This is one of the better written books on parenting. I have read many parenting books and often they are very dry and hard to follow. I am currently reading another parenting book that I have not yet finished, and I would highly recommend the one I’m currently reading (will post a review once finished). However, this book is very insightful as it describes the different parenting styles and helps you identify which you are currently practicing. It also gives specific examples of scenarios of misbehavior in children and how to handle those instances. I appreciated this part of the book specifically. I still encourage people to read this book as it offers supportive parenting information that is valuable to the K-12 age.

This book had some good ideas. It was also short, which was nice. As parents, we don't have time to read huge parenting books that don't get to the point. They only thing I didn't like was they way they used the word "myriad." Technically it was correct how they used it, but it felt unnatural and weird.
