Here's hoping they take down the Apocalypse in the most deadly of ways!!

A little bit sad closing that last page and saying goodbye to these characters. This was that little bit darker, had me on tender hooks there for a bit wondering how many battles scars they would come away with.

Throughout I always had one contender that stole my heart that wee bit more than the others, and that was always Carter, but now I can honestly say they are all even. I loved how they all carried their own pivotal part in this story, I loved each and everyone of these characters, the storyline, the angst, and suspense always had me sitting on the edge of my seat.

The cult and their minions got what was coming to them and I’m glad our guys and their girl played their part in bringing them down.

I definitely need to really read more by this author because I really enjoyed this series.

I’m so sad to see these characters go. Being on this crazy wild ride with Kacee, Chase, Carter, Seger, and Zepp has been amazing.

Kacee finally gets the closure and answers she deserves after her best friend died. We also learn more about The Apocalypse and much much more. Some things I totally saw coming and others I did not, so that was a nice surprise.

And that epilogue?! Ugh. So cute! I loved seeing a little bit into their future and how far they‘ve come.

If you haven't read this series, go do it now! You will not regret it!

I must have been brainwashed or had a gun aimed at my head bc there’s no way I rated the two previous books 4 stars with a sane mind…

The first 70% of wicked deceit was horrible, with a nonexistent plot, and very juvenile-like behavior from all the characters. The only interesting part that happened throughout the story was the kidnapping, which almost resulted in me giving the book 2 stars...BUT THEN the author decided to surprise us with not one but three extended epilogues & that just completely fogged my judgment so for that and only that 3 stars.

5+ stars!

This book is AMAZING!! Once I started reading it, I just couldn't stop. Especially when I got to part 2! Talk about being on the edge of my dang seat the entire time.

Wicked Deceit picked up right where Tangled Truths left us on that brutal cliff hanger. We see Kaycee and our favorite boys and how they are dealing with the aftermath of Apocalypse's first true attempt on their lives. In this part 1, we still don't know much about who is behind Apocalypse or what their plan is after the car accident. The focus is more on the continuing relationship between Kaycee, Seger, Zepp, Chase, and Carter. There is some hilarious banter between our favorite grumpy boy and the rest of the group that me absolutely rolling while reading it! Just wait until you all get to the Tattoo Shop! The relationship/banter that Aly has written between Seger and Carter is one of my favorite between all the boys and this scene had me laughing so hard I was crying. I could just picture Carter taunting him! The smut throughout part 1 was also ON FIRE. I mean talk about absolutely HOT. Their game of hide and seek will have you reaching into your bedside drawers without a doubt! Even the hotel scene will have you feeling as hot as they probably did in that tub. Aly simply does not miss with the smut scenes!

Part 2 is where it gets REALLY DARK. I don't mean this lightly either. Please check TW's before starting this story! This whole part is so messed up I couldn't even believe it! The suspense of the trials and seeing who and what was going on behind the Apocalypse Society was INSANE. I was so shocked by who the Alpha was! Each chapter in this part I found myself more and more on the edge of my seat, wanting more information and needing to know what was going to happen! The suspense will really get to you! I will say, the wait to find out what was going to happen after all three books is definitely worth it!!!

Finally, the epilogues!!!!!!! I am OBSESSED! These characters have been through so much together and they got the HEA they deserved. Their hilarious banter and undeniable love can be felt all the way to the very end.

While I am EXTREMELY sad their story is over, I don't think it could have ended in a better way! I am excited to see glimpses of these characters in Aly's future projects as well!

Cults & RH & good vs evil, need I say more?

No but seriously, this trilogy took me for one hell of a ride. Was the writing incredible? Not really. The plot and the characters are what kept me around. AND THE TWINS. 🥵

The final book had no business being that long, and I felt like it easily could have been under 500 pages.

All in all, it was an addictive world to get a glimpse of with a quirky and ballsy FMC. I’m glad I didn’t drop it like I was initially planning.

