Mac & Daniel’s story continues in this Bliss Series Novella. The proposal has been accepted and Mac is reigning in her freak outs, although Daniel is still a little worried that as the wedding approaches that Mac might just freak out. Living the life that she never expected, happily engaged, sleeping with only one man, mother of two and well.... blissfully happy. Mac is ready to say I do to her superman. Permanent Bliss gives the final moments leading up to their HEA as they approach their wedding day.
Although this was a Novella, it was also the epilogue to one story and the transition that leads us perfectly into Finding Bliss (Noah’s story). BJH gives us the humor in large doses as we go through the crazy stress of wedding planning, drunken monkey sex and being the parents of two little monsters.
We also get to see the interaction of the whole group again and a bit more lively interaction with a few characters that make me want this series to be more than just 4 books. Come on BJ, you can’t give us a new character and not give us a story to go along with it!
I have enjoyed the Bliss Series from the start. And for the first time I feel like I am ready for Noah to sweep me off my feet. Out of all the men, he was the one that remained off my radar but for some reason he sort of won me over in this. Bravo, BJ for getting this girl to want to embrace the walking dildo – I did not think it was going to an easy thing to do.
The Bliss Series is a fantastically written -humor filled romance. You get sassy heroines and you get strong heroes that touch on all of the types of BBF we love.

AHHH!!!! Okay, Mac and Daniel are definitely still my favorites. I adore this couple so much and this little novella further made me fall in love with this couple. Mac is probably one of my favorite characters, she's hilarious!!!

Daniel and Mac are back! See that, it even rhymed! The hilariously adorable couple is gracing everyone again with their funny banters, steamy sexy sex scenes, and sugar sweet lovin'.
BJ Harvey did not disappoint in giving us the story of these two after Temporary Bliss and the glimpses we saw of them from the other stories in this fun romantic series.
I was excited when the author announced that there will be a novella for Daniel and Mac, after those bonus chapters at the end of True Bliss. Babies, wedding preparation, marriage… family life, I am a sucker for these kinds of HEA no matter how cliché it may be, it just all depends on how it's written. BJ Harvey made sure that this installment, Permanent Bliss, is as enjoyable and sexy as it was in the beginning of their relationship.
"Then there is my deep-seated fear that Mac is going to bolt. I know it's irrational, especially when nothing she's done in the past eighteen months has given me any indication that she is unhappy or not committed to our future together…"
Fourteen days before the wedding and with two almost 2-year olds, how much craziness can the Superman and Gorgeous and well, the entire gang, get into? There's the very amusing bachelor and bachelorette parties, the best man and his plus one issue, and there's Daniel's teeny tiny bit uncertainty that Mac might change her mind and realize her previous "lifestyle" works better for her than being a mom and a soon-to-be-wife.
"He treats me with respect, he listens to what I say and everything in our lives is discussed and agreed upon. We're in a true partnership, not just two people in a relationship."
But Mac proved Daniel (and me) wrong. I love seeing the love between them grow deeper and that Mac is sensitive to Daniel's feelings and makes sure that he knows she's committed, she tells him her feelings without any qualms. I believe their relationship is more stable and not just because they now have kids but because they communicate and in some way, more secure about each other.
I like how BJ Harvey writes this series, with spunk and romance very well blended!
I look forward to more novellas on the gang!

I'm assuming you have already read Temporary Bliss and fallen in love with delicious Daniel? Well prepare to be wooed by him again. Mac is a very lucky girl!
These two are my favourite couple of the series and you just know that Daniel is going to pull out all the sweet stuff to get his girl to the altar with him. The proposal is so sweet! I love how much he adores her and isn't afraid to show it. They love each other with so much passion and the chemistry between them is just so freaking hot.
If you thought that Daniel was a sweet boyfriend then wait until you read about him as a father to their twins, jeepers, your womb will clench and his interaction with them will just melt your heart.
We are reunited with all of the men from Macs 'pre-Daniel' harem and there is a really cool moment between them all that you just have to read, it brings all of them full circle as they individually move on with their lives.
I really enjoyed all the chaos that leads up to a wedding day. I loved being back in Daniel & Mac's life and seeing how they were getting on now. The bonus POV's were awesome and I loved the epilogue, a fabulous introduction to Noah's story.

