I read the first book in this series for the first time several years ago and really liked it. I had planned to read the remaining books but got sidetracked and did not get to them for quite a while. This however was the time for this book and it hit just the right cord for this place in time. I liked the characters from the first book and found myself liking all the subsequent characters as they seemed to be just as well portrayed as the first ones. The story was told from the point of view of each as they came into the story so you always were aware of how they felt in relation to the situation. The stories also took us around the country to several states and cities both big and small and it showed the ties that bind a family no matter how far-flung they become.
These were very quick and enjoyable reads that caught my attention from the first page. I found the characters to be interesting and able to elicit emotion for their plight even while making things very hot. The way they interacted with each other was perfect for what was going on in their world, though there could have been more conflict between the couples as they came together. Once I started I had a hard time putting it down because I wanted to find out how wrapped up in the end.
Anger, greed, and lust, all lure them to the evil potential of their magick.
The Scott family has lived under a curse/prophesy for centuries which tells of the destruction of the entire family. Two sets of twins each holding a magick that could corrupt and kill them all can never stay together for an extended period of time. It is said that a woman will be their eventual downfall and every man is wary of any new woman coming into their life.

Graelen Scott is rich, handsome, and a witch, he hides in his house wondering if he will ever be able to save himself and his brothers from the prophecy. Every day he fights the pull of the dark magick within him and he can feel himself weakening. Rena Gallagher is a researcher and historian at the Museum of Art History in San Diego, she also happens to be an empath. Noah Scott is a demon hunter who has seen and done it all, that is until his twin sends him to rescue a woman he has been trying to forget. Noah is hellbent on ridding the world of evil, one demon at a time. He walked away from the family prophecy because he did not want to believe in it. But the one woman who had tempted him left him without a trace. Jessie has spent her whole life hiding her dark secret. When she met Noah she knew he would be different and they connected with a burning passion they did not understand. Now they have been brought back together and must face both their past and a future that would have them save his family while fighting a desire that is trying to consume them.
I found book three to be the most erotic and the hottest because of the MMF element, though all of them are very hot with some seriously explicit scenes. I also felt that after all the buildup through the four books about this major confrontation that was going to happen it turned out to be pretty anticlimactic in the end. Even though this is a paranormal romance the serious showdown should have been handled better and with a lot more involvement than just a couple of pages in the last chapter.
I listened as well as read because I wanted to be able to keep going wherever I was. The narrator, Johanna Fairview good at giving voice to the characters Though she sometimes came off as just sounding like she was going for sultry in the first book her performance became better and better as she worked through the series. I will say she added to the enjoyment of the stories as I drove home from work. Well worth the time to listen and read.

Untamed Magick (Pentacles of Magick, #1)
This is a very interesting story and loads of yummy steam. There is insta-lust that has connected feelings. I do not hate that aspect, it is just something you have to accept in this series.
The background story is spaced out in the book. It takes a bit to really get the gist of what is happening with the magic and the world that is being created. I expect more will be revealed as the series continues. With four brothers, two sets of twins, I am thinking things will be very connected.
Graelen is very dark and delicious!! He is a serious Alpha guy, oh good lordy! Rena really does not stand a chance against all that power and sex appeal. They are a great pairing, once they get past the distrust.
The steam is uber hot!! There are some very interesting moments here, a bit of a psychic menage, totally hot!!! There is also some BDSM type play, not serious protocols, but definitely tied down with ropes! For a short read there is a real smexy punch!
The book is mostly from the two leads POV, giving you great insights into their characters. There is also a brief moment of the bad guy's perspective. It is a great way to make the read more engaging.
Magick Ignited (Pentacles of Magick, #2)
Another smoldering hot read, not just because she is a fire-starter!! This open is just as quick with the smexy lusty action as the first book. I am forgiving, because I understand the insta-connection the author is trying to establish. I generally like more build, but with the length of the story, I see the need for getting to the steam right away.
Cash is delicious and tortured. Those are the sort of Alpha men you just cannot wait to see fall for the right lady. Selene is his perfect match. She may play the tough girl but she goes all soft and squishy for her man. I love their banter, makes me wish there could have been more time spent in that stage of the relationship.
This book is a mixed narrative, giving the two leads POV and a couple bonus supporting character's perspective as well. It helps you get to the heart of the matter and draws you more into the story. I prefer this style because it enhances the world building and lets you know the leads on a more personal level. I adore getting into their heads and seeing both sides of the romance.
Force of Magick (Pentacles of Magick, #3)
Oh yeah, this is an uber smexy read!! The third book in the series is all about the steam!!! It does continue the on going story line, but mostly is is about the smexy time!!
The narrative is mixed between the three leads and of course the bad guy. The is also a whisper more with a couple other supporting character's POV. It really helps keep the events of the series moving. Denn is yummy, Jake is a dream boat and Raven is surprisingly sweet. They make a great triad, if they can get past the distrust and past indiscretions.
The smexy time takes up a good chunk of this book. You get plenty of variety with MM, MF and finally MMF. Oh yeah, this one is sure to stoke the fires of many a reader!!! Holy hot and heavy!
Magick Provoked (Pentacles of Magick, #4)
Sigh, the end of a series is always bittersweet. I was really loving the stories for the smexy twins. I could have used a but more in the resolution of the major plot, but it was great in the romance.
I love yummy alpha types like Noah. He is all boss and Dom voice. Jesse really does not stand a chance. They have such awesome chemistry and the history makes the feeling believable.
I was a bit disappointed in the end of the plot with the uncle, I just wanted more. There was so much build during the series, then it just kind of ends in ten minutes. I would love o see this book expanded, giving us more of the voodoo priestess and coven. I feel like there is so much story there that could be told.
The narrative is a great mix of the leads and the bad gut. Mostly you get Noah and Jesse's POV, which gives you insight into their true feelings. There are many more layers at play here because they were together before and the issues with her demon half being secret.
The steam is delicious. This series has rode the edge of BDSM, there are elements of Dominance and submission, without the scenes and protocols. Really hot and smexy lovin in this book. Oh yeah, Noah is definitely the roughest brother in the bedroom. Leaves me fanning my face.

