Alien Ruler Needs a Nanny

Rate this book
He’s in charge of an entire planet, but only she can rule his heart…

Ba’shir Kreed is a hardworking single dad who also happens to be the leader of a planet of two billion souls. He is used to dealing with any issue that comes along. But he knows he’s got real problems the minute he lays eyes on his kids’ new Terran nanny. After all, the palace publicity team gave him only three rules for dating: No one too young. No one from off-planet. And never, ever, ever hit on the help. Falling for sweet Yasmine would mean breaking all three. But Ba’sh has always been a bit of a rebel. And the more time he spends with Yasmine, the less he wants to follow the rules.

Yasmine Hall has some unhappiness in her history, but she’s excited to set her eyes on the future and her new gig as a nanny for the most powerful man on the planet. Thankfully, energetic Pia and soft-spoken Jax are amazing kids. And their father may be intimidating, but something about the way he talks to her makes Yasmine feel seen for the first time in a long time. She’s just starting to feel like she’s connecting with them all when her past suddenly catches up with her. She may have thought she landed an incredible nanny gig because of her work with the elderly on Terra-17, but it turns out the life she vowed to leave behind was front and center all along.

When danger arrives at the palace, Yasmine may have to choose between protecting her peace of mind, and defending the family she has come to love. Will Ba’sh give in to temptation, even if it means breaking all the rules? Or will Yasmine put her principles ahead of her own happiness, and run before she ever gets the chance to follow her feelings?

If you like strong women, hunky aliens, wild adventures, steamy sensual scenes, and happily-ever-afters, then you’ll love the world of Alien Nanny Agency.

The amount of secondhand embarrassment I got from this…and NOT in a fun way.

Yasmine and Ba’sh’s instant connection made this novel fast-paced and low stakes. Despite Yasmine being responsible for caring for Ba’sh’s children, the children didn’t seem to feature as much.

Politicians give me the ick, so Ba’sh was on thin ice before I even met him. I didn’t hate him, but I didn’t really like him either. He was just kind of there. He was a fine father, and he certainly was…a leader.

Yasmine seemed to be a contradictory character. We were told she kept her cool in stressful situations due to her military background, but she sometimes read as childish and obtuse.

As soon as Yasmine grabbed the headpiece, I was begging her to put it down. While Ba’sh didn’t have to insult and accuse her like he did, she reacted pitifully. She decided she was going to quit before she was fired, which fair, but then she spent the next day moping about how much she’d miss the kids and how Ba’sh wasn’t “interested in her like that” even though Ba’sh apologized and begged her to stay.

This was a quick read, and I enjoyed learning a little bit more about the world. The connection to the couples in the previous books was a nice addition that has been present since the first book.

Ba’sh and Yasmine – What a wonderful story! Yasmine was hired to be the nanny to Ba’sh’s two children, Jax and Pia. She falls in love with the children immediately! Jax is on the quiet side and very introspective and Pia is the complete opposite!

Ba’sh has his hands full being the ruler of a planet and needs someone to watch over and guide his two children…but he wasn’t expecting to fall in love with the nanny! But Yasmine is more than just a nanny…she’s smart, courageous, thoughtful and helpful and she loves his children, which makes it easier for him to love her.

He knows he’s not supposed to fall in love with Yasmine (those pesky politics) but her personality and just who she is draw him in and he just can’t help it. She makes a faux pas by wearing the headdress from his deceased wife, not knowing that’s what it was until it was too late. Ba’sh becomes very angry and spouts words he cannot take back. Yasmine looks for a transfer and requests a new nanny be sent for the Kreed children. Her heart feels like it’s broken… And Pia doesn’t understand why she has to go! Yasmine wishes things could be different and she could “un-do” what she did, but sometimes you just can’t go back.

But before the new nanny transfer can happen, Ba’sh discovers Yasmine really didn’t know and tries to make amends. I liked him even more for owning up to his mistake and trying to correct it. He knew it was going to take a while to get back in Yasmine’s good graces…and that he may have to grovel!

In the meantime they travel to Pirn on official business and the people are very angry with the Ruler. But Yasmine convinces him that the people just want him to listen to them and so he does. They determine the need for a medical complex and Ba’sh is able to get the ball rolling on that, with Yasmine’s help. The people of Pirn are very grateful for her insight and make her the intermediary between them and Ba’sh.

Jax finally gets up the nerve to tell his father what he wants to do besides play sports…thanks to Yasmine encouraging him to talk to his dad. Ba’sh listens to him and Jax becomes almost a different person…he’s happier and more carefree! And after that revelation, Ba’sh decides he’s going to have to lay his heart on the line to get Yasmine to believe that he really does want to be with her!

I love a happy ending and this book fits the bill. I’m enjoying this series tremendously! Another winner for Tasha Black! I am looking forward to the next book in this nanny series!

Great addition to series, wonderful characters and a simply riveting reading
Yasmine had been surprised when she was contacted about taking on the position of Nanny for two children that are living with their father Ba’shir who works hard trying to ensure that the planet of Ulfgardia where there are a mixed community of aliens living together.
When Yasmine arrived and met Pia and Ajax she could see that they needed someone in their life that would help with stability and consistency of caring for them as it was obvious they missed their mother and father as his time was taken up with managing his world and trying to improve life for the inhabitants.
Ba’shur os drawn to Yasmine but knows that his every action is watched and judged and he has already been warned about who he should date, that he should also continue marrying again.
I guarantee that you will love this book and the characters and the storyline and will be like myself and once you start reading unable to put book down until you discover the outcome.
I do not want to spoil the plot so will say no more about the three of them, I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

This is the third book in the Alien Nanny Agency series by Tasha Black. Ba’shir Kreed is a single dad, a widower and the ruler of a planet. He needs a nanny for his children. Yasmine Hall works for an elder care facility when she receives a phone call to be a nanny for the ruler of a planet. Yasmine has no experience with children, she served in the military and worked with the elderly but the job is too good to pass up. After a short training period she meets the children and the ruler. The children are well behaved and Bash is just yummy. Yasmine starts off great but then does something wrong, the Ruler is very angry with her, the press went crazy but Yasmine is not sure what she did wrong. She was just trying to make Pia feel better about misplacing her hat. Where there once was sparks there is now heartache. There is danger in the palace, will Yasmine be able to protect her charges and the man she has feelings for? Will Yasmine be able to forgive Bash for the things he said to her? Will Bash be able to convince Yasmine to stay with him and his children? I loved this book! The characters are amazing and they all have background stories that have affected them deeply. This is an original story and a great read.

