Vure de Kecci has done it! He rose from the shadows of a ruined barony and war captivity to become a city lord of an independent nation. But now that Vure has tasted moderate success, he desires more: vengeance against his parents' murderers, locate his missing half-sister, and deal with his ever-growing enemies. Thankfully, Vure's abilities are expanding exponentially to match his ambitions. And so, he must defend with Cut+Paste!
This story is inspired by "Living in this World with Cut & Paste," a Japanese light novel by the late Sakuya (Tsugikuru). However, the characters, plot, and world setting are wholly new and original.
Please note that this 130k words fantasy novel contains LitRPG/Gamelit and harem elements, as well as enslavement, cursing, graphic violence, and explicit sex scenes. Reader discretion advised. Also be aware this volume is the SEQUEL to Dominate with Cut+Paste! and this story makes multiple references to the previous book.
Okay first off I was really really enjoying the series. I found it to be a fun tale and a enjoyable wrong through a beautifully written fantasy world. But oh dear God the ending! It seems rushed poorly considered and frankly a little insulting to those of us that invested in reading this. I sincerely hope this is not the end of the story, because if it is I'm going to be extremely unhappy with the author.
I am conflicted about this book as I liked it but it just left me wanting more as the end just left me with so many questions. The ending just felt rushed and contrived with several huge plot holes in it that left me wanting something more to happen to let me know why this happened.
It is without direction. It just meanders along with no real story. The conflict is without merit, it just sort of happens because nobles. I'm still going to keep reading, but that is just because I find the whole thing rather fun.
I really enjoyed getting to read more about Vure and his adventures but I gotta be honest, I don’t like the end of this book. Desperately hoping for a continuation.
