A very good book that highlights most of the haunted ghost towns in Nevada. I really enjoyed that the author went into detail about the background of each town before getting into the haunted locations. It really set the backdrop for why these towns are hotbeds of spirit activity. I also enjoyed the brief history of each haunted location in the town as well. My favorite locations covered in this book were that of Rhyolite, Goldfield, Goodsprings and Primm, and Tonopah (creepy clown motel next to a creepy cemetery, F*** that!!!). I really liked that the author included numerous photos of each location that allowed the reader to see these creepy locations firsthand. Finally, the author included some personal experiences in these haunted towns that really added to the story of them being haunted. Hearing her personal experiences with the paranormal firsthand added to the creepy ambiance of the book. My only complaint (and its nitpicking) is that I wish there were a bit more details or stories behind the purported hauntings at certain locations. Too often there were a couple sentences at the end of the spiel describing the hauntings. Also there were a couple locations were hauntings were not confirmed, but the author put them in because of their proximity to other haunted locations (I wish the focus had been on what we know is haunted and providing multiple eyewitness accounts of these hauntings). Despite this, I really enjoyed this book and it was a fun, educational, and sometimes creepy read about the numerous haunted ghost towns across the Nevada landscape. I look forward to diving into more books in the series!