We are back to Mac and Daniel!! It’s time for their happily ever after FINALLY! This was a quick read that brings every one back together for this big day. We get more of the hotness that is M&D, more level 10 freak outs and loads of laughs! This was a great way to celebrate this union, I was glad it finally came back around to them.

What an AMAZING finish to Makenna and Daniel's story. Permanent Bliss is a novella in the Bliss Series by BJ Harvey. I loved that she created this little gem for us. My review will probably be really short, because the book was really short. This is a novella that can be read in less then a couple hours, but it is totally worth the time to read it. Yes it short and sweet but it is also well written. This novella reminded me exactly why I LOVE this series and I LOVE BJ Harvey's writing style. She knows how to grab hold of you and keep you that way all the way to the very last word. This was definitely a sweet, fun and sexy addition to this series. It made me want to go back and reread Temporary Bliss, because I realized how much I miss all these characters.
This novella is about Daniel and Makenna's wedding. It starts with 2 weeks left before the big day. We get to see little snippets of what happens with Daniel and Mac over those 14 days. We also get to see how things turned out right after the end of Temporary Bliss. This novella takes place 18 months after the end of that book. I loved that we got to see the woman Mac turned out to be. She is still an independent woman, but she is so much more than that now. Daniel is still the Sweetest hero I have read to date. Nothing and nobody can take Superman's place in my heart or on my BBF list :)
It was great catching up with some of the other characters from the series. I loved that we get to see that Mac is still friends with Noah, Zander, and Sean. They are also 3 amazing men and I have loved every single one of them. I loved that the epilogue was like a preview or lead into Noah's book (Finding Bliss) that comes out later this winter!!! I think his book is going to be interesting ;)
I would 100% recommend this little gem of a book to everyone who is a fan of the Bliss Series. If you haven't read this series yet, then my only question is….What are you waiting for?????

Mac and Superman are back!
I love, love love this couple! They are sweet, sexy, funny - Mac is bloody hilarious!
"Bra line, mom, Bra line. No one says breasts anymore. Boobs, jugs, tits, knockers, sweater puppies, hooters, the twins, traffic lights, bazoongas. Boobs, mom." ~ Mac.
And Daniel - aka Superman - is just swoonworthy. There is not one thing not to like about this man. I need to go lose my phone on a train to find my own Superman (with super parts!! )
Loved that the whole crazy gang is back in this one too.
This was an beautiful ending to Mac and Daniel's story.
Now, bring on Noah "The Walking Dildo's" story!!

This companion novella is so much more than you would anticipate – it brings Mac and Daniel’s story to its happy ever after and it does it with absolute perfection!
Mac and Daniel have it all, and their relationship is so passionate that they are perfect for each other. They are so funny together and while the story concentrates on the lead up to their wedding, it gives us ample opportunity to experience Mac and Daniel at their hilarious best.
They say that a couple that laughs together stays together, and is that is the case then I have no qualms that this pair will grow old and grey together.
Mac’s bachelorette night is downright hilarious – and the drunken messages between her and Daniel (aka Superman) had me laughing out loud on numerous occasions.
Expecting the infamous Mac meltdown when Noah drops the bombshell on who his plus one is to be at the wedding, it was funny to witness the fact that Daniel was the one that got his knickers is a twist and not Mac.
Happy in her own skin and resolute in the fact that she had finally reached the place in her life that she was meant to be – she took it all in her stride.
Told from both points of view, we get to not only hear but feel the emotion that this pair feel for each other, it is real – tangible and completely consuming.
Their references to the twins are just beautiful - completely realistic with the emotions that every parent feels towards their child but delivered with comedy perfect and the enthusiasm and love, the twins really are the completion of their world.
Perfect as a couple they are incredible as a family!
It was fabulous to be able to catch up with all the other characters and to finally hear from Noah – I cannot wait to hear his story in the next book Finding Bliss.

