Pine in the Tale is a collection of eight stories about people and place of the highlands of Himalayas in Uttarakhand. The stories explore the lives of the pahadis (highlanders) in various settings, whether a banker yearning for some me-time, a domestic help doting on their son; an army man compelled to return to his roots or simple village folks lured by city-the temptress. Each story promises a window into the pine scented trails of the Himalayas.