Wicked Deceit picks up where we were left dangling by the steep cliffy of Tangled and ramps up the mystery and danger throughout the book until reaching an amazing end! I’m still absolutely in love with the relationships that Kaycee and her guys have built & continue to build through every obstacle that is thrown at them. I couldn’t help laughing through a lot of their banter, Kaycee’s inner monologues, and definitely her family’s interactions. Those hilarious moments helped lighten the darker situations.
This series has quickly become one of my favorites and I know I’ll reread many times in the future, especially because it’ll always be fabulous to revisit characters who seem like they have it all but also struggle with true real life problems, especially mental health. It’s refreshing to see these things not glossed over, but truly addressed in a way they would be in real life, thank you Aly Beck!
If I could give over 5⭐️s, I absolutely would because the quite original storyline, characters, relationships, laughter, snarkiness, and spice were all top notch! I’m thrilled we’ll get a chance to revisit, in a way, with the upcoming spin-off!

Oh, man! 🙈
This book has eaten my soul. At one point I was laughing with tears and at another I was crying. A carousel of emotions. I don't know what else I could say, other than that it's phenomenal. Mystery, action, a lot of smut, spicy as hell, just about everything I like about a book. I'm glad I had the opportunity to read this series.❤️ I'm really going to miss Kaycee and the boys (especially baby Carter 🖤).
I highly recommend The Apocalypse Society series (Web of lies, Tangled Truths and Wicked Deceit). But in the end, you don't have to take my word for it, get your hands on the books and read them. I'm sure you'll convince yourself. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

This series has consumed me! Definitely a favorite of the year. I am for sure an Aly fan for life!! I absolutely loved every bit of the Apocalypse Society series. There was always something happening and the last book was the wildest of them all.

It picks up immediately after that insane ending of Tangled Truths. I was on the edge of my seat, anticiptating what would happen and it didn't let up the whole book. I felt like I was constantly looking over my shoulder since I didn't know what would be coming next. There were situations that I was unsure of what the ending would be.

I'm sad to let Kaycee, Carter, Zeppelin, Seger and Chase go, but hopefully we will see them again. This was such an phenomenal series and the characters are going to live with me forever.

mixed bag

This is a difficult series to review and I really debated over giving it 2 or 3 stars and maybe 2 and a half star would be better, it is middle of the road.
The good - the plot has potential there is a great story here the idea is excellent
Some of the main characters are likeable.
The bad - the book contains so much repetition and waffle you get frustrated, the main character, thoughts, feelings and ideas where repeated until I just had to jump a paragraph or more when the inevitable repeat’s started this makes the books soooo long. A long book is great if it’s packed with story. Book 1 although suffers with this to a lesser extent it is gripping, and made me want to attempt to suffer the next 2 books.
Characters, 2 of them are given the personality traits of a puppy described as bouncy, enthusiastic play fighters completely opposite to the supposed harsh reality they live in. Their behaviour is completely out of context to the story as it plays out, there is a difference between being an easy going character who steps up to the plate when his family is in need and a character who bounces on his feet clapping like 4 month old Labrador.
The main character is described as a computer genius yet other than removing some photos online she achieves very little with this skill. There is a “hidden code” in the emails magnolia sent her she didn’t notice, yet no explanation why she ignored her friends clear cry for help. The ‘code’ is too obvious for a genius to overlook without a reason put in place. The story felt it needed more research, to replace a lot of the ramblings with reason why no one noticed the deaths the extreme bulling and a break from a car accident verses being pinned down and having her arm broken via blunt force trauma would be noticed by medical professionals, officials being in the pockets only covers up locals no one reports anyone for violent bullying no reports to police, school governing bodies everyone just took it like it was name calling.
The third book is soo long and hits a weird dip half way through I didn’t think I’d make it to the end but I did and I was disappointed. Several questions were left unanswered. If this was the writers first attempt it’s good but who ever proof read really should have advised them to not open up questions if they won’t be answered, to edit the repetition we know their thoughts we know what they experienced we do not need regular reminders.
The severity of the assaults and torture is a bit tedious rather than scary or horrifying often less is often more. And less would definitely be more in this series

So good plot the writing could do with tightening up, characters could do with being aged up to the 17/18/19 they supposedly are.

