Sawyer

As a kid, I always wanted to be an FBI agent. It was probably because of all those action movies with the guy with the government-issued shoes and the shiny blue windbreaker shouting “FBI! Don’t Move!” that sucked me in. The number of times I’ve worn a shiny blue windbreaker or shouted F-B-I? None. Instead of breaking down physical doors, I open virtual ones. Some of the world’s most notorious hackers were taken down by my team.

Nighthawk, the notorious Robin hood hacker, evaded everyone. It was up to my team to find this modern-day pirate, and take them down. Life on a mega yacht pretending to be a billionaire? I thought it would be a cake walk, until Wren Freidman walked onto my yacht. She’d been hired to fix our comms station, but I found myself searching for excuses to keep talking to her.

Nighthawk needed to be brought to justice. I needed to focus on uncovering his identity, yet the only thing I wanted to do was learn more about the woman with the unicorn-colored locs and a supercomputer for a brain.

When the takedown of my career uncovers hidden truths, the pirate’s booty could have my career walking the plank.

Deck Pic is a curvy heroine, modern-day pirate, instalove. Guaranteed safe with no cheating and no cliffhangers! Why not spend some time swabbing me deck!

Ahoy, Me Hearties! Batten down the hatches for we have a doubloon's worth of treats for you!

Flirt club has a treasure trove full of HEA guaranteed goodness bigger than Davy Jones Locker! Whether on land or sea, these loveable rogues are ex-special ops and modern day Robin Hoods with the heart of gold.

Don't boom about, hold on tight! Because you are in for a swash-bucklin' good time!

Most of these are always written in third person, as if the author isn't the one actually writing them. So, I'm going to be a rule-breaker and write it in first person instead. I'm a native Chicagoan, vegetarian, and lover of big words. I randomly burst out into song, and have been known to carry on entire conversations (with those worthy of the challenge) in song lyrics. The same can also be said for movie quotes. I'm quirky, sarcastic, I've been told at times I can be a bit esoteric, but overall I'd rather be dancing in the rain than waiting for the storm to pass.

And I LOVE connecting with people- so go on, hit the "friend" button. :)

I loved this book!!

Now that you have seen my header, I want to say, I didn't know if I was going to finish it because I'm not into computer stuff. Used them for years but not one to go too deep. Even though I didn't understand some of it, I got the gist. It was so much fun to read about the ships, the island, the good and bad guys. There was so much action, right to the end. I always wondered about Wren's tattoo, surprised me. Sawyer was something else, he's good. I try not to go to much into the real nitty gritty because I want others to read it too. Willow's Mea Culpa was an eye opener, never would have guessed about1-4 and loved number 5. This was well worth reading. Written by Cindy :)

Wren and Kai are hackers that operate as Nighthawk, they target really bad guys. They steal funds from ill-gotten gains, from crime and give money to people who need it. They operate in Costa Rica, they work on ships, especially super yachts, and this makes it easy to hack in to the systems on the ships.

Sawyer and Asher are undercover FBI agents, pretending to billionaire playboy venture capitalists. They have been assigned to identifying who is operating as Nighthawk, where they can be found. They find out there is even a larger group involved.

How is Sawyer going save Wren from going to jail?.

Wren and her brother/partner Kai work on super yachts in Costa Rica. It is a very lucrative business, and they have the market cornered. Sawyer is a cyber agent for the FBI and along with his team they are working with the CIA to bring down a cyberterrorist known as Nighthawk. Sawyer and gang are pretending to be big shots on a super yacht in Costa Rica to try and catch a major bad guy and Nighthawk. When Sawyer and Wren meet sparks start flying and soon possibly clothes, however all is not as it seems on either side. Read to see if the secrets they hide will destroy them beyond repair or help them form a much stronger future.

Sawyer lost his heart to a modern day pirate!