With all the combustible relationships and quick love, I missed some of the natural build. Some of the couples had great banter, it was sadly cut short. The BDSM elements could be enhanced as well. This is all nit picking, at the end of the day I was entertained.

I enjoyed this series of novellas. Each one had it's own unique story line (including multiple steamy sex scenes). The four novellas kept me interested and engaged the whole time I read. Each of the novellas could probably be read as a standalone, but I'd highly recommend reading them together as each has a tiny taste of what's coming in the next book near the end. While every couple and triad found their HEA, they had the dark shadow of their uncle and the family curse hanging over their heads until the end of the fourth book, where all of the brothers and their mates are finally, truly free. Overall, this was an enjoyable, sexy read that leaves me definitely interested in reading more of Eliza Gayle's books.

Untamed magic the first story is a great unique story. It has it all going on, action, romance, dark magic, hunky brothers and steamy sex scenes. And I mean steamy the author puts a warning of psychic voyeurism on this book and it is deserved. Lets just say they hunky brother makes a cameo appearance. Now you will just have to read it to see what that means. ;-)
I liked the other stories as well. The only surprise was when I started the third novella. Each brother is looking for the one women who is going to balance his power and love him. When we get to the third book Denn allready has a male lover Jake! Not that it bothered me it was just a surprise.
All in all, well written paranormal erotica.

This has been an exciting series to me. Two sets of male twin witches born with a curse on them. Not understanding the complexities of the curse until the first empath finds the eldest and she helps them figure it out. Each book in the series is about a brother coming to his own realizations was interesting. Each had to learn to trust someone else outside of their family and themselves. All had to come together for the greater good of each other. Each empath had to be strong within themselves to deal with these witches. It ended well for me with a pile of dust and Noah finally coming to his senses. Enjoy I did.

I am writing this before I even finish the last book in the bundle, just because I have to say how much I liked the 3 previous ones. The stories are short so it's worth it to buy the bundle and not each individual book.
Each story so far is hot and each brother has his own personality so its not like reading the same story over and over. Now I have to get back to the book :)

I was so into this series, I had to read it from start to finish. A "can't put it down" series. This series has some excellent paranormals, hot sex & tons of adventure. The author has never disappointed me with any of her work. I look forward to other readers enjoying this as much as I did.

Bad from the beginning. Has potential, but for the price it was very disappointing. Lots of erotic scenes per book, but they didn't interest me. There was too much emotional investment into them with out the support or build up to keep them real.

That was a really good series! The only thing that disappointed me a little bit was there wasnt any information that let you know what happened to everyone and if the family curse was taken care of.

It has a good story line, but by making it into 4 short stories, we miss a lot of information. This would have been better if it was just one longer novel. The sex scenes are great though!
