who else read this after reading “Green Lights” autobiography (Matthew McConaughey suggests it changed his life)
Habits, habits, habits, is what it is all about. Good stuff. A key I learned is that it’s not effective to say my habit is to go to gym each morning, but rather, set habits that set you up for making the gym easier to obtain. For me it’s 1) Go to bed on time 2) Prep my gym back the night before 3) Set my house temperature conducive to getting out of bed by the time I need to get out of bed 4) Put my immediate gym clothes and shoes right next to my bed, so I don’t even think about it. 5) lastly but most importantly (for me) is to do steps 2-4 before the evening, when I’m tired from the day, and can’t get myself to do these simple steps, convincing myself to do it in the morning (which never happens).
