Alien Adoption Agency #12

Jace: Alien Adoption Agency #12

Rate this book
This grumpy soldier wants to guard her life, but she only wants to guard her heart.

Jace’s glorious career as an Invicta warrior is cut short when he is assigned guard duty for a tiny alien baby. Just because he’s a glorified nanny for the frustratingly irresistible little bundle, doesn’t mean he has forgotten his duty. But when the baby’s adoptive mother shows up, his heart and libido are both thrown into a hurricane of need swirling around the little Terran.

Susannah is leaving her home world to find peace and love by adopting a baby. She expects the two will live alone on the frontier, far from any man she could inadvertently fall for and harm with the curse that was placed on her years ago. When she finds out the achingly gorgeous and dead serious guard who delivered the baby will be living with them, she isn’t sure how she can resist their mutual attraction.

When strange things begin to happen on her land, she and the burly warrior will have to work together to solve the mystery and keep baby Zeke safe. And every dangerous situation seems to wind her up in his arms.

Jace can tell she’s desperate to resist him. But his frantic need for her weighs more and more heavily on his heart.

If they want to start a life together, this serious pair might have to find a way to lighten up.

If you like strong women, sexy aliens, wild adventures, steamy sensual scenes, and happily-ever-afters, then you’ll love the world of the Alien Adoption Agency!

Binge them all now!

Flojísimo, lleno de giros y cositas, pero mal desarrolladas.
Creo que me voy a tomar un tiempo de descanso con esta saga, ya que los próximos tres mucho no me interesan.

Simply riveting read with wonderful characters, great scenario you’ll love
Susannah had left everything behind to travel to Han-2 and adopt a baby and begin their life together as a small family with their own small piece of land to farm, a small home was also given to he and her child where she would live and raise and love the baby who up until now has had no family of their own.
When she has to jump out of the space ship to reach her baby for someone terrified of heights it had been a huge challenge but to reach her infant, she was prepared to do whatever, even wearing the completely impractical purple silk dress and shoes as a sign of her deference.
When she lands, she finds an Invicta warrior, she is overcome with joy and cannot wait to begin life with her son as his Mommy. However, she is very surprised to discover that Jace would be guarding his charge until the age of twenty and it is obvious that baby Zeke has become his Daddy.
Zeke is surprised at the female landing in a purple silk gown and shoes, she is supposed to be arriving to care for the whelp as his mother and to farm the small holding that was part of the agreed inheritance for the infant. Also, as he starts to help Susannah, he realises that his dragon is trying to tell him that he has found his mate, he is not sure how she will fee about him and his dragon.
As the three of them begin their lives they realise that their family group is being watched by someone? There are also gifts of food being left on the porch but who he has no idea?
As the story opens with their exploration of the land, they have a great deal of things to consider both with the curse Susannah believes prevents her having a relationship and with their land that is believed to be haunted. This is such a wonderful read you will love every moment of this simply wonderful story and once you begin reading will not be able to put this book down until you reach the end.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

The Alien Adoption Agency series never disappoints!
The third of the intertwined Han-2 trilogy within the larger series, Jace features the last of the three adoptive Mothers introduced at the beginning of Troy. She had adopted a baby and come to this frontier moon both to move away from her family, who made choices she didn’t agree with, and to have a family while avoiding the curse she believes hangs over her head.
Unfortunately for Susannah and her intentions in coming to Han-2 to be mother to the adorably serious little boy named Zeke, she didn’t know that her new son came with his own Invicta guard. And Han-2 is already a fertile ground for ghosts, and monsters from nightmares and fairytales, and curses. And while Jace doesn’t believe in ghosts or monsters from children’s stories, or curses, a curse is a hard obstacle to overcome in order to claim his mate. Because they arrive at their new home to word that it’s haunted, as well as to an offer to buy from a developer who owns the next property.
I loved Susannah, Jace, and Zeke’s story. It’s such an adventure, even though most of the exploration is more in what they believe and feel than truly action-packed. And the mysteries that they do encounter are very cathartic, because Tasha has done an excellent job of bringing both Susannah’s journey and the world-building she’s laid for Han-2 full circle by the end of Susannah’s story. Although I’ve loved the journey on every one of the four frontier moons featured in the four mini-trilogies featured in this series, I’m seriously looking forward to the spin-off series that continues to follow the lives and loves of the Invicta warriors tasked with protecting and raising these precious Imberian babies! Alien Adoption Agency—Inner Rings book #1, Jhon is upcoming!

