Enjoy the 2nd book in the steamy BBW romantic suspense series from USA TODAY Bestselling Author Mary E Thompson.

She only had one night with him. Then she had to disappear.

Jessica had always been the good girl. She did what she was supposed to do, was kind to others, and always put her job ahead of her personal life. Which was why she was still single at thirty-three, even though she’d been lusting over her boss’s baby brother for years. She finally got a date with him, two to be exact. And then she found her best friend. Dead.

Braden thought his firefighter friends were joking when they said his date was on the TV, but they weren’t. Jessica, his Jessica, was wanted for murder? She wouldn’t hurt a soul, especially not her best friend. But she was missing. His calls went straight to voicemail. She hadn’t shown up to work. Innocent people didn’t run.

The only way to clear Jessica’s name was to expose whoever set her up. Without resources and with the entire city looking for her. Jessica didn’t know where to start, but she was willing to fight to find the truth…and justice.

USA TODAY Bestselling Author Mary E Thompson spent most of her childhood wishing she had a few less curves. She hid in the pages of books because her favorite characters never cared what size her clothes were. Now, neither does Mary, and she writes stories that celebrate women like her. Real women who have curves, chase dreams, and find love, because we should all be happy, no matter our dress size.
Mary spends her non-writing time with her husband and two kids, watching too much TV, cheering for her hometown football team (Go Bills!), and hiding chocolate from her family.

Jessica was 33 and single having concentrated on her job even though for years she had been lusting after her boss's baby brother. She finally got a date with him, and then she found her best friend dead and then she knew she had to disappear as she was being framed for it. Firefighter Braden thought his friends were joking when they said his date was on the TV, apparently, his Jessica was wanted for murder. She wouldn't hurt anyone and definitely not her best friend, but then again innocent people don't run. Can they find and expose who set her up that would take a lot of resources. With everyone looking for her she had no idea where to start, but she was willing to fight to find the truth and justice.

I really enjoyed this story which had the dual aspect of the mystery of who killed her best friend and the undeniable pull between Jessica and Braden. I loved the way that their friends did what they could within the restriction on them in order to try and protect her and find the right killer whilst at the same time we had the romance between Jessica and Braden from his doubts about her innocence and the way that they just could not keep their hands off each other. There was a large amount of drama and danger whilst also lots of tenderness. There was also a major twist at the end of the story which I did not see coming. Contains some mature content. If you weren't before you will be addicted to this series now.

This is book two in The F-Bomb : Curvy Vigilantes Series and it is Jessica and Braden's story and omg it is definitely a must read. Jessica is kind, thoughtful, helped other's, worked hard and really she was very excited to have a date with Braden and she couldn't wait to get home and tell her best friend only to find her dead and Jessica became the main suspect so she decided to find out who framed her so that she could get justice for her friend and also clear her own name but she will need to find somewhere to go to keep herself safe while she investigates. Braden couldn't believe Jessica was wanted for murdering her best friend as he knew that she wouldn't do that sort of thing and it was definitely not in her nature but he was concerned when she didn't answer her phone and he couldn't find her but he was determined to help her in any way that he can but how will it all end and will be be able to keep Jessica safe while they work together to clear her name. There are twists and turns along the way and that is what makes this book a real page turner and so addictive that I couldn't put it down and I can't wait to read more book's in this series.

Awesome - this story!
Jessica finds her friend Karly dead with her head smashed in, calling 911 she learns that someone has already accused her of the murder. Her reaction: she ditches her car and phone and walks out to find her friend’s killer on her own.
Jessica gets in touch with her boss Stacey, urging her to keep Raina safe, as her ex might be behind the murder.
Braden, Stacey’s brother, has the hots for her and tries to help her in her quest.
He keeps her overnight at his house, then takes her to a safe house, but every time shortly after they leave these premises the police shows up to get hold of her.
Whose out to get her? Can Braden keep her safe?
This story gripped my interest from page one.
It’s fast paced with many unexpected twists and loads of chemistry between the main characters to offer enough romance though Jessica’s situation is extremely taxing. But the coolest curveball appears on the very last pages … 👍🏼👏🏼.

An intense page-turner where the villain is always one step ahead. Jessica and Braden had one night together. The next morning Jessica found her best friend dead, and everything painted her as the suspect. Braden viewed the world as black and white with no gray areas. That all changed when he spent more time with Jessica. The descriptions made me feel as though I was transported into the thick of things. The characters were well-developed. I enjoyed reading this story.

Another Curvy Vigilante

All Jessica wanted to do was have pizza and a beer with her best friend and tell her about her hot date the night before. What she got was a nightmare when she walked in on her best friend’s body, her head bashed in. Now she’s on the run trying to prove her innocence. Is it even possible? Why is this happening?

Braden was high from his date with Jessica. Then he sees the news that she’s wanted for her best friend’s murder. Does he believe the news or their friends and family telling him she’s innocent?

I received this ARC for an honest review

Jessica arrives at her flat to find her roommate killed and she is the main suspect.
No-one that knows her thinks she is guilty even if she is in the run

Braden is a straight shooter things are either black or white for him there are no grey areas. Running from the law mean you must be guilty. But even has to admit things don't seem right. Maybe maybe there is a grey area.

Love this story I'm glad he didn't straight away jump on the band wagon that she would never do this. Sometimes things seem one way but really it's another.

Another great book in this series, Jessica as had the hots for her boss's brother since she first met him. Brandon noticed her the first time that he saw her, however he tried to hide them. When he finally asks her out, they wonder why they waited so long, the next day her life falls apart. Can they clear her name before she becomes the next victim?.

Jessica has been framed for her best friend's murder. Braden is a fireman who believes in justice through the police, but Jessica knows if she gives herself up, she'll be convicted, she needs to find the murderer.
She's getting some help but the baddies seem to be one step behind, how can she clear her name?

All I can say is “Oh My”. This book is fantastic and hard to put down. From the beginning to the end it keeps your attention and keeps you turning the pages. Loved Jessica and Braden’s story. Even at the end it shocks you, and what an ending! I would recommend this book to all.
