From the Pit is unique glimpse into CoS history, the Abbadon grotto's newsletter chronicles harsher philosophies that reflect the influence of Boyd Rice prior to the death of Dr. LaVey. What I found especially interesting here are the different publications and associated names, as this allows for a closer look at the development of the CoS as the world left the Satanic Panic behind.
