Dirty Games is the first book in the Florida Devils series. When Vivi took her dream job as a production assistant she knew that things were going to change. She needed a place to stay in a new city and it was a fresh start for her live-in boyfriend. Now as she stands at the airport with no boyfriend and the thoughts of moving to a strange city how could things get any worse? She puts on her big girl pants and moves forward. She is set to stay with her ex's uncle at his home and it may be awkward, but she will make the best until she is on her feet.
Zayn is a professional football player that has never been close with family, he was the outcast of the family and when his estranged nephew asks to stay with him for a few weeks he knows this might be the time to connect with the family he never really knew.
Now we have the intelligent, independent, sassy but sweet Vivi living with the big burly footballer. She will stay out of his way but soon it isn't so easy as the friendship begins to take root with them.
Zayn has never lived with a woman, and he can't believe how easy Vivi make it. He wants to protect her, help her and just be her friend but soon the lines get blurred and his spot on the team becomes jeopardized. They also just had an unexpected guest on their doorstep, Vivi's ex and Zayn's estranged nephew. Well, this got complicated quick! I can't wait to see where this story goes!

This was my first time reading a book by the author. I came across their tiktoks and thought I would give it a try.
The book itself was ok. it was well edited and the writing was ok. My struggle comes in with the story development. It had a few pacing issues. The story felt flat and lacked creativity.
I really wanted to see more of the hero Zayn fighting his attraction to the heroine. I love the idea of this story the idea that Zayn is forbidden from dating by his team due to some past issues. Vivi being the Ex-girlfriend of his nephew adds another layer but at the end of the day it wasn't enough to carry the story.

OMG I devoured this book in less then 2 hours!!! Zayn and Vivi meet under some unusual circumstances to say the least. Their relationship starts as friends and builds. It's a fast build but so enjoyable!
Vivi is a strong woman ready to start her new career. Zayn is a hot loveable football player trying to stay under the radar because of events out of his control. They're not supposed to fall for one another but they can't help it. I don't want to give away to much.
Michelle A. Valentine always gives a great story and this time is no different. She is giving us new characters to fall in love and root for. I can't wait for book two of Vivi and Zayn's

Fun story, very quick read. Instalove and age gap are involved. Not a lot of plot, he can't date, she was just dumped, they end up being roommates. It's not completely fade to black but it is on the tame side.

Fabulously HOT and unputdownable!!!!
I absolutely love a story with a curvy heroine and Michelle has delivered a fabulous one with Dirty Games. Unexpectedly thrown together, Vivi and Zayn, can't stay away from each other, or keep their hands off each, even though everything is saying they should. Their chemistry on so many levels, is of the charts and I am crossing my fingers that the next installment of this new series (yes, there is a cliffhanger) gives them both what they both want, and deserve . . . a caring, genuine relationship.
It's this type of story that has Michelle on my "automatic 1-click" list of authors.

The story has pain, laughs, secrets, CLIFFY, and heartbreak.
This is Vivi‘s story. Vivi has a job opportunity and her boyfriend had agreed to move with her but at the last possible second backs out. He dumps her at the airport. She leaves as she gave up things to be with Robert, but he is not willing to be with her. She moves to the where they planned and starts her job. His uncle who was supposed to have them live at his house is not happy that Robert didn’t show. But allows her to stay. They form a friendship that leads to more. But he has rules he must stick to and no matter what he will even if that means hurting them both. This book ends on a cliffy. I was not happy about that and honestly though for the short size of the book it should have been a novella prequal not a book. Ends on a cliffy no true HEA I am disappointed all the way around…….. Shame as I enjoyed the story until the cliffy stole the show.

Vivi finds herself moving in order to begin her new job as a production assistant on a new reality series. She believes she is moving with her boyfriend to stay at his uncle's house while they get an apartment and a car, etc. She gets dumped at the airport and flies on her own to the address she was given. She meets Robbie's uncle who is a professional football player. She informs him that she has nowhere to go and no money until she gets her first paycheck. To say this has to have the reader suspend some belief is an understatement. Who goes to a stranger's house and just lets themself in without at least letting the person know that their nephew isn't with them? She also helps herself to the amenities and some of his food because she is desperate and in need of them. For someone who said she was a waitress and her boyfriend came from a wealthy family, where is any of her money? Some of it just didn't add up. Zayne not being able to date was a bit far-fetched too. A team does not have the right to tell a player that they can't date. This isn't the stone ages and the players have agents for a reason. They can tell them to keep their noses clean, but they cannot tell them that dating someone is not allowed. The ending could be seen from a mile away so I am now going to start book 2 to see what happens.

Wow.. what a great start to a new series by Michelle Valentine! I was hooked from start to finish. Now i can't wait to see what happens next after that cliffhanger!

Mad, she dumps him and goes by herself hoping that the uncle will be OK letting her stay there until she's saved enough for a place of her own. Except how was she to know that the uncle is football star Zayn North and that he would be too delicious and tempting for her not to notice.
Loved the story. Loved the characters. Can't wait to read the next book!!

I'm just not feeling it. Vivi and her boyfriend are moving to Florida so she can start a new job. As soon as the get to the airport the BF dumps her.
It doesn't stop Vivi from moving forward to catch her dream job. What she hadn't counted on was Zayn. She was expecting an old man and what she got was all together a pleasant surprise. Although their first meeting has her flashing some boob when she gets out of the pool.
From pretty much on Zayn is falling over himself to do what he can to help Vivi. Of course its not much longer before he gives into his feelings and they sleep together. When he gets called out at work about a situation with Vivi he covers and says she is his niece. He tries to stay away from her and that last about a minute.
Of course we get a cliff hanger when the ex shows up, wondering what happens next. Not sure I'm interested enough to find out.