The Bliss Series by B.J. Harvey is one of my absolute favourites. Daniel ‘Superman’ Winters and Makenna Lewis are one of the funniest, sexiest and most perfect couples you’ll meet. And by perfect I don’t mean all roses and sunshine I mean honest and real and ideally suited to each other.
Permanent Bliss is a companion novella to the Bliss Series and it’s where we get to see whether Mac and Daniel get the happily ever after I always thought they so richly deserved. Consistent with other books in the series there are some seriously H.O.T. sex scenes in Permanent Bliss, not to mention moments of absolute hilarity … in fact, more than once the two are combined.
We get to see all of our favourites from the series … Noah, Zander, Sean, Kate and one of my not so favourites … Nikki. The count down to the wedding is precisely what you’d expect from that high stress time, but it also offers fabulous insight to the depth of the relationship between Daniel and Mac. But the absolute BESTEST bit is the Epilogue … B.J. you better be frantically writing lady because I cannot wait for Noah’s story now!!
If you haven’t picked up this series yet you really are missing out … Temporary Bliss is where it all starts and “the smoking hot volcano of fine” that is Daniel Winters would have to be one of my all time favourite book boyfriends … of course I’m also not ashamed to say that I love Mac just as much and kind of have a bit of a girl crush on her … she’s this fabulous blend of awesomeness and yet still incredibly, humanly fallible. True Bliss (Kate and Zander) and Blissful Surrender (Sean and Samantha) are the other two books in the series and I’m confident in saying once you start, you won’t want to stop.
Permanent Bliss wraps up Daniel and Macs story perfectly, and opens the door for the final book in the Bliss Series, Finding Bliss.

Mac and Daniel’s love story continues in this great novella from BJ Harvey’s BLISS Series. I didn’t know how necessary this book was until I finished it! I would have cried without it, screamed without it, and whined without it. So thank you Ms. Harvey for helping me to avoid a breakdown! Mac and Daniel are one of those couples you just want to hang around with all of the time. They are so easy-going, so fucking hilarious, and just plain entertaining. PERMANENT BLISS gives us a look into the days leading up to Mac and Daniel’s wedding day. This includes stress from the parents, anxiety through the planning, and of course, drunken, hilarious, horny as hell Makenna Lewis. The twist in this novella…Daniel is the one who is stressing the most! Seriously! Mac is non the wiser, and she just wants to forever be bound to her one and only Superman.
The whole crew is back! Full of touching moments, tons of sexy time, and hilarious innuendoes, I couldn’t be more pleased with how Mac and Daniel’s happily ever after turned out. Full of bold heroines and heroes who get their balls handed to them on a daily basis, the BLISS Series is a definite MUST READ!

This is a companion novella. To fully enjoy it, you will want to read Temporary Bliss first.
I loved everything about this. It’s nice to enjoy the neurotic Mac and superhero Daniel again even if for only a few weeks of story time. This starts off with a refresher and different point of view from their engagement. Then we jump straight to crunch time around their wedding. All of the elements that make this series so enjoyable are here. The quirky and witty banter between Mac and Daniel is amazing. I love how they can go from funny to sexy in the blink of an eye. And make no doubt about it, while it’s a short novella it is filled with dirty, yummy sex.
After all of Mac’s epic freak outs, they finally get their forever. It doesn’t end there. In this light hearted HEA, we are lucky enough to also get some extra bonus scenes. There is their first meeting on the L from Daniel’s point of view and a snippet from their first Christmas together. To top it all off there is a nice lead in to Noah’s story which is up next later in the year.

