A fascinating look at the history of St Pete told through the lens of baseball. Sometimes a little inside baseball (pun intended) for someone not very familiar with the game and its associated stats, but a great history book for anyone interested in local nostalgia.

A great short book about the history of baseball in St Petersburg at Waterfront Park and Al Lang Field I and II. Written by Rick Vaughn, the former public relations exec for the Tampa Bay Rays. The chapters are divided by the different eras of the story, from the early 20th century to the final game in 2014. A good read for baseball and Tampa Bay history fans.
