He slept with her best friend and actually liked her. He willingly gave up his best friend (pathetic heroine) because the OW told him to because he wanted his relationship with her to work. After all this we are supposed to believe he always loved the pathetic heroine? Pathetic heroine off course waited for him whilst he rubbed it in her face that he was screwing her ex best friend. This guy had no loyalty either as a friend or as a future boyfriend. I love the way their mutual friends and family were still trying to pimp him out to her even knowing what he had done. They were both weak characters and double standards all aboard in this book. BEAR IN MIND HE WAS ALL UP FOR THE PATHETIC HEROINEโS EX BEST FRIEND BEFORE HE FOUND OUT THINGS ABOUT THE OW. WAS VERY SEXUAL WITH THE OW AND HE EVEN LOST HIS VIRGINITY TO HER. There was literally nothing left for pathetic heroine because he had already done all of it with the ex best friend! Pathetic heroine kept her virginity because as she said she was always waiting for him. Yuck

This is pathetic writing at it's worse - and I have read a lot of crap in my time.
So in a nutshell, because this doesn't really deserve any review at all, this is about a guy who f**ks heroine's BFF all through the story up until 99% while the female MC sits back and constantly watches & hears them - all while she remains a virgin for him and allows him to finger her because she is too weak & stupid. And then we have the OW become the evil one in the end which is never really explained as to why she is - and all is forgiven & forgotten by the idiot.
The person who wrote this needs to get an award. Anyone? Buyler?

Cringe worthy
Man, I've read about some sh*ty heroes before and this guy is right up there. I cringed so much I was worried I'd do myself damage. The hero is a straight up piece of crap, and the h is a doormat.

Iโm an avid reader so Iโve read a lot. This book is by far the worse. This heroine wins the award for best doormat.

I absolutely fell in love with these two. MT Morgan is a master at bringing forth unique and captivating stories. Break is an introduction to the BurBay Falls series and all I can say is that I cannot wait for more. This book gripped me in many ways. It was as quick read and a complete page turner!

I devoured this book! Break was raw and steamy and everything I didnโt know I needed in my life!
I have never felt so many emotions than I did in this novella. This dark, best friends to lovers, was fabulous in capturing my attention in all aspects of the book! I absolutely love Nixon and Monroe! Their friendship is everything. Their bond is unbreakable. This book was so steamy! This novella pack so much into it that I am craving for more! I need more of these characters! More of this world! More if everything that is Burbay!

Damn! Yet again another 5star read from M.T. Morgan! This had so much angst and love I couldn't put it down!! This little novella had it all and I absolutely love Nixon and Monroe! They are so perfect ! Such a good read

How much can you fit into a novella, you ask? Well, just read this book to find out! We have best friends-to-lovers, high school angst, H is golden boy-star quarterback, h is โcaptionโ of cheer squad-bestest dancer in town, attempted rape, cheating, murder, teenage sleeper agents, teenage assassins, powerful high profile billionaire families who secretly deal in underworld shit, everything but the kitchen sink. Too much happening in such a short book, with minimal backstory.

Decadent and raw I really enjoyed this quick novella MT is a Automatic one-click author for me her writing is intriguing and I canโt wait to se what she comes up with next.