Jace & Susannah

Secrets. They both have them. He knows immediately that the woman he is to guard with the child is also his mate. Knowing Terrans aren't as open to that he keeps it quiet until he finds the right time. She has a personal secret she doesn't want him to know--it is about how she is different from what most think about Terrans.

Traveling to their new home ( at least for the next 20 years) they learn a lot about each other. His attraction is reciprocated but she can't allow herself to follow through. Her secret is a curse that keeps them apart until they fear the danger could pass on to the baby. Is it a curse or something else that poses the danger?

The big strong dragon warrior has a kind sweet side as well. Will she be able to resist? He has promised to let it be her choice -- will he be able to keep his promise.

Another touching story with secrets neither knew about, steam, a love story of adults and family, and danger. This will end this chapter of the Alien baby stories with an end to make you... read to find out until the next series begins.

I love this series and what was so exciting I actually thought this book, Jace, was the last one. But I see there is more to come and could not be more excited Jace is a dragon shifter and an Invicta Warrior. His assignment to take care and guard a newly born child. Generations before Jace is people had annihilated the planet of peaceful people and now they are bringing them back through birthing pods and DNA they had, thankfully. Now these warriors were to guard these children and their new mothers. Susannah had not planned on having this gorgeous warrior by her side for the next 20 years, but only after a few minutes on the new planet she was glad he was there. Their adventure is exciting, fun, mysterious, and mostly trying to gear up for the romance that Jace knows will be. Susannah is his mate. Really good book and the ending was perfect. New friends on a new planet, with love and family.

Jace #12 09/28/2022

Susannah has been dropped off with two others to receive her baby that she has adopted what she didn’t know was she also gets a tall green invicta warrior for the next twenty years because he is to protect the baby until it matures. Because of a mistake the Invicta warriors did many years ago. She has been given land and a small stipend to mother the child. Jace is a very serious person but he will do his duty and protect the baby and his new mother. But soon his other half lets him know she’s his mate now he just need to convince her. But she thinks she has a curse on her. But there is trouble concerning her land. So enjoy another very good story about these remarkable couples!!

What's a dragon shifter/Invicta warrior supposed to do, when he not only meets the mother of the child ,he has been raising and protecting, as well as his fated mate? Jace was Zeke's protector, as well as father figure. He was completely blown away by Savannah, the child's adoptive mother, from the moment he and his dragon 1st met her. But she is carrying a secret and a curse. She is hopelessly drawn to him but is she willing to put his life at risk, when hers is cursed? Another wonderful story in the Alien Adoption Agency series by Tasha Black. How can you resist a swoon worthy hero as well as his fabulous mate to be?! Fabulous!

Susannah has studied, left her family, home and planet and travelled far to become a mother to an orphan. Jace and Susannah are brought together when he brings her adoptive baby, her Iberian son, to her. She immediately falls in love with her baby son. Jace is a great Invicta warrior and he is tasked with protecting the baby for twenty years. So where the baby goes he goes. The baby has also imprinted on Jace. Susannah almost immediately realised that Jace loves him like a father but has not recognised it yet in himself. Susannah finds herself attracted to Jace but knows nothing can come of it because she is cursed. Very heartwarming story.

Enjoyable short read!!

