It took me quite awhile to finish this devotional but that is not a reflection of this book! I simply fit it in between other Bible Studies and daily reading plans . It is not only a beautiful book filled with Jenny's art and the occasional artistic tip, but also daily scripture, meditations, and journaling spaces. There is typically one verse a day so it is best paired with daily time in the word. However, it really does allow space for reflection and a reminder to daily set our eyes on Christ! It is a great quiet time companion and a good fit for those in all stages of the faith.

Jenny's artwork is truly spectacular and her writing is no different. Her paintings have graced my counseling office and provided comfort and serenity for clients over many years. Now, her words speak to my own heart through her devotional, Every Day New. For anyone navigating the intricacies of life with Jesus and needing encouragement or rest, this devotional is a wonderful place to begin.

I have followed Jenny for years, so I was so excited about this book. It's truly a work of art. The devotionals are the perfect length, and the words feel honest and life-giving and full of God's truth. I finish each day feeling encouraged and spurred on. I've recommended this to all my gals, it's THAT good.

Read hard cover as part of a daily prayer/devotional. It is a beautiful devotional filled with the author’s art and lettering/scripture. A great way to start each morning, whether on a clear and sunny day, or for those stormy days. I didn’t find it deep or soul searching, but it was an uplifting encouragement to start each day. Recommend, especially as a gift.

Just like the author’s first book, the imagery is beautiful. The paintings really pop right off the page and it is a work art going through it. The devotionals are wonderfully written and the questions after are thought-provoking. A great read I recommend to all my friends!