What a way to wrap up an epic trilogy! Wicked Deceit was our final face off in the Apocalypse Society Series. Though I found it a little slow to take off, when it finally did, there was no turning back. The bad guys were finally exposed, their motives revealed and the ones left standing were brought to justice.
I've seen many mentions of the 'hide and seek' scene that will live rent free in all our minds likely for years to come, well played Ms Beck, well played indeed. I like how your dirty little mind works. It was beyond tantalizing and is going give many people some great ideas.
The series as a whole ticked so many boxes and stands out as one of my favorites for sure. From the 'secret code' hidden throughout book 1, to a fierce, sassy and highly intelligent FMC and the 4 extremely loyal men by her side. If this is what you're releasing as your debut series, I cannot wait to read more. A spinoff? Heck yes, bring it on....

This group really are special little unicorns to each other!!

Wicked Deceit is book #3 in The Apocalypse Society series. Its a dark reverse harem. Make sure to read the authors note at the beginning.

Holy crap, my heart!!!!

We pick up where we left off in Tangled Truths and it's non stop danger, action, mystery, heartbreaking moments, some crazy HOT steamy scenes (hide and seek 🔥🔥🔥🔥) and you might even cry! I couldn't control my emotions at all while reading this!

Kaycee, Chase, Zepp, Seger and my boo Carter go thru so much in this book, and they become so much stronger and their relationships grow so much. Aly gave them such a beautiful ending. That crazy part 2 with all the reveals and twists had me on the edge of my seat and I didn't wanna believe what i was reading! All our questions get answered, everything is revealed, the characters grew so much and I'm so excited for what comes next after that little tease at the end!

Aly has created such an amazing world and amazing characters and I can't wait for more!!

I'm so sad this is over! 😭

This series was such an adventure to read and this book did not disappoint.

The first half of this book was lighter, super steamy but not full of action. Part two though is where it's at! Part two had me on the end of my seat anxiously waiting for all the big reveals!

Now this book gives you the insight into Carter which I absolutely LOVED! I felt like he had the least character growth out of all of them through the entire series. But in part two of this book he really comes into play. I absolutely loved that we got Carter's POV from the turn of events, it added so much to the story seeing his emotions and turmoil for the turn of events.

I absolutely loved the way this book ended. I loved everything about it.
Seriously such an incredible series!

This was an intriguing story featuring a secret cult and crazy bullying, but I was rather annoyed whilst reading for one main reason: the sexy times (and the characters thoughts about sex) interrupted the plot, often, making the whole story feel less important to me. I liked the suspense and the way it was frequently building to possible scary confrontations, but then someone would think about dick piercings or bending someone over and railing them...and all that cool suspense just dissolved. Aggravating. Otherwise, it was cool. I'm sure it's just me being particular again. ✌

This was an amazing wrap up to this trilogy! I absolutely loved this debut series from the author! This book was slow in the action in the beginning but once it picked up it was so good! I was laughing one minute and crying the next! You don’t see what going to happen until it happens. It was so good. Highly recommend! Check TW!

What a wickedly delicious ending to The Apocalypse Society trilogy! Please check TW because this book is darker than the previous two, especially Part 2.

After that cliffhanger ending in Tangled Truths, I was scared to see how much worse it could get for Kaycee and her boys… Thank goodness she always says what’s on her mind (even when she shouldn’t) because I needed the comic relief! I love that her relationship with each of the boys is more than physical fulfillment – though she is filled plenty and fulfilled entirely.

I will miss following the trials of this crazy group of boyfriends-in-law and their remarkable woman. The entire trilogy was an excellent blend of suspense, drama, and sexiness. I highly recommend it!

I finally finished this book. It's one of my favorite series! I like Aly's writing.

Even if I will say this... I really thought that it was predictable, and I knew who the culprit was from the beginning. I honestly did not mind it at all. Aly knew how to capture my attention from beginning to end, and trust me, that is SO HARD to capture these days.

