I've always enjoyed the books in this series but this one hit the jackpot in terms of fun. The characters are even more hilarious than usual with outsized personalities and the dialogue hits the zany meter at 100+. The mystery is convoluted enough to keep the reader guessing and the story interesting enough to make the book hard to put down. The best book of the series yet!

This is the fifteenth installment in the series. You do not need to have read the others to be in the loop on this story.

I love the characters. Mariska & Darla are out there. Why when watching a restaurant do they think they can change the menu: much less to the extent that they destroy the restaurant?
Charlotte, Frank and Declan solve the crimes in their town. I love the interactions, twists and turns.

The podcaster, Lulu Trappings, was a character that gets to appreciate those that face true crimes.
I liked the subplots and couldn’t wait for the reveal.

If you like quirky characters with a hometown charm, this book is for you.
There are a few surprises.

I was given an advanced copy of this book and the opinions are my own. I am not required to leave a positive review.

There are some authors that you know when you pick up there book that you are going to be entertained and this author is just one of those. Once again she combines humour with a mystery, that doesn't disappoint. I loved it. I have been a big fan of this series from the start (I would even recommended getting them as audio books) and somehow it gets better and better, as the characters and relationships have grown so has the enjoyment. The mystery was certainly different and with a number of twist, I had no idea how it would end. The author wrote a major plot twist in the last book when she killed off the main protagonist and I wasn't sure she would top that but she did and I am eagerly awaiting the next book to see what changes are in store for the wonderful characters.

Charlotte is called in to help Frank with a new case. The body and clues have been staged reminding Charlotte of another killer, one that she knows is dead. Could the puzzle killer be back? Or worse her daughter? Charlotte knows it's not possible and yet. The dead mans girlfriend is a super fan of Charlotte's or at least the podcast featuring her last case. Then another body is found with a connection to the blogger and Charlotte fears for her safety. Is the blogger the target or her fans? At the same time Mariska and Darla are left in charge of a French restaurant and when the Chief's unusual cookie cuts and knife goes missing they ask Charlotte to help. She makes a startling discovery that will have her and Declan running for there lives.

Charlotte gets pulled into another murder mystery when Sheriff Frank invites her to another case. Bodies are being found in unusual places and the MO resembles the newly deceased Puzzle Killer Jamie Moriarty, but we know she isn't the murderer. So who has started these strange murders? Boyfriend Declan is there to help solve who-dun-it and he has a special question he'd like to ask if they would ever get some time alone. Of course Mariska and Darla aren't going to be left out of the story. They are in charge of running a french restaurant while the owner is away. They know nothing about french cooking so put their own spin on the menu. A great story with lots of intrigue. Who's the killer? You have to wait until the very end to find out.

Great one

Who needs sleep? Stayed up to finish this one and well worth it. Things get real dicey when Charlotte and Declan both find themselves nearly killed multiple times.

While deputized to help Frank with a case, Charlotte pieces together clues with the help of Lulu, another new character, a reporter of murder crimes whom Charlotte met after the circus murders. A new serial killer is on the loose and the number of suspects grows once Charlotte learns about Killer Klub.

One of my favorites.

Nonstop excitement with serial killers galore

This book had so many twists it was impossible to put down. As the bodies piled up, Charlotte followed the leads and helped her neighbor, Sheriff Frank, catch the murderers. It turned out that there were several serial killers who had formed a "Kill Club" of people who admired serial killers. Creepy, right? You'll want to hide under the covers while reading this book.

You can't go wrong with an Amy Vansant book, and Pineapple Podcast doesn't disappoint! The humour keeps the reader chuckling as the clues pile up in this page-turner of a mystery, keeping you guessing up until the very end.
Without spoiling the ending, I will say that it is quite satisfying for long-time fans.
I do miss the original covers, however. The dog doesn't play much of a role in the book at all, yet there it is, front and centre on the cover.

I love this series of books. The characters feel like part of my family. I can just about predict what they are going to do at times. The sheriff is father like to Charlotte ... and her career. He's a good roll model her her. Her friend Declan is a true charmer. I have enjoyed watching their relationship evolve. The mysteries keeps everyone on their toes. This was a fun read! Hard to put down once I got started!!!

A Pillsbury Bake-Off at the Hock O'Bell
This episode is so much fun! This is the fifteenth in the series and they just keep getting better! The pawnshop gets set on fire and all the guns and ammo in the safe room create a Pillsbury Bake-Off, if you catch my drift. Somebody thinks emulating the Puzzle Killer would be fun. And Declan has a surprise for Charlotte. There is not a slow moment to be found!

Who knew doing a true crime podcast would lead to fans forming a killer's club where they study serial killers and then the killing begins. Charlotte is working to help Frank with this new run of murders, but things aren't adding up and somehow the true crime podcaster is pulled into the investigation. In the process Declan's pawnshop gets blown up and the hits just keep coming. More twists and turns than a maze and one surprise after another until the murderers are revealed. Great read.

Fun character, an easy escape

I really enjoy this series. I love the characters. There are times that the main character's excitement over the death of people (so that she has a case to solve, gets to be too much for me. None of the characters seem to be fazed by death, and that seems out of character and unrealistic to me. Once you get past that, the stories are fun and entertaining.

Charlotte is hot in the trail of a new killer. She's worried the killer might be someone who is supposed to be dead. Mariska and Darla are doing a favor for a friend and asked Charlotte to help solve a mystery for them. It turns out tying into the case she is trying to solve. There are life changing things happening. Murder, mystery and romance. What more could you want?

Brilliant fun as always with Charlotte helping Frank investigate a murder, Mariska and Darla get asked to run a restaurant, bodies pile up, bombs go off, and Charlotte gets a surprise from Declan. This series is so much fun and a delight.

well done

I have tremendously enjoyed this cozy mystery series. The characters show growth instead of portraying the same tendencies as other series tend to do. This was a very well done mystery that really kept me guessing. I think this might have been one of my favorites. Happy Reading!

Amy Vansant is a master of cozy mysteries. Pineapple Podcast is a wonderful addition to her extensive library. It is well plotted and well written. I love how she tangles up the mysteries with just enough character background to keep me pulled in. These are all terrific characters. Add in a "Serial Killers Club" and let the mayhem begin.

What a great addition to this cozy mystery series! I’ve loved every one of them and think this is the best yet. There are fun and zany characters, crazy situations, and always plot twists you don’t see coming. Best of all for me is that it’s all done without gore or foul language. I hope the series goes on for at least 15 more books!

Pineapple Port at it's most outrageous

A throw back to the Clown killer is made into a podcast. What comes after leads to more murder and mayhem and a new prospect for Charlotte and Declan.
Great read. Hard to put down!

Book 15 in the series

Charlotte, Declan, and the rest of the crew are back trying to solve a series of murders and not get hurt by the bad guys. A nosy podcaster adds some humor to the story. A great read.

A rollicking read

Belly laughs aside, this is another great adventure in Pineapple Port. Not all the action takes place inside the community, but the quirky characters and all of their activities make for a fun laugh out loud cozy mystery.

Great as always.

Exciting times in Pineapple Port. Will Declan and Charlotte figure out the new killers? Will Mariska and Darla meld French and southern cooking? Just some of the mysteries awaiting solutions in this delightful series.
