I finished this beautiful book in my garden, while watching the hummingbirds, black capped chickadees, and butterflies flutter about. Each poem seemed to remind me that my purpose here on earth is to love, to see God in all creation, and to be a loving presence to others. Like all her books, her words are rich and powerful, speaking to me as if coming straight from the heart of God.
“Attune your ears to the murmurs Of bugs and birds, whispers Of seeds carried on the breeze…”
I love the way Christine breathes life into the imagery of poetry. So many beautiful collections here, symbolizing everything from gratitude to grief.

“When you proclaim who caused this, I ask you to pause, rest in the dark silence First before your contort your words To fill the hallowed-out spaces, Remember the soil will one day Receive you back too.”