This series had broke my depressive book slump. I enjoyed solving mysteries, and yes, the shock factors were a bit funny and LOL, like SCREAM QUEENS quality type of LOL, but I enjoyed every second of it! That's why I am giving it a higher rating.

The number of times I said "WTF IS GOING ON?" "WHAT THE FLYING F*CK?" and the number of times I got so tilted in the series is just uncountable. It's hilarious to me. I enjoyed this series.

The FMC was totally relatable, socially I mean... not with the men. LOL. But overall I enjoyed the series. I went directly to the next series, which was Second sets! So loved it!

This was absolutely hands down my favorite in the series. The emotions this book had me feeling was something I loved. I was crying, laughing out loud, swooning and fanning myself all in the same chapter. This was the perfect closing even though I never want to leave them. The love these men have for her and what they do to protect her forever is something every women dreams of. If you like over the top protective jealous men and fierce strong women this is the series for you!

I was incredibly happy with the way this story panned out. Book three picks up immediately after that gut wrenching cliff hanger of book 2, and it did not disappoint. There were so many times in the story that had my clutching my tummy with laughter. I'll never be able to play hide and seek the same way again. Tweedle-Dee, Tweedle-Dum, Elf ears and Grumpy are some of the best brother boyfriends I've read in a long time. I adore that Kaycee is neuro-divergent and that she owns it. I love it harder that throughout the series (most of) the satellite characters are accepting of it, and embrace it as a strength rather than a weakness. This series wrapped up nicely and I cheered when the good guys prevailed. The ending and epilogue were beautiful and I'm excited for the cross over. This book was full of adventure, mystery, intrigue, good v.s evil, raunchy hot tubs. over protective fathers and a fair amount of cupcake wanderlust. I highly recommend starting from the beginning because these books are faced paced and all three take place within a school year.

Wow. Just wow. I can honestly say I’ve never been more happy about extended epilogues in my fucking life. I’m still not ready to let Kaycee and her family go, but I’m excited to see what comes next in Bitter Notes! This is definitely the darkest book of The Apocalypse Society. If you don’t believe me just put a fucking heart monitor on while you read it… Trust me, the results would make a cardiologist concerned.

I know that we’ve been putting everything together over the past two books but I swear there’s no way I could’ve seen some of that shit coming. I’m pretty sure the FBI is investigating Aly Beck as we speak because… damn her search history must be WILLLLD. That or they read the book as she was writing it and put her on a watch list. Yes this is a romance, yes it was got as hades, and yes the glimpses into their lives throughout the years following their time at the prep school had my heart melting. But what really knocked this book, this series, out of the park was the plot! Like I said, heart monitors should be required to read this. Wicked Deceit was absolute perfection, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better ending.

Annnnd now onto a more personal note and reason this has become a top ten series for me. (Feel free to leave and grab the book now, I promise I won’t judge!) I remember crying when I read Web of Lies because it was the first time I saw someone like myself as the main character in a genre I read. I always have believed that representation and diversity in books was important but I thought it only applied to the characters ethnicities, cultures, physical disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ representation, etc. Before this series it had never occurred to me that I should be able to read a book that had characters I related to. I was used to not having characters on the spectrum in the books I read. To me that was normal, which I now realize is pretty sad.

I never knew how important it was for me to see someone on the spectrum as a character, let alone as the main character. Throughout all three books of The Apocalypse Society I found myself constantly thinking “I do that too” and words cannot express how much that meant to me. So thank you Aly Beck for writing such an incredible character that for the first time in 25 years allowed me to say “she’s just like me”. I’m truly going to miss Kaycee and her guys.

I’m only giving this book 3 stars because the 2nd half of the book redeemed it for me. Nothing happened within the first 50% aside from sex. What’s the point of making 3 characters computer geniuses if it gets them nowhere? Also, it seems unlikely that 3 of them would possess the exact same skill.

Carter has the same thought-process as Kacee and even copies her ‘breathe in, breathe out’ method. This makes it more difficult to differentiate between them. They almost felt like the same person in a few chapters.

