The seals which have long contained the majority of Buryoku's power, have been shattered, freeing the race of Demons along with them...
With a third Ancient Cavern Beast on the rise, Roy, as the Herald Clan's youngest Sage, is tasked with preventing the rise of a fourth.
Isolated from the rest of his Clan, Roy must lead a mission to the Glacial Bands, traveling through a changed Buryoku in hopes of beating both the Demons, and Beast Factions, in locating the ancient monster.
Although he has advanced to the ranks of the Sages, Roy is not invincible. It will take all he has and more, in order to succeed, and with so much on the line, the humans can no longer afford to lose.
9 books in and still feel like dealing with mostly same enemy and none of them being defeated just more added + mc team seem unkillable & the best parts are when mc is not with Aika they together add the relationship and drama yeah unpleasant reading was funish when was just friends but now not so much. Also constant saying I'm a sage this sage that got me groaning and thinking yeah we get it your a sage don't have to keep going on about it 'rolls eyes' and few grammar & spelling mistakes but not very many.
Now on to good parts read action is good and highly enjoyed improvements mc made in skills and himself was a great read also when traveling with anyone but Aika it was good better when alone but still not bad. Not sure about mc personality at times and belive he broke his ideal by using force to make offers do what he wanted so shouldn't he get backlash for that.?
Hopefully this series ending soon as 10 books soon so would like to see some kinda ending in sight as starting feel like just maybe milking it for book or something. (Like reading book series to end as it's really satisfying.)
Roy’s journey through the belts has been quite unusual
However he has not yet fully tapped into that strength and power, only grazing upon the edges of it. To truly grasp his own potential he will need to let go of the fears blinding him to how far he has already come. Thinking of those he has seen in his level tests only shows how far there is to go to the pinnacle. Geon won’t settle for less and as soon as Roy embraces himself, his Path, and his Ideal; he can take the first steps on a deeper path to Power. As they all grow stronger, Roy and his team will once again clash with Snarl’s Beast team and Dia, still with only one arm since the competition, is fired up for revenge. Hate shows the truly level of insanity and depravity he has fallen to. Ferry and Aika clash over Roy leading to a team split while they are traveling to find the fourth beasts location and what a surprise it will turn out to be. If they all survive!
So many of the stories in this genre drag out the MCs growth or take an entire book to tell about a week, or months worth of growth, but not Aaron. Roy just keeps blowing things up and in ways that are unbelievable but right for the storyline. Some times the names are mixed up as to who it talking or being talked about, but I’m sure that will be looked at. Can’t wait till the next comes out! Thanks for a great read, Aaron!
This book was Great! It was action packed and very creative. The world building is on whole new level, and the plot is unpredictable. The possibilities are endless for this book series and I can’t wait to see where it goes!
I don't really have much to say ngl. The book was a little slow to start but the rest of the book makes up for it. I'm writing this review to encourage the writer to get the next books out quickly! Best of luck author dude
The story progression in this book is good, but there were a lot of errors where characters' names were incorrect/swapped. And some typos. Please add some beta readers (I'm willing)
I enjoy all the advancements and the awesome fight scenes along with some funny one as well. The story has been great to read. Looking forward to the next book.
