When Vince Bellator, a highly decorated and lethal former Delta Force soldier witnesses an innocent family’s death, he vows revenge. Even if that means taking on Angel Lopez, the violent head of the Caidos drug cartel.
But Vince is living on borrowed time. After using lethal force to prevent a terrorist attack on the Lincoln Memorial, Vince is unsure if the government will pardon him or arrest him.
He must work quickly to uncover the perilous secrets of the Caidos drug empire. Including Angel’s latest smuggling ventures with his ruthless Russian business partner, Pavel Krupin.
Risking everything to bring Lopez down, Vince sets off on his most dangerous mission yet.
But how far is Vince willing to go for revenge?
Wildfire is the explosive sequel to John Cutter’s hard-hitting political thriller, Firepower .
John Cutter is the author of The Specialist novels, which inspired the Sylvester Stallone movie of the same name. He lives in the Pacific Northwest, USA.
OK- I still like Vince Bellator's brand of vigilante justice. The Neo-nazis, facists, racists, cartel members get what is coming to them. By a one-man wrecking crew. But IMHO, Cutter is not a great writer, especially with dialogue. Corny. Creepy. Weird. Vince also has the worst martyr/killer complex in the history of action lit. Feels a little like he is creating a small cult of strays.
It's an easy read and expect Vince to keep killing really evil people. So that is good. But not much else to recommend.
This book was much more exciting to Read. I read almost every day. My advice read this Series.. You have found a new favorite author. He deserves 5 Stars.