The killer was too predictable. I suspected who it was from the beginning of the first book, but I kept reading in hopes of a plot twist and was disappointed. There were several times I wanted to DNF this book altogether, but I wanted to know who the killer was and if I was right or not. It was weird how surprised Kacee was upon finding out who it was too since everything literally pointed to this mystery person.

There’s a lot of repetition in the book. Like several paragraphs were repeated within the monologue, and even character interactions were repeated. I don’t mind long books as long as they aren’t filled with fluff.

Another thing that bothered me is how unrealistic this book is. There’s only a 20% survival rate of one bullet going through someone’s chest and that’s IF they get help immediately. Carter took 4 to the chest and survived? Very unlikely. Especially considering he didn’t get help immediately and had to walk all the way through the woods. He would have bled out by then.

There was also a lot of misinformation regarding Kacee’s pregnancy. For one, the baby doesn’t kick during active labor. It may move and squirm but it won’t kick because its body is being pushed downwards with its arms at its sides. Labor doesn’t last 48 hours for everyone. My first labor was 12 hours and my longest labor was 16 hours. As smart as Kacee is supposed to be, she should know that. Especially when her sister had kids of her own and one of her boyfriend’s specializes in this kind of thing. The final part is how Kacee said “he doesn’t want to” referring to the baby not crying. If the baby doesn’t cry, it chokes and dies. That’s why doctors will spank the child if it doesn’t cry right away because its lungs are filled with amniotic fluid. Once again, Kacee and her bf should have known this.

I loved the first 2 books, but this one just dragged and confirmed what I already knew. The only upside about this book was the kidnapping and the rest of it was pretty boring to me.

**SPOILERS**

This book is broken up into two parts. There are multiple POV as well. The only issue I had with this was sometimes I felt like chapters were repetitive, even though you are seeing it in someone else's eyes, you already know what happened and what was said. But, this is where all of the fun really begins (and ends) and we have some answers. There is a lot going on, so pay attention.

Because of the accident in book 2, the boys decided that they will move Kaycee into the maze house with Seger, Zepp and Chase. Since Carter is still playing both sides, he only sleeps over sometimes. The boys ended up buying her a gigantic bed so they can all sleep together. Carter & Seger end up getting a dick piercing, and I really LOL'd when he passes out while getting pierced. But this means they are out of commission for a few weeks. Which brings my favorite scene to life, Hide & Seek in the maze, winner gets to fck Kaycee, and Carter has thought ahead with some toys. Zeppelin wins though and Chase has to watch on FaceTime since he was away for Thanksgiving.

I had such aniexty leading up to the charity Christmas event. And with good reason, we find out later that bidders lined up to see Kaycee in person.

Part one ends finding out that Piper is the Alpha, she is also the one who killed Magnolia. They set the maze house on fire and kidnapped Kaycee. Chase is the only other one in the house with her, but thankfully he doesn't has life threatening injuries.

Part two answers more of the "why" questions and worrying about Kaycee and her boys. She got kidnapped because the Apocalypse has been taking bids on how she should die. Carter is still playing his role so that he can save her, especially since he is supposed to become the 4th horsemen. In the first round, they try to drown her and the second they have Hadley fight her and the last is where Carter can finally save her, but he still has to hurt her in order to do it. However, things don't go as planned. Both he and Kaycee are severely hurt and end up in the hospital for weeks. But Kaycee's boys never leave her sides.

Epilouges are always my favorite because I love seeing their future, marriage, babies, jobs, etc. The extended epilouge leads into the cross over about Seger & Zepps sister, River. I had already read Bitter Notes & Sweet Strings but I wish I read this series first. Either way I recommend both.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time! Seriously, from page 1 to the ending, I NEEDED to know what was happening next. Then... Part 2, I'm pretty sure my heart stopped and I gasped for air. This book was amazing and a PERFECT ending to their story!!!!

Book 3, takes off right where Book 2 ends. The Apocalypse Society has officially stepped up their game and are literally trying to take Kaycee and her guys out. This book is full of shear chaos and craziness. Kaycee, Chase, Carter, Zepp and Seger are intertwined in the madness of it all and are still seeking answers. But the Apocalypse has had enough and are ready to end it all.

