Dive into the first three books of the Dating Monsters series featuring Dracula & Anna! These paranormal romantic comedies will have you clutching your sides!
Dating Dracula
Thanks to an unfortunate back-alley encounter, I'm the newest member of the undead country club (fangs, coffin, and all). And my savior? Sire? Whatever...
Freaking. Dracula. Himself.
Even better? He claims I'm his mate! Like... eternal love. But come on! I don't have time for that. Not only do I need to track down my attempted murderer, but I also need to learn how to be a vampire. Falling in love is the last thing on my mind right now.
Well, maybe not quite last. He is crazy hot after all.
Loving Dracula
Welp, I, Anna Perish, am now a vampire. And it’s been one hell of a ride so far. Not only am I shacking up with the Dracula, but I’ve also been summoned by the Queen of Vampires. And why, you might ask? Oh, it’s nothing big. She just wants to kill me for killing her sire. Unfortunately, self-defense means squat among the undead.
Then there's introducing Vlad to my family—which might just be more terrifying than facing the queen. Oh, and we mustn't forget the inquisitor who comes calling.
Man, my life has become really dangerous since dying.
Marrying Dracula
I wanted a vacation. VA-CA-TION. Yet, in a stunning example of “be careful what you wish for,” I’m in freaking prison.
In England, no less.
So much for my darling Vlad as a nekkid Cabana boy.
How did I go from human vlogger to vampire inmate in a matter of months?
I need to get myself out of this mess. I do have a wedding to plan, after all, and nothing will keep me from marrying Vlad—not even the queen.
Kinsley Adams likes long walks on the beach, all things chocolate, and sweet little puppies that... wait. Wrong about me, sorry.
*ahem*
Kinsley Adams is a thirty-something-year-old author who stopped counting when she turned twenty-five. When she isn’t writing uproariously hilarious romantic comedies, she’s raising her womb-gremlin with the hopes that he might one day become the world’s first Supreme Leader.
Thank you to Tasha Black for steering me towards a list of romances just for me! I found this Kindle boxed set of the Dating Monsters, Collection 1 by Kinsley Adams of free romances and snatched it up quickly. I mean, who can resist Dracula?
Anna, who is one of those vlogger journalists who pop up everywhere on the Internet these days. Out to prove that vampires are dangerous to humans Anna drags along her bestie Lucy to Fallen; a notoriously known vampire hangout. Stumbling upon a shocking blood orgy, Anna is brutally met by her worst nightmare. Tossed amongst the trash in an alley to die, Anna is saved by a vampire who has been waiting for her for 50 years. Vlad doesn't want to turn the young woman, but he has no choice. It is turn Anna into a vampire or let her die.
Anna seems to understand her new "unlife" but like the nosy vlogger she is, whilst falling in love, trying to continue being what she is, she incurs the wrath of the absolute wrong vamp to piss off.
Thus begins Dating Monsters. Through 3 collected books Anna, Vlad, and Lucy are drawn into the darker world of vampires. They make new friendships as Anna continues to learn more about herself and the world she is part of. Unfortunately, the erstwhile adventures are leading to a terrible Trainwreck and the death of one very beloved by Anna.
I loved the characters. They were written with depth and compassion. The plot was well planned and complex enough to be interesting and keep the reader on their toes. I loved Anna. She is spunky, loving, a bit stubborn, and willing to grow and grow up. She is a great friend although sometimes the consequences are unfortunate. 5 stars, an enjoyable book. I couldn't put it down. This is 3 decent sized books put together to give you Anna's complete story. I recommend it.
Awesome characters, the plot is outstanding, it will grab you and drag you from beginning to end! Not a dull moment in any of these books! It will even make you consider becoming a vampire! There is evil villains, even a Queen, quirky and dysfunctional family members, amazing BFF, even a wolf or two, and a weasel! You get so immersed in the story, you might not tell what is real or fictional! New favorite author and characters!
If you like a story that's almost completely dialogue driven then this is for you. The entire story has the ridiculous FMC commenting on everything ...to the reader?? This wasn't entertaining, it was obnoxious and not my thing at all.
What happens when a blogger tries to blog about vampires? All kinds of strange goings on. Fated mates almost turn into star-crossed lovers. The action & intrigue keeps on. A definite read.