I really liked Sawyer and Wren together, they have chemistry that pours from the page, making this a steamy addition to the series.
However it is littered with typo's and incorrect words, which make it very frustrating to read as you try to decipher what the sentence should actually say. For example:
'Her boy was perfection' should actually be 'body' not 'boy'. And '..a leg propped being them' the leg is propped behind them, not being them. There are so many of these, which us a shame as the actual plot and story is great.
I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

Willow Sanders joins the entertaining and original Ahoy, Me Hearties multi-author series, with Deck Pic. A thoroughly fun read, FBI agent Sawyer is posing as a billionaire playboy while Wren is a modern-day Robin Hood-like pirate using her hacking skills to steal from the rich to give to the poor. They duo has scorching hot chemistry from the start, and the caper-like feel of the book makes this more than just an entertaining, steamy romance. An excellent read, and a fantastic addition to this new and original series!

This was a great story about two people who really shouldn't be together but they just work. Sawyer is in charge of a team to find a hacker called Nighthawk. Wren comes in the yacht and Sawyer gets distracted by her.
This was dramatic with lots of action and intense moments. The attraction between Wren and Sawyer is sweet and steamy. I really liked those two.

Sawyer is an undercover agent in the cyber criminal division of the FBI. Now tasked with the locating and catching of Nighthawk a hacker that made quite the wave. He meets boat/yacht mechanic Wren and their attraction and connection was instant. They quickly fell for each other but both of them had secrets and if they come out..... Will their realtionship survive?? Sweet, romantic, steamy, interesting story line at first a bit chaotic written but all in all a great hacker/FBi story with a sweet HEA😍😍😍

Sawyer was undercover to take down a hacker committing cyber crime. He meets Wren and is in love! Wren has feelings for Sawyer but has a bigger plan stealing from the rich and helping the poor, a modern day pirate. Their relationship is hot and steamy from the start. The chemistry is fantastic! There is danger, intrigue, suspense and a hacker mystery to solve. When the truth comes out Sawyer shows Wren he loves her and will protect her and care for her. The HEA is beautiful.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is a short romance between two computer hackers. Wren and Sawyer are on opposite sides of the law. He's FBI and she's a modern day pirate. They have an instant connection that is hard to deny, even when faced with the hard truths. I liked the storyline and thought the characters were funny and sweet, with plenty of sparks between them.

Deck Pic is a great story with a bit of mystery, suspense and good intensions that grabs you from the start as Sawyer and his fellow FBI agents are tracking down notorious hackers.

Wren and her friend, Kai, have moved to the island to with big plans. As mechanics they work on the yachts that pull into the bay, but that is only part of what they do.

Love the characters and how the story was weaved that turn the thieves into Robin Hood Pirates.

HEA
Standalone, interconnected characters

FBI agent/ female pirate
Ahoy Me Hearties - different authors, same group concepts

Sawyer is an FBI agent, tracking down a hacker called Nightingale. Wren is the ship mechanic his team is using to have an excuse to stay in port. She's also someone who gives back to her community anonymously. But how she gets that money is going to be a problem... Will he give up his career for her?

This story hit steam first, then plot. You knew who he was after, but don't know *who* it is until it's too late.

This is an Ahoy Me Hearties Series. This is a love story for Sawyer and Wren. Okay I thought for sure Wren was a working with the bad guys but she was helping others that where not all good but she and her partner where not bad per-say just not o the right side of the law either. I loved how Wren and Sawyer were falling for each other even though they were both lying about how they were.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. An FBI operation that brings surprises and justice as well as romance. Sawyer is entranced by the computer repair person who is servicing the yacht that they are using. Along with their operation, Sawyer and Wren start a relationship that gets delayed as she serves her time before joining the FBI under Sawyer. I loved the twists that were revealed as you read the story.

The work of an agent and an mechanic brings these two together. But some how they happily mesh, maybe too well. Mystery, intrigue and the hunt begins. Who will be victorious in the end? A really good read and story although there are typos, missing words and spelling mistakes.

An intriguing storyline with a couple of surprises that will have you wondering just how they going to get out of trouble. Enjoyed the Robin Hood theme and the flirting banter with the main characters. Would love to see a story about Asher and him finding his own dream woman.

Refreshing pirate story

This was actually a good different take on a pirate story. I wasn't expecting it ans it was really refreshing. I didn't like the ending and the epilogue really. But the story plotline was still really good!
