I’m trade waiting Nightwing, but I decided to pick this up since Wally was in it, and it was worth it. I love seeing these two team up, and Taylor has a great voice for Wally. Really good team-up issue.

“Issue #91” starts with Nightwing and Flash fighting the KGBeast and henchmen.

Apparently last seen in Nightwing: Knight Terrors. So even though I have those two books listed as 2023 and this book as 2022 I guess I’ll go check them out.

No, wait, those are different Knight Terrors! I actually read and reviewed the one they are talking about. This was that stupid Ric Grayson thing! Though surprisingly I did give it a good review. Anyway….

Flash rips KGBeast’s arm off.

KGBeast sets off a bomb. They defeat it. Then they take KGBeast’s phone to Oracle. Oracle cannot find out who hired KGBeast to kidnap her. She did find a cell tower that is not supposed to exist in a jungle in Central America.

Nightwing gets a message on his phone. La Agente Funebre. A (ahem) League of Assassins.

Flash and Nightwing go to Costa Rica and find the cell tower. They also find a villain’s lair and land mines. They approach the lair and have to fight six killers. A helicopter also tries to get away.

Flash goes after the helicopter but knocks himself out on a force field in front of it. The villain comes out of the helicopter and comes after Nightwing with two sickle-swords. That and the ram skull helmet tells you she’s the villain.

They fight. He wins.

Nightwing wakes up Flash, who decides to talk about Nightwing’s relationship with Barbara.

Inside the headquarters they find Funebre’s computer and his links to his league of assassins.

This was terrific. Fun bits of action. A bit of a paper villain but it worked as intended and I enjoyed reading it. I think you will to. 5 stars

I’m a little confused by Lady Shiva having blue eyes however.

Still an excellent run: I am enjoying this once more, which is honestly surprising me. A friend suggested I start the Nightwing Rebirth series, starting with Taylor and I picked up some issues then subscribed on a whim: I like Taylor, and I figured why not try another Robin? Obviously if I could pick between this and a Red Hood run, I'd go Red Hood, but I can't, c'est la vie.

Dick, in the Annual to this series, was nice to Jason, too, so I figured I'd give him a shot. (I judge DC characters based on how nice they are to Jason Todd at any given moment, and it drives some of my friends crazy.)

So far, I'm enjoying this series. Many more hits than not, and usually I wouldn't stick with a Nightwing series. It's got just enough warmth, humor, and heart to keep me engaged, although of course I would be bored without the usual superhero shenanigans. Taylor is great at balancing everything, though.

This is the second part of short Flash team-up arc, and it's the best Flash, Wally West.

I have no idea how this version of Wally West returned to regular continuity, but what is important is that this is the Flash that inherited his uncle's title and created a legacy of his own. This is the Flash that had a family and kids, and it just feels right he is back.

I like how Wally is giving his oldest friend Dick advice on how to take his relationship to the next level. If Wally and Linda could figure it out, he's sure that Dick and Babs could do the same.

This issue is not drawn by the regular artist but the colorist is there to maintain the visual consistency for this title.

You always have to love how these friendships play out and how strong they are.
It's kind of like that 'you're a good man Charlie Brown' kinda vibe. Plus I'm interested to see where all this is going. Putting a target on his own back like this and actually being safer as Nightwing.
Plus, relationship advice from The Flash? It was a sweet moment.

Se ha alargado un poco este arco, no les miento, pero bueno, veamos que nos espera
