So... it turns out this series is a direct sequel to an anime that I have not watched. I'm sure a lot of my lingering questions will be answered by the anime. Despite that, I enjoyed this story. The world feels fleshed out (if a bit of a mystery), and the characters clearly have depth beyond what is seen in the manga. The suspense in this story is top-notch, even if the ending is a bit unsatisfying (again with these unanswered questions).
8/10. I'm going to watch the anime, then I'll reread the manga.
Yo, I am PUMPED. The last chapter is titled "To Be Continued" and has plot setup for a sequel, LET'S GOOOOOO. Gosh, I hope these sell well enough to get another series. And then have this and the next one adapted into a season 2 of the anime. I just need as much ID:Invaded as possible. Inject it into my veins.
Overall, I absolutely loved these three volumes. It was just what I needed - because 13 episodes of the anime are NOT ENOUGH! The art was stunning and the characters and plot were just as complex and interesting as they were in the show. I was slightly confused at the end but overall I'm so glad to be able to get hold of these. I wished the show wasn't so underrated.
