Elektra Natchios is the baddest assassin in the Marvel Universe, but some of Mighty Marveldom's best creators are going to challenge her like never before. Including a CAN'T-MISS tale from none other than industry legend Paul Azaceta, and co-starring a certain Man Without Fear!
"Split" by Ann Nocenti & Federico Sabbatini - Long time Daredevil writer Ann Nocenti comes in to deliver a story about Elektra in an insane asylum, where she's locked up with another Nocenti favorite (and created) character. Story was kind of bland I have to say, and Sabbatini's manga-esque influenced artwork doesn't really fit the vibe well either.
"With A Passion" by Paul Azaceta - A short, almost poetic story about Elektra's bloodlust. It's the best of the bunch here easily, and Azaceta's expressionistic artwork is truly gorgeous. Reminds me a little of David Aja's work on Hawkeye, but even more stylized with the emphasis on minimalism. Great use of reds throughout too.
"Weapons of Choice" by David Pepose & Danilo Beyruth - An Elektra vs. Black Widow/The Red Room story. Action packed, but not much else going for it. Fairly forgettable story overall.
