Daughter of A Don is the story of Sara King, daughter of the Notorious don, Nasir King, head of The Underworld. This exclusive spin-off revolves around intense drama, crime, suspense and romance.
In Daughter of A Don, Sara is portrayed as a strong, independent woman who navigates the complexities of her family’s legacy while dealing with love, betrayal, and power struggles. The series is known for its suspenseful plot twists, emotional depth, and well-developed characters.
It's HIGHLY suggested to read The Underworld series first.

I finished book two in record speed. My heart aches for Sara, I hope Blush is truthful. I don’t trust him, like he just seems too good to be true. I am loving how happiness looks on Sara, and seeing more of her personality without her family overtaking the story. I’m running to book 3..🥺
This book has taken me through every emotion. A different emotion at every turn. I love how all of the blanks in DOAD were filled in but I’m left once again with so many questions. I tell anyone who will listen that the characters and children of The Underworld stories can never stop being writing. There is so much I’ve learned about Lo. I’m happy to finally know what was implied when it was mentioned that Boss was sick too. I love that Grace and JJ got peace and closure. I especially love the message from God that she shared with him. I need Sara to give Nas grace. Not everything her mother went through was her father’s fault. I’m hoping my suspicions about Blush aren’t true. If Lo took this secret to her grave I’ll be even more lost than I was when Kim said Lo was more toxic than Nas after reading the book. I can’t wait until you elaborate on that.
Look nye, I don't know what to do with myself for real. Twins?? Come on now!! It took me a lil longer to read this because I've been crying and in my feelings the entire time. I felt so bad for A because she never got to meet MY but it seems as if she's embedded in Amirya's soul. Lawd, now I gotta stress myself til part 3 drops. See I'm from waaaaaayyyyyyyy back from the beginning, waiting on the next part of the Connects Wife to drop. I'm not new to this. Blessings
I tried to be patient and read slowly. This book was firer. Each pages as you read you wanted more. I feel like s involved and reading about my family. Can’t wait until the summer.
I liked the book..but it felt like a big build up to just be left hanging.. now Twins? And Najia is just too thirsty..and that alone is suspicious. is Farren Still around or will she pop up too?
This book was fire! Poor Sara ,My hopes for get her amazing ending .through all the ups and downs and roller coaster she make it . I couldn’t believe Grace and her hubby getting divorce . If you haven’t read the book down load now … the saga continues and Nako did it again!
Woooh Nako is always playing with my emotions. Sara is a mixture of both her parents and can make it through anything. I’m glad she found real love and hopefully it stays with her . I felt so close to Lo in this book and actually liked Nas but I don’t know if I’ll continue to feel that way until part 3 .
I been rocking with Nako and I’m TOTALLY invested in The Underworld Series. This book “felt” different. I’m loving Nako’s growth. Plus, she always includes a good spiritual Word that blesses my very soul!
Lord we thank you for Nako writing ability. This book had me crying, laughing, and praying. This book was sooooo good. It was filled with so many Gems. I can’t even find all the words to express how good this book was. It’s A MUST read.
DOD2 gave answers to so many questions. Although Sara's story is being told, Lo will always get a spotlight. She seems to be the only part of her parents' life that the world gets to see is an extension of their forbidden love. Sara is blossoming into the woman Lo wanted to be. Sara healing and being loved on properly. Nasir is stepping into his role as dad with more energy, understanding, compassion and determination to be who she needs. DOD2 like all of Nako's work leaves you holding on to every single word. You will definitely have valuable gems from beginning to end, in true Nako fashion. Another masterpiece delivered!
Again, I’m never disappointed with a Nako production. The way her words glide across the page and make me feel like I’m part of the story is insane! I cannot wait for part 3!
Completely in my feeling this whole book. Sarah has been through so much and you catch help but feel where she is emotionally. I don't how to feel about Grace and JJ. Can't wait on part 3..., I need Sarah to have some true wins in her life.
I believe that I should wait until you finish a series before I start on the story. This right got my anxiety sky high. I don't want to give away any spoilers... I can't stand Nas's wife. I love me some Blush. That was a good story until you got to the end. Until next time.
