In this story, things are really hotting up between the Dragon Elite and the Rogue Riders. Sophia is, as usual, running here, there, and everywhere, as she tries to put out the fires - some of them literal - that are being caused by the demon dragons and their partners.
Between trying to sort out all of the various tasks she needs to complete, Sophia is surprised by some much welcomed visitors to Gullington, and she also heard some very worrying news from her sister, Liv.
Sophia barely gets a break from everything but, when Lunis asks for a Thanksgiving dinner, Hiker agrees to it, and so the Dragon Elite join together , in thanking Mother Nature for all the good things in life that she provides!
This series is getting ever more complex, and I can't wait to see how the Dragon Elite will cope with all the bad things that have happened, as a result of the Rogue Rider's interference with both mortals and magicians.
I'm also really loving the nod to Doctor Who within the story again. It's wonderful having my favourite TV show included in this series, especially that, like Sarah, my favourite Doctor be of all, is David Tennant!
So, once again I've finished yet another story, so will, after some sleep, be continuing with to be next book in the series: book twenty two: Resolve of Evil - now that doesn't sound very bad, does it? Lol
So, I'll start reading this after I have some sleep, and I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know what I think about this new book!
When I'm reading these books I feel like I have a movie screen in my head and I'm watching the action unfolding. The story is that powerful. I was captivated watching the confrontation in Las Vegas between the Dragon Elite and the Rogue Riders. I was especially impressed with how Wilder handled the situation. I agreed with him that the Rogue Dragon Riders needed some punishing to try and get their minds working and realizing that they needed to straighten out. It's too bad that Evan wasn't there to face Nathaniel. I love how Quiet deals with Evan and I know that Evan loves irritating Quiet. This time Quiet really got the upper hand. That was fascinating. I wonder if the demon angel statues will play a role in the future of the Castle layout. I think they should have another appearance since they were harassing Evan. When I began the book I expected it to take a couple of days at least to read so I was so surprised when I got to Sarah's notes and realized I'd finished the book in one sitting. I can hardly put the books down. I immediately started the next book in the series. Good thing I'm retired and can spend time reading.
