Crashing the Net
Dumping gallons of lube on the new kid is just another day at the office for Alexei. He knows exactly who he is: a goalie on the ice, a prankster in the locker room, and a man who knows better than to share his private life with anyone. He’s let people in before and it’s taught him that if he can’t have what he really wants, it’s better to be alone.
Mike is broke, bruised, and covered from head to toe in cheap lube. All he wants is to keep to himself and play for the Ice Cats. What he needs, though, is another matter entirely.

After four years with Alexei, there are things Mike knows with absolute certainty: he loves Alexei, Alexei loves him, and Alexei gives the very best gifts. This Christmas is no exception, though Mike is having a hell of a time figuring out what, exactly, Alexei’s gift is.
Alexei knows his gift this year is going to blow Mike’s mind, but in the meantime, it’s pretty hilarious watching Mike try to figure out what it is. Granted, Alexei does have a lot of surprises in store for Mike this week, and it sure as hell isn’t frankincense and myrrh.

First of all: the narration was great.
I liked the first novella. The second was a weird hybrid. It was partly a Christmas special of Home And Away, and partly a sex scene of Crashing the Net. By the time I reached novella #3 I got bored of all the sex and hoped the story ended soon.

My Audible Review!!! Absolutely love this hockey series and Michael's narration just brings all of these guys to life! His Alexei must be heard by all! Alexei and Mike are two hockey guys with a slight age gap who fall in love and create such a wonderful family of friends and teammates around them! This box set takes you from the beginning through their romance which is very unique! They are just perfect for each other! I highly recommend listening to Home & Away and Poetry in Motion as well to round out the entire experience with all of these absolutely lovable guys. The fun and love that connects all of these couples is endearing and heartwarming and you will become immersed in this world! Oh, and did I mention.. Very Fun and Sexy filled!

The sexy times in this series are 🥵🥵🥵 and very good. It was a little slow to get started but I enjoyed reading as these two got together and how their relationship develops over the years!
Definitely interested in reading the other books in this universe to see some other characters find their happiness!

This book collection is packed with sweetness, kink, hockey, and friendships. Michael Ferraiuolo does a wonderful job of bringing life to the characters with his performance.

So readable, so likeable! Mike and Alexei are a great couple. (and as with Home & Away, I love their apartment/chosen family)
