My name is Klutch Zuma. I was the number one graduate from my recruit class. As it turns out, it was just the start of several unlikely number ones I would achieve during my rise through the ranks. In many cases, I was promoted over a host of more qualified individuals based on my survival skills alone. To say that my unusual progress caused a lot of friction between me and my superiors, would be an understatement. Some went out of their ways to throw up roadblocks that would make my life miserable. It only hardened my resolve and made me persevere through the worst they could throw at me. My methods for overcoming the adversities, earned me a lot of enemies. For those of you who are interested in finding out how I dealt with them and my seemingly unending life or death situations, please read my book.
Marc Stevens is the pen name of a retired building contractor in central Missouri. Marc is a married father of two and an avid outdoorsman. His love of science fiction inspired him to start writing.
The story of how Klutch, went from a disgruntled miner, a demolitiions expert to a pit fighter, to a recruit. Then he survived various challenges to eventually becoming a spec-ops trooper. Too bad he made enemies of just about everyone he came into contact with. Fortunately a Troop Master, a flight instructor and a Sr. Troop Master saw potential in him. Still, those enemies accumulated rather quickly and they all wanted to introduce him to the hurt locker.
This was a great story. I thoroughly enjoyed the humorous take on his background it fit Hisense personality in the first of my kind series. The misadventures that defines him perfectly fits his role. I found myself chucking many times at the situations and outcomes he gets into and out of. Well done it's an excellent addition to the series.
Mr. Stevens has got a knack for humor, and it shows in this book. Troop Master is a roller coaster ride through a comedy club of slapstick humor and sarcasm that left me almost crying. Klutch is one of my favorite characters from any universe, and I would like to see more solo adventures from him.
Oh my, what a wonderfully awesome journey with the Troop Master. Funny, action-packed, and full of Throgg butt kicking at every turn. Thanks for a GoodRead.