After truly solidifying their relationships, they are a united front and are more determined than ever. This steamy chaos takes a drastic turn on Part two with a twist that will possibly...temporarily... wreck your soul! The truth of what the Apocalypse is and what they do finally comes forward and I for one DID NOT see it coming.

We get every secret that was hidden, every question was answered, everything we were dying to know during the series finally comes forward and I absolutely love every second of it!

This book is amazing and I literally cringed when I had to put it down (work or sleep; ehhhh🙄🙄). The twists and answers we received were so much more than I ever thought would happen. When all of the craziness settles we are brought with MULTIPLE epilogues that leave you happy and fulfilled with this story!

"I have a fractured face and a broken arm from what they've done to me. But the one thing I don't have is a broken spirit. I'm Kaycee f*ing Cole, and nothing will stop me in my quest for justice for those who can't speak out for themselves"

The steam was off the charts and I think Hide and Seek might be my new favorite game. haha. 😉😉The character growth throughout the series was perfect and the author did an amazing job with these characters from start to finish.

"For the first time in my life, I've found a bad habit I don't want to kick. I want to f*ing consume you every chance I get..."

This is easily my top read for 2022. Hands down. I am so excited to continue with the new series we get a glimpse of in the same world.

*Overall 5/5
*Heat? 5/5
*Dual first person POV
*MFMMM Romance*No MM*
*Twist/turn/shear chaos
*Ends in HEA!!!!!

A potential good series spoiler alert

Well, where to start? The entire series had the potential of making a good book, but unfortunately, the plot and how the author penned the storyline is immature. I am not sure if it is her first book, but it seems like a debut of a first book. The entire plot and storyline are not bad and can potentially be fantastic series. The writing is not excellent. I liked the plot; however, how it was penned was not great. The characters are immature, especially in a serious situation. The phrases do not flow well from one crisis to another. It is fragmented. Some of the conversations in the book are silly and dense. The two characters that I mostly liked were Carter and Zeppelin. The other two, Seger and Chase, were childish, acting not appropriately according to the situation. The author described the lead female, Kaycee, as a genius, bright, and a computer hacker. But she did not resolve much and was constantly in trouble for bad decisions without a plan, and unfortunately, she came out looking not too bright but a horny average teenage female. For example, the sudden death of her best friend’s grandparents and Crowe, the son-in-law, going first to the law's house before the daughter are all red flags, especially when the person is despised.
Another red flag is the clean record; every person Kaycee investigated had a clean record. Also, Addison being severely sick was another red flag for something fishy going on, and it was not hard to relate to money. The bully was over the top, and I found it strange the school was never under investigation. Also, the author did not disclose why the previous victims were murdered. Was it in connection with Kaycee? Why were they targets? Also, Kaycee was receiving emails from her best friend regarding the bully, so why not help her friend? Ok, Kaycee could not hack the school computer from outside, but what about visiting her friend at school? It was clear who the villains were and their roles. It was also shrewdly written how the Veritas, a highly trained enforces, was not able to find the house and was not able to intervene. However, the series reminded me of more contemporary hunger games.

Alright, we pick up right where book 2 leaves off, and Aly doesn’t make us wait too long to find out what happens to the Zepp, Seger and Kaycee. I really don’t want to say too much, because there’s just so many details I can about this book. Aly brings everything together, but it’s not without funny moments, WTF moments…. a lot of those, 🌶 moments too 😉.

My favorite moments:

Kaycee’s inner monologue, basically the entire book 😂. It’s really just at a new level- my favorite moments where at Ruby’s, and they’re all in the booth with Kaycee’s mom. Honestly, I was laughing so hard I had tears coming out of my eyes. She also starts texting the group chat, it gets even better.

Two words: Tattoo Shop. When you’re reading this scene, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about 😂

The crucial chapters:
Towards the end of the book, when we’re in the thick of it, you’ll see Kaycee’s perspective first, and then it switches to Carter’s, and it flashes back a bit in time. Seeing it from Kaycee’s perspective first you see the depravity of it all. When you see it from Carter’s you see it within the society and what else is in play that we won’t see from anyone else’s POV.