I loved everything about this. It’s nice to enjoy the neurotic Mac and superhero Daniel again even if for only a few weeks of story time. This starts off with a refresher and different point of view from their engagement. Then we jump straight to crunch time around their wedding. All of the elements that make this series so enjoyable are here. The quirky and witty banter between Mac and Daniel is amazing. I love how they can go from funny to sexy in the blink of an eye. And make no doubt about it, while it’s a short novella it is filled with dirty, yummy sex.
After all of Mac’s epic freak outs, they finally get their forever. It doesn’t end there. In this light hearted HEA, we are lucky enough to also get some extra bonus scenes. There is their first meeting on the L from Daniel’s point of view and a snippet from their first Christmas together. To top it all off there is a nice lead in to Noah’s story which is up next later in the year.

Eh, I thought there were a few sweet moments, but too many 'yeah, right' type of situations.
[SPOILER]
I thought the 'will she run?' Plot line silly considering there was never anything in the h's behavior, at present, to hint it would happen. Nor was there any sort of snafu to make it seem like she was late or anything. Daniel thought it a few times and really did nothing for the story.
I also do not buy Daniel being ok with Mac having one last drink with the three guys...at the wedding rehearsal! Really?! After we just learned Sean wasn't even originally coming/invited to the wedding?! Even though Sam coming to the wedding and was at Mac's bachelorette party? Um...okay, if you say so.
Then there was this huge stink/plot device for Daniel's ex to be coming to the wedding after Mac had originally said no way, yet there were NOOOO issues at the wedding as far as we are told in this novella?
Not much of a story here at all, the lead to Noah's story was more interesting than the rest of the book. I didn't find their wedding all that swoon worthy or anything like that, either. Sorry.

I was so excited to hear that BJ was writing another book about Mac and Daniel aka Superman with his Weapon of Mass Impregnation.
The chemistry between Mac and Daniel heats up the pages and dampens panties. They are in love and you can feel it radiate between them. Who said babies decrease the amount of sex a couple has? Because Mac and Daniel didn't get that memo. They can't keep their hands off each other.
Permanent Bliss is packed with heat and belly laughs that will keep you turning the pages or tapping your e-reader as we accompany Mac, Daniel and the rest of the gang through the wedding process leading up to the wedding.
There is an epilogue that introduces us to the "Walking Dildo" himself. I wasn't sure how BJ was going to soften me up to Noah but just from that epilogue I am ready for his story!

What a wonderful way to wrap up for Mac and Superman.
It's like watching a finale of your fave series. BJ Harvey did a great job wrapping this up and it truly feels like it comes to a full circle. Such a happy ending. I was taking my time reading every page and want it to last because I know it's like the grand finale. And it didn't disappoint.
This story reminded me of why I love Mac and her sassiness and how much I enjoyed Temporary Bliss.
And it also gives us a glimpse of Noah's story that sure intriguing. I can't wait for the story of walking dildo.
Maybe he will meet a woman that vibrate his soul? We shall see.. ;)

What a great ending to the story of Makenna and Daniel. This couple has been through so many ups and downs, it was great to see them get their happy ending.
This book was a lighthearted trip through their road to their wedding.
Makenna had finally realized that she deserves to be happy. She has found her true love with her “Superman” Daniel. Hot as hell, and so smooth talking, he is perfect.
With twins to complete their family, they have it all.
Unfortunately there are a few bumps along the way but they persevere with flair.
This book had lots of hot sex and comical moments. It was great. I cannot wait to read about Noah “Walking Dildo” Taylor in the next book!

What a way to end the journey of MaKenna and Daniel. I loved every single minute of this story. This was told in true freak out Mac way and in the totally sexy Daniel way. The sex scenes are AMAZING and the side stories had me tearing up after laughing so hard. It leaves the door wide open for us to learn a bit more about Noah and read his story next. I thank you for ending their journey the way you did.