Nothing like a Nako release to present the reader with the dopest mixture of topics such as faith/soul searching, self transformational healing, betrayal, grief, family and friendship dynamics, and divine lovemaking. It is all there on each and every page and before the reader realizes it. The book has concluded and they’re left to gather themselves until the next release. There’s no other way to describe DOADII than pure literary elation.
All I can’t say is whew chile Jesus be fence. I was floored from beginning to the end. What can I say you never disappoint. Baby I can’t wait until the next book.
Nako, what have you done to me? This book was s good!! I love the way the story was developed between Sarah and Blush. There was definitely love between them and Blush would do anything to keep her happy and demonstrate his love for her. I want Ram one to have a healing and walk again, it appears he has finally found real love. A surprise was Grace and JJ, my Lord! It was good revisiting with Nasir, his crazy wife, Boss, Nya and Sean. This book is well written an enjoyable. What is going on with Managing and "P"? Does P have a son that he wasn't aware of? Nadir needs a new love but Lauren is still in his heart. I can't begin to say anything about that cliffhanger!!! I didn't see that one coming. Can hardly wait to read book 3, come on Summer of 2022.
Nako know she is dead wrong for leaving us hanging like this. I just cannot with her….she know we are like fiends when it comes to all things Underworld. Then had the audacity to drop the kibbles and bits, the bombs and explosives, got us bitting our nails and sitting on the edge of our seats waiting for book 3 to drop. I’m going to tell y’all right now, I’m going to wait patiently for book 3 to drop, as Nako is one of the best in the game, I respect the process, but I ain’t gone like it 🙄, Lol….Job well done Nako, as always.
Sara is so much like her mom its scary! That opening scene made me close the book for a few days. My mind was blown but I got through it. Sara experienced some of her mom's same traumas. She moves about life same as her mom not very trusting of other women. One thing she seem to get though is a good man.Blush is everything for Sara unlike how her dad did Lo.
Whew, Sara's story is a must read. The author definitely has a way of pulling and keeping you locked in on Ms Sara King. Baby girl has been through some things, but we see her gradually put the pieces of her life back together while leaving the past behind and exploring a new relationship. Secrets are gradually being revealed and I can't wait for that bombshell and what Mr Nasir has to say about that. Nas will always be Nas.
Tooo much to explain but my perspective..Sarah is a bad mama jammma and with the parents she has and had..those brains are always bursting with something. Even after her tragic event! Meeting Blush was just what she needed and love the way she protects her mother’s journals! Soo much to unpack and just when I thought Lo has more story to tell us!!!! Grace has done her 1, 2 and she out and on her way to Atlanta. Part 3!!!!
This was a follow up- spin off to the Underworld. I have to admit I did not like this one as much as the other ones. I think for me it is the storyline. Sara’s story just isn’t what I was expecting and now it has been 2 books. There is always a cliff at the end leaving you wanting to read the next book but I felt at times it kinda lingered.
Man that ending made me wanna go back and reread Laurens story, I think I forgot about that, what happened, I can't remember, read all of the series, I'm so mad, but I love me some Blush and hope he gets out. What's his purpose, will he be like Nas or Papa! Waiting on 3.
Nako never disappoints me lol! I love how Sara found true love and I pray that it’s not another setback for her! I can’t wait to see her happy ever after ending! I also loved how Nako brought Lauren’s story line to life through Sara and how Nasir finally met his match through his daughter lol! Blush has to survive please Nako!!! The UnderWorld will never die thanks to Nako👏🏾👏🏾

Sara has been through so much. It was good to see her healing and having more confidence. Nasir is still treating women the same way. I would think he was too old for that. I love Sara and Blush together. It was good to het caught up with MJ daughter.
Can’t believe they wanted somebody to pay for this at first, I would of been so mad if I did. I’m glad I waited cuz this was a disappointment. Nothing happened here but a whiny Sara who always needed her hand held. Blake mama was right, Sara is clingy and very annoying.
It was nice to read Sara getting closer to a HEA sooner in life than even Lo did with Boss.
Her healing arc was so powerful, though I think this same story of her growth could have been told without the traumatic rape scenes. (The rape actually seemed a gratuitous plot device, IMO.)
This was by far another amazing read by Nako! Please don't ever let the Underworld die! These characters consume and encompass you as they weave throughout our lives. I don't want to wait until the summer for the next installment!