This book ripped my soul in two, I was messaging Aly (the author, yes I was messaging her), when I was reading this book! I got to the soul crushing part and just said WTFFFFFFFFF.

Honestly I am so excited I read this series, I usually flip back and forth between dark and lighter RH books. This is one of the dark ones were I needed to keep reading to find out what happens next. There was also plenty of banter, and other moments that kept me coming back. I can’t wait to read other books written by Aly.

Multi POV
FMC- on revenge hunt for best friends 💀. Strong, sassy,
MMCs- 1 is within the Apocalypse Society, the other 3 are helping Kaycee get revenge. They're all great guys in their own way, a little vulnerable, strong, and willing to do anything to keep their girl safe
Tropes: Secret Society, Revenge, HS/Prep School Setting, Heavy Bullying (first book only),
Triggers: Bodily injuries, broken bones, drunk driving, 🔫 violence, 💀 on page, torture on page, violence and cursing

The Apocalypse Society Series is a gripping tale of mystery and deception within the walls of East Point Prep. Kaycee, haunted by the mysterious death of her friend Magnolia, embarks on a relentless quest for justice that takes readers on a rollercoaster ride of suspense and revelation.
From the very first page, the atmosphere is thick with suspicion and intrigue. The protagonist, determined and driven by grief, navigates the treacherous social landscape of her new school with a singular purpose: to uncover the truth behind Magnolia's tragic demise. The book draws readers into a world where appearances deceive and secrets lurk behind every corner.
The narrative is cleverly woven with clues and coded messages left by Magnolia herself (EEEKKK), transforming the story into a thrilling puzzle that engages readers' minds as much as their emotions. Each character, initially painted as a suspect, evolves throughout the story, blurring the lines between friend and foe. The transformation of pawns into kings and suspects into allies adds layers of complexity to the protagonist's journey, keeping readers guessing until the final revelation.
Aly’s ability to build tension is AMAZING, as the protagonist delves deeper into a conspiracy that threatens to consume her. The dynamics between characters are intricately crafted, with each playing a pivotal role in the unraveling of the mystery. Themes of betrayal, loyalty, and redemption are skillfully explored, adding depth to the plot and resonating with readers on a personal level.
This not just a mystery novel; it is a testament to the strength of the human spirit in the face of adversity. As the protagonist confronts her own demons and discovers unexpected truths, readers are taken on an emotional journey that culminates in a satisfying and thought-provoking conclusion.
This series is a MUST READ for fans of psychological thrillers, intricate mysteries and SO MUCH SPICE. With its compelling storyline, well-developed characters, and surprising twists, it is a book that will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very end.

Review: Wicked Deceit.
(The Apocalypse Society Book 3)
By: Aly Beck.
Stars: 5\5.
ARC Copy.

I was so excited to see this ARC copy sitting in my Kindle, but also sad too. I fell so in love with this series and the characters. Kaycee was a wonderful character! I loved her random thoughts, her drive to protect those she loved the most, and just the lengths she was welling to go to. From the very beginning, Kaycee went to East Point Prep for one purpose and one purpose only. To find out the truth about what really happened to her best friend.

In this last book in The Apocalypse Society series, Wicked Deceit, Kaycee and her Men go through so much. They finally find out what's going on within East Point. They finally get answers for everything thats been building up from book one, Web Of Lies. And they FINALLY get there happy ending!
I've never been so happy with a book ending then this one. Aly, you did a amazing job with this series! I loved everything about it. You gave the characters a life of there own, when reading this series its like your a part of Kaycee's journey.

Now in most Reverse Haraems you may not like all the guys within the group. There's always one or maby two who you like above the rest. With this series I loved all four guys. There's not a one who I don't like. Chase, Zeppline, Seger, and Carter are probably one of the best RH groups in book history. Each one helped grow Kaycee into the strong woman she is, and in turn she help them. Especially Carter, he goes through alot of character development within the whole series.

I don't and can't say too much about this series, so please check this amazing series out! Books one and two, Web Of Lies, Tangled Truths are in Kindle Unlimited now!
