“Strip,” he ordered, his voice cold. Danika had mentally prepared herself for this night but being faced with it caused fear to course through her. “Please...” “You either do it, or I call the guards to help you.” Her hands went to the neck of her robe, and she started untying the ropes that held the clothing together. Undressed completely, she allowed the robe to fall to the ground. Her hands trembled, but she curled them into fists. Tonight, she’d lose her virginity in the cruelest way in the hands of the coldest man she has ever known. But she’d bear it with dignity. She raised her chin and awaited his next command. “Get on to the bed.” There was no remorse in his eyes. Only hatred so raw it chilled her.

Princess Danika had to do everything in her power to survive after being enslaved. It wasn't easy since she was surrounded by people who despised her and would go to any extent to see her suffer. Sally, her former personal maid and best friend who battled hard to keep her safe, was the only ray of sunshine in her dark world. But, with the evil mistress on her tail, Danika was forced to fight the most deadly war of all—one that drove her back into the arms of the one man who hated her more than the rest of them, but also had enough power to protect her. King Lucien.
Note: This book cannot be read as a standalone, as it is a direct continuation of the first book; "The Alpha King's Hated Slave: My Slave My Property".
When Kiss Leilani was twelve, she snuck into her older sister's room while she slept to steal one of her romance novels, curious to discover why her sister was always lost in a book. That single act of rebellion created a lifelong obsession.
From that moment, a chronic booknapper was born—one who blossomed into an avid reader and, over time, an equally passionate writer.
For Kiss Leilani, writing has since become more than a hobby; it’s a joy and an integral part of her life.
Just all about other women basically. I tried. I really did after the first book….. now I need to find a book that makes me forget this one. The first one was awesome and did the dark romance part well. This just made me feel dirty
Oooo, this was tough! But, the story was thoroughly captivating. The characters continue to develop and grow. This book ends on a massive cliffhanger. I literally scrambled, literally, to get to book #3 to find out what happened next. I was like, "Oh.My.God, ohmygod, ohmygod," while my fingers fumbled over the keys, trying to download book #3 from KU. I almost dropped my phone. My sleeping husband cracked an I open at me, "What?" "You don't understand. I need to know what happens!" Then he closes his eye and turns over, muttering something about obsession while giving me his back 🤷🏽♀️
Anyways, things are so deliciously bad for Danika. They can't get worse. It's done so well. I'm fully invested. Thus us definitely my kind of book. Much Mike the first book, I think the author dirs herself a disservice by not invested in a proof reader and editor before publication. But, it hasn't stopped me thoroughly enjoying it!
I’m not gonna lie, the second book was so hard for me to finish. Danika just goes through so fucking much and I don’t know why but when I read, I physically and emotionally get attached to the characters and whenever anything bad is happening to them, it feels like it’s happening to me too.
AND BAD THINGS HAPPENED A-FUCKING-LOT IN THIS BOOK!!!! 👹🤬👿
I hate the mistress so much. She can rot for all I care.🙄🙄 I cried so much reading this book and for Danika but with that being said, I 100% recommend this book.😍🥹
Oh my god!!!! This book has so many surprises and the ending was booom , I was dying like no no please no And how he just stood there in disbelief 😭😭😭😭😭 his only thoughts are that he is been betrayed 😔 😭 😭 I hope she can have justice after all she has to endure and now this 😭😭😭😭 I hope the truth will.come out soon and by then hopefully he will be able to forgive himself after what he did 😞😞😞 This book got me on my toes seriously 😳😳
This is definitely the hardest of the three books to read because as I said in the first review, there are lot of really horrible things done to Danika & others. Many of the things from the first review apply here. The thing is as more backstory is filled in, the more you can understand where the different characters are coming from.
Once again a star was deleted for writing, lack of editing and poor grammar.
This book made me feel uncomfortable in some places and that was a job well done BECAUSE they were trigger warnings and I decided to not pay them so much attention xD