Thank you for making this short novel just about the wedding day. Daniel's concerns are warranted considering the history he has had with his sexy, gorgeous lady! We don't want Mac to back out of true love out of fear. Or stupid Ex girlfriend's crashing the wedding. Daniel wants Mac big day to fo without a hitch, distractions or jitterbug's on Mac end.
Then Daniel's best friend Noah now wants to invite Daniel's Ex to the wedding. The one & only thing that Mac requested. Not to have his ex come to the wedding.
Though it was okay if Mac's Ex's are invited because they are still friends. One of Mac's sex buddies happens to be Daniel's friend & best man Noah.
You had me worried when that silly Nicki woman insisted on coming to the wedding.
I just wanted a happily ever after wedding. That is what we get in this short hot novel! Plus a whole lot of sexy love scenes from the two characters.

Permanent Bliss was another great story by B.J. Harvey. I was so happy to get this little novella that shows you more of Daniel and Mackenna from her first book in this series Temporary Bliss. I would give this story a 4 stars. This is not a standalone so you must at least have read Temporary Bliss before this to understand the story. Although all the stories in this series were amazing and you should pick them up as well.
As you should know by now the story began with Makenna being a commitment phobe and how Daniel broke down her walls. With this story you get to see how the twins are born and how they make a life with each other. There is definitely still some doubt from Daniel that Mackenna will run away but in this story he will prove how he can make her stay and make a happily ever after. Mackenna will prove she isn't going to run.. and you get to read about there beautiful wedding.

I loved Mac and Daniel’s story in Temporary Bliss and I also loved reading little snippets about them in True Bliss and Blissful Surrender so I was really looking forward to reading about their wedding in Permanent Bliss. BJ Harvey did not disappoint me.
I decided to keep to the wedding theme when I writing my review. I’m sorry if you don’t appreciate my analogy.
The Bliss series by BJ Harvey could be likened to a wedding cake. The foundation layer is Temporary Bliss and a very tasty layer it is. It consists of a romantic story flavoured with hot sex and funny lines. This is where I fell in love with Mac and Daniel aka Superman as well as Kate, Mac’s best friend.
That brings me to the second layer, True Bliss, Kate and Zander’s story. The third layer is Blissful Surrender, Sean and Samantha’s story. Both of these layers are rich and decadent.
But everyone knows that the top layer of a cake is the best one of all and Permanent Bliss definitely met my expectations. I was able to have more of Kate and her Superman, Daniel plus the Super twins. I was in cake heaven. So many of the characters from the Bliss series were added into the mixture plus a few unknowns. Once all those ingredients were combined, BJ Harvey produced another 5 star book.

The book was told in both POVs. Which I always love. You get to see more inside people's minds and in to their thoughts, which worked well with this book.
You get to see the whole group back together again, which I wasn't expecting, but loved to see. Brilliant addition to the story line.
Permanent Bliss was a very short and sweet novella that your love to bits from start to finish. The whole story was rounded off nicely and the whole series was excellent.

A wonderful conclusion to the perfect love story for a couple I fell madly in love with so many months ago.
It goes without saying that Mac and Daniel are my favourite couple of the BLISS SERIES, so it was the most awesome thing ever when I found out that they were getting a novella, a wedding and everything that comes with the life of Mac and Daniel. *happy dance*

I was lucky enough to receive an arc of Permanent Bliss in exchange for an honest review. If I wasn't already an avid fan of Daniel "Superman" Winters Permanent Bliss would of converted me...
I loved how much Makenna has grown, her days of level ten freak outs might not be over but they are definitely less frequent. Permanent Bliss is the reference to the now impending marriage between our characters. We get a glimpse at all the preparations, the families interfering, bachelorete and bachelor parties, etc.
Normally bridezillas have to deal with all these things. In Mac's situation, you need to add the 18 month twins with the ever present Daniel's ex-girlfriend Nikki, and Mac's threesome sex buddies. The sex-buddies are all friends with girlfriends, except Sean, and Daniel has made his peace with all of that. In the case of Nikki, we have a different story. Mac has not been that forgiving and the fact that Nikki is seeking an invitation to the wedding just adds to the stress.
I really enjoyed reading about these two wonderful characters as they get ready to make their final commitment to love each other forever. Their 3 year relationship has not dimmed their passion and with the passing of time, their bond is stronger than ever. Great HAPPILY EVER AFTER here!
