Nice fun sweet story. This is an omegaverse book. When you try to push someone away only for them to be your one. This was a sweet short read. I got everything I needed for this novella. Would I’ve like more? Absolutely, but for how short it was it was a complete story. Writing was good, smexy was ok, could have used more or at least more detail, not many side characters.

Tough bodyguard & spoiled playboy
Teagan is an Alpha for Hire that has lost his boyfriend, Jay, found his fated mate. Whatever, he has work to keep him busy but his assignments are boring. Then comes an offer to be personal guard to a rich playboy, Roderick. Roddy has been going through bodyguards like crazy so getting rid of this one will be a piece of cake. But, he and his father were just shot at so maybe the new guy needs to stick around. This story keeps things at a simmer for most of the book but when the two finally admit their true feelings things go to boiling. It is a fun read with Roddy trying to seduce T and Teagan trying to remain professional. Another fun story by this writing team.

Teagan is an alpha that is hired as a bodyguard for Roderick. Roderick’s first instinct is to get Teagan fired, but that turns out to not be that easy. Then Roderick’s pretend seduction turns into genuine want and liking, and Teagan returns the feelings, and things get interesting. This is a quick story, but it has a lot of emotion, and of course, a great HEA!

WOW!! So Good!!
Well written story and well developed characters! He doesn't believe anyone is out to harm him. But his father insists he have a bodyguard. So far, he has been very creative at losing them. Until this one!

Roderick tried his best but Teagan was too strong against his advances!! But when he finally gave in, it was love!! I loved their banter. Good book!!
