi are forced into the same living space for an extended period of time, which means the chemistry between them spikes, which means the barriers that Ry has put up to keep Madi at arms length, crumble. But when Madi puts her trust in the wrong person and is taken, Ryder has to remain calm and save her. Oh and did I mention that while at the Safe House, she catches him… self-caring, saying her name and referring to himself as daddy… and he knows she’s watching. (Smirking devil emoji)
This is the 4th book in the Salvatore Brotherhood MC series and I believe this one is my favorite so far. Maybe because I know so much about these characters now, but also because this one wrapped a lot of the storylines that have arched over the series.
This installment has the story of Ryder and Madi. Ryder has had feelings for Madi for a long time but he has always considered her too young. He's made the mistake of getting too close a couple of times so now Madi feels like he's just playing with her. She's loved Ryder for so long, she doesn't know how to not love him. She feels like if he would just give them a chance, they could be great together but he's always putting up walls.
There's a lot of action and drama in this one, but it moves quickly and you will not regret reading this book. There were times I laughed, times I growled in frustration, *blushed* a lot and a couple of times I cheered!
I don't even know where to begin! The book starts of fast and doesn't stop. Madi and Ryder have known each other for years and even though he is 15 years older than her, they always had a special connection that Ryder tried to resist.
This book is nonstop. There is angst, there is darkness, there is love, laughs and plenty if steam! I couldn’t put it down! While it is a standalone, it's an interconnected series and best read in order,
Please heed the author’s trigger warnings. This is not a fluffy MC Book that only refers to difficult subjects. It delves into them with both feet. If you choose to read it after knowing about the sensitive subject matter, please do not penalize the author over it.

I like this series, and I liked this book- but it was off the rails most of time. The stuff with Logan was a mess. Madi has wanted Ryder for YEARS- she’s not risking it to “help” Logan… ridiculous. Also, Ryder knew she was planning to meet him and was sleeping? Yeah… no. Isabella was such an unneeded and insane story line- it was like 2 different stories at that point. They were saying they were adopting her before getting on the same page about moving in together and having a committed relationship? I couldn’t have been more confused. Lastly… why is Ryder broke, but none of the other brothers have had that issue? They all do the same thing! Their financial situation should be exactly the same. That was another plot hole. I have enjoyed every book and the characters- but it’s getting hard to keep over looking the issues in each book.
I quickly fell in love with Ryder and Madi as their relationship grew in this story. The age gap is what concerns Ryder because he thinks that Madi can do better than him so he puts up barriers when she’s around him. But when it comes to protecting Madi, Ryder will do everything in his power to keep her safe even if it means putting his life in danger. Madi’s sweetness and innocence is so pure as she sees the good in people even if their evil. I enjoy reading more about the club and the troubles that keep following them. The build up and suspense really kept me focused on the characters and I love that the heroine’s in this club don’t back down without a fight when they’re in trouble.