I enjoyed this quick read that continues in the Alien Adoption series. This can be read as a stand alone, however a lot of things would make more sense reading the series. The characters are delightful and these Imberian babies are a dream come true. Jace and Susannah have chemistry and the antics are entertaining with him not getting jokes. I love some mysteries that were solved in this one from the others but I won't spoil it! Great series and the ending always makes you smile!! These are easy reads that just make you fell good!

A Dragon soldier, a woman with a curse, and a baby. An alien moon with its own secrets. All of these elements are brought together to make book #12 intense and playful, romantic and warm. Each of the books are standalone stories but the series is fun when read in order or in groups of 3. And the purple dress is a hoot.

I received a free copy of this book via BookFunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Jace & Susannah's romance was absolutely wonderful. Rich feels, deep emotions, huge heart and seductive swoon are plentiful and delightful. Toss in some drama, a bit of danger and a twist or two and you have yourself another totally terrific entry in this simply wonderful series that never fails to melt your heart and leave you with stars in your eyes. So sad this is the last book in this series but I'm excited to see what comes next. I am posting an objective review of my own accord.

This is the first book that I have read by Tasha Black, and after reading this one I would certainly read more. It's one of those books that is light, entertaining and hard to put down. I feel like the main message of the book was about preserving nature for future generations. The main characters, Jace and Susannah, are good together and sweet with their adopted baby boy.
I was happy to be given an opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Loved the ending

This one had the cutest twists and turns. Who knew the "empty" firest would be full of people. The horrible bulldozer having Suzannah's family's company name it so far from home was a twist. Guessed the necklace Zara gave Suzannah to "protect her from the curse", as expected was just an ordinary necklace. Sounded like Suzannah was the only decent one in her family. But the necklace finding 2 lost relatives was a perfect end.

This is a winner! This alien romance is very captivating, heartwarming, intense, suspenseful and steamy. Jace is a gentle giant aka dragon and Susannah is a compassionate warrior, great matchmaking. Enjoyed their adventure, entertaining discoveries and challenges, as they get to know one another and explore the mate sync. I received a free copy and voluntarily chose to leave this review.

This is the last and maybe the best book in this series. It has lots of action and is unpredictable with steamy romance. Both Jace and Susannah have an immediate and strong attraction to each other. Then Susannah always has the "curse" to think about. But she couldn't resist Jace. They make it through all their problems and have their happily ever after.

Curse?!?! What curse???

Susannah this that she is cursed to find no love. Every time she gets close to someone, bad things happen.
Jace is an Invicta warrior and his job is to protect Zeke, an Iberian baby, until the child is 20 yrs old. He didn't realize that he would meet his mate.

Jace: #12

I love these Alien Adoption stories. Each are a little different but still have the same basic ideas. The Aliens have been raising the child since birth and protecting them. For their reward they find their mates. Not only do they have a child to start with, they get to have their very own little Alien with a mate they love

captures smiles

Tasha Black’s multicoloured aliens are among the very best of alien book boyfriends. It’s easy to lose yourself in the romance and excitement. Jace is one of the easiest stories to relate to as a reader, and that little extra at the end makes it even better.

I love the way Susannah refers to Jace as Zeke’s dad and her reasoning. She’d love him to be a part of her family if it wasn’t for the curse. Curse or not, danger certainly follows her and those around her.

Really good story in a nice quick read

The female is very relatable, the male is kinda strange. Through the trials & triumphs he becomes more enjoyable. This is a really nice, eco-friendly, alien Dragon romance.

No curse can conquer true love.

I really liked Jace and Susanna. Their character development went really well. The only thing I questioned was giving baby Zeke to someone they only knew less than a day. But that's the nature of the story I guess.

I absolutely adored Jace and Susannah’s story. Of course he is a dragon warrior trying to atone for the mistakes of his people, she is a woman cursed and throw in a cute baby on an alien moon and you have yourselves an adventure in the making. Will Susannah be able to resist the mate pull?
