Feral Ice by Ann Gimpel - I'm starting out with this book as I've loved everything I've read by this author, and I wasn't disappointed. This is book one in a series and the world building is well WOW. The characters are terrific; bigger than life, not from this world, gorgeous, smart; others are in the wrong place at the wrong time, stubborn, but finally willing to take a chance to save humanity and who knows, maybe some love. Bad men get what's coming to them, and evil in a form that'll make anybody squirm. All this in a land of ice, cold and unknown wonders to behold. The rest of the series is going to be amazing.

I selected the collection of paranormal authors based on my favorite author Tasha Black being apart of the anthology. I have now found several "new to me" authors I will be following. All but two of the books within the book are complete stories (with hints of more stories in each author's series). Such a fun collection with stories of shifters, vampires and more. Bravo!!

An absolutely wonderful set filled with some great authors. I enjoyed finding a few new to me authors along with a few that I already love. While there were only a couple of stories that didn't hold my attention; most of the stories in this set instantly grabbed my attention and held on until the end. I especially enjoyed reading "Kiss of the Winter Moon" , "Awakened By Fire" and " Feral Ice". Filled with shifters of every kind from wolves to bears to dragons it's guaranteed to find one to your liking and many enjoyable hours of reading. I read an Advanced copy in Exchange of an Honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

What a fantastic collection of shifter must reads! So far I've only had the chance to read two: one by V. Vaughn and the other by Tasha Black, but I can't wait to read the other awesome authors' works! I highly recommend this to adult fans of fiction & will update this after reading more!

Awakened by Fire, by Erin Kellison, is actually book 2 of her Dragons of Bloodfire series. Although part of a collection, this novel can be read as a standalone also without compromising the story or the characters. It is a good tale, filled with dragons, politics, danger, intrigue, subterfuge and romance.
Hunting Season, by Kate Rudolph, is a great tale of fated mates. Stasia's strength in the face of danger and the unknown is remarkable. Filled with werewolves, danger and romance, this book will keep you up reading late into the night.
Bound by Blood, by Tracey H. Kitts, is a good introduction to her writing style and her Bound by Blood series. Overnight, Nicole's world is turned upside down by two hot guys and an ancient family curse.
Claiming His Chance, by Ellis Leigh, leaves you breathless as Cahill and Trinity fight their way to be together in a ruthless underground fighting arena. But Trinity is already supposedly Piers's mate, so how in the name of Fates could she be Cahill's? And how was he going to survive long enough to find out?
In He Ain't Lion, by Celia Kyle, Maya and Alex's one night stand turns out to be anything but when his lion demands that the pretty, little human is his mate. Come along on this wild ride as the Prime vows to make the Prima his forever.
Cross, by Elsa Jade, is an age-old tale with a sci-fi twist. Can true love exist between extraterrestrial beings? With cross's help, Tyler's new matchmating app just might work.

Axel mistakes her for the new nanny he is expecting from the agency he hired to help him care for his infant son. When she discovers that he is a bear shifter and he learn of her con games, will their tenuous relationship go up in fireworks or will true love really concur all?