Dirty Games is an awesome forbidden romance. After being dumped by her boyfriend, Robert, at the airport, Vivi heads to Florida as planned. She has a job waiting, but will she still have a place to stay at the now ex-boyfriend's uncle's house.
Zayn is so much more than she expected. All she new was that he worked for a football team. She didn't know he was a major football player. This guy cannot be Robert's uncle. This guy is in his 30's and HOT. The author took Zayn and Vivi on a wild, slow build romance, one he wasn't supposed to have.
Tensions rise as they try to deny their feelings. It is getting harder and harder. After being called into the office; he will have to try harder. I loved the slow build to a happily ever after, but guess what, you get to keep waiting for part two, Dirty Play. Will there be a happily ever after or will they crash and burn?

What!?
Ok here we go! Gonna let you know upfront this ends in a cliff hanger. I know most put it at the end, but I hate when a book I'm looking into reading & at the very end of the review ( which let's be honest most don't read all the way through) it says cliff hanger. Personally I loved this book. Who couldn't when the characters are Harry Potter fans? The only thing I would tweak is maybe a little more background with them & she definitely needs some self confidence but other than that it's great & look forward to the next one. Light read but worth it. Don't bother if you don't like CH's! <--- Just a friendly reminder.

So I really need to arrange to go stay with somebody's uncle and they be just like Zayn please!! I absolutely loved him, from his grumpiness to his overprotectiveness to just his entire package!! Vivi is pretty much every single one of us inside. With our doubts and insecurities about ourselves. But I love how she reacts to Robert at the beginning of her story and I hope she continues to tell him where he can go. Also is it April yet because Michelle left us with one he!! of a cliffhanger and I need book 2 now!! Thank goodness there is only a month between books. I love Michelle and her books and I highly recommend this one!!!

The spice factor was strong with this one!
It's been quite some time since I last picked up a book by Michelle A. Valentine and I'm questioning myself and wondering why I ever stopped!
I was absolutely sucked into Dirty Games! I couldn't get enough of Vivi and Zayn's spicy romance!
I loved the fact that Vivi had curves! Everyday I read novels about women with athletic type bodies and sometimes it grows old seeing the same heroine book after book. So that made me an instant fan of Vivi. I also loved the many facets to her personality. She had a vulnerable side but she also had a fighting side to her. She knew she wanted Zayn and she wasn't about to let him walk away from a good thing! And believe me when I say, these two had a good thing! Their chemistry was off the charts!
Now onto why I rated Dirty Games a 4 star. I needed more substance at the beginning of the novel. I didn't buy the heartbreak, I wanted a bit more feeling in those first couple chapters.
Overall, I loved Dirty Games and given the cliffhanger I can't wait to dive into the next book! Eek! I haven't been this excited about a series in a long time!!

Fabulous start to new Series
The kickoff to the new Series from Michelle was a touchdown!!!
Love the story line where it’s headed and to be honest sad that book 2 isn’t available yet! But happy to wait when ready!!
I believe it’s a great beginning of their story but with much more to be unravelled. Zayn mystery surrounds him and I look forward to his story to be further told in upcoming books I hope. The thick girl attitude that surrounds this book I love it!!!!

Cliffhanger Team Zayn
ARC REVIEW) I don't know where to start with this but I enjoyed reading this book. The storyline was a 4.5 I felt like it was missing something but I just don't know what it is. And the spicings that we did have was sweet I give it a 2.5. I hate Robert's character because of the douche move he pulled at the airport. But I am looking forward to see where this goes because the ending left me with so many more questions. Like who rats them out is it Gia or is it Robert or is it Bella I don't really know.

Dirty Games is about forbidden lust/love and breaking rules, which we all know is what draws us in and Michelle A. Valentine has done that so well with this book.
Now that cliffhanger…..it’s like BAM! What the heck just happened!!
Let’s just say book 2 Dirty Plays is going to interesting and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

Oh I really liked this one from the start to Oh Shit ending (Cliffy)
Forbidden romance is a favorite of mine. This one is forbidden but not so forbidden more our hero feels they shouldn't be together and outside sources say he can't. Our heroine isn't sure for personal reason.
But she wants him bad and he wants her just the same.
I enjoyed watching their internal battles
So he says screw it your mine HOT then Michelle Valentine hits my with that Oh Shit moment.
Our Heroine is in a sticky situation and our hero has put them in AWFUL position.
I can't wait for the next one.

Such a great read it was hard to put down.
Robert is an asshole and Vivi deserves so much better than him. I mean who in there right mind sends there girlfriend to live with an uncle they don't even know, in another state. Zayn the uncle in question turns out to be the perfect gentleman, not at first but as the weeks go by he is really growing on Vivi as she is him. Do they make the perfect match and become what her and Robert couldn't?
Or does Zayn let the Devils decide his fate and possibly cost him his one true love?

The chemistry is off the charts. They have so many obstacles that stand in their way. Book ends in a cliffhanger. Can't wait for book 2. Hurry please Michelle Valentine. I high recommend this book. Disappointing! Imagine you are on your way to your dream job and Robert, your boyfriend, changes his mind, and dumps you at the airport. What a sleazy coward. Shouldn't he have mentioned this to Vivi the night before?

This was an awesome quick read! I loved reading this story of Zayn and Vivi they were such a sweet couple. It was a fun football story about a girl who knows nothing of the football world and gets thrown in head first when she meet this man unexpectedly. I am so glad I read this close to the release of book 2 because cliff hanger 😩 I can’t wait to devour book 2 as quickly as I did with this one!