Yasmine & Ba'shire

This author never disappoints providing a life lesson in a great story. This time we have a planet leader, two great kids, some super cool security guys, and a soldier turned nanny. Everyone falls for her including the leader who shouldn't care--she's young, an employee, and Terran. The Terrans are not in the same class as the planet's citizens.

The kids need someone like her. Unfortunately, a cultural misstep creates questions about her suitability. Will she recover her status? Will her refusal to be armed add to her limitations?

This one is touching, with an adorable four-year-old girl who will steal your heart, and a young teen with problems any boy his age can suffer. Will Yasmine be able to get through to him? Will her lesson about stereotypes help the children cope with their issues as not just kids but kids with a very important father?

Wonderful story, amazing characters, heat, and lessons learned. Thank you, Ms. Black, for the reading enjoyment.

I really enjoyed this book. You cannot escape your past forever no matter how hard you try. That’s what Yasmine tried to do, but a new job opportunity that she was told was specifically for her and she was perfect for the job. No background being a nanny, but she would love the job and the money was going to be great. So off she goes. She is a nanny true the leader of Ulfgard. Ba’sh knew he was in trouble the moment he met the nanny for his two kids. She was beautiful, and kind. They hit it off immediately. As the book goes on and find their relationship has so much to over come. The one thing Yasmine really knows is that she loves the children, and she is very good with them, and very protective of them. I guess her background as a soldier has become useful. Really good book, the story line flows so well, and the relationship with the children and their father, and with Yasmine really helps the book and helps to understand the family dynamics. There are some secrets, some surprises, some teenage angst, and more than anything there’s a romance and a happily ever after

Wow! Beam me up Scotty! ... I want my own Millionaire Alien, too like Ba’shir! <3 ... What can I say, when every new book released by Ms. Black blows my mind & tops the previous 5 star must reads! ... “Alien Ruler Needs a Nanny” is the 3rd page-turning story from the fantastic ‘Alien Nanny Agency series’ runs the gamut from the H/h being alone & lonely, to finding their true love. Add in 2 precious children to the mix and it rounds it all out! ... Steamy romance, mystery, and action plus fun, happy & sad times but it ends in a HEA!! ... Hurry, don’t wait to get your paperback now, or to preorder an eBook 😊 You won’t be sorry!! ... Even tho I always volunteer to read this author’s books prior to the kindle release date, I also buy kindle books whenever I am able to. So yes, I can honestly recommend this & any book by Tasha Black, to Adult fans of fiction!!

Of all the many Tasha Black books I've enjoyed, this is my favorite. ❤

I'm pretty sure that Tasha Black is an alien--no, she's not an illegal immigrant!--though I don't know she got to Earth. How else to explain how she is able to write one book after another without a single dud and without reades becoming bored? See? She is obviously a very gifted alien who has chosen earthlings to be her beneficiaries. This particular book made me wish I could live on this planet and know all of the characters written about. Their Ruler will accomplish wondrous things together with his beloved by all new wife and the respected citizenry. Maybe they could even do away with all the superfluous, self serving politicians and their stupid followers... hmmm... 🤔 Anyway, I'd love to read more about what happens on this planet.

Could NOT Put It Down!

Ba'shir is the ruler of a planet and needs a nanny. Yasmine retired from the military after an experience that left her with nightmares. She decides to take the nanny job for several reasons. She loves both Pia and Jax who are Ba'shir's children and she also has feelings for him. Ba'shir didn't think he would ever love anyone after his wife died but he finds he has feelings for Yasmine. Will they let misunderstandings and danger come between what could be a new family? Great story and just a bit of steaminess. I read this story in one sitting. I could not put it down! Tasha has a real gift for writing because her books always leave me feeling happy after reading them.

I absolutely loved this one! It's hard to describe just how good this book is, except to say that your heart will be fully engaged through the whole thing. You'll feel a deep connection to these characters as they try to cope with painful pasts, prejudice and mistrust. Their journey is at once heart-wrenching and beautiful. And, this personal growth occurs despite and because of the action, fun and romance Ms. Black weaves so expertly throughout this book. Have you ever stopped reading in your Kindle to highlight text? Some language stops you in your tracks because it's just that good. I've never done it before myself, but I did it several times in this book. That should tell you something. You won't want to put this one down!

Bash, as the ruler of the entire planet, faces challenges that no ruler has faced before because of his species. He needs a nanny to help him take care of his children and that’s where Yasmine comes in. Yasmine didn’t sign up to be a nanny but when the opportunity falls into her lap and the stipend package is just too good to pass up. The children of love her but she makes a couple of cultural missteps and it all falls apart and Bash is furious with her and questioning her suitability as their nanny and her place in the household. Will she recover and keep her position? What will happen to their budding attraction to each other after this?

Find your center

What an amazing story! The author really drew me in with the emotional roller coaster the characters went on. Not just from their own trials, but from the town they are helping to find hope. She was able to make each character full and robust with a unique personality that was all their own. I especially enjoyed how we caught a glimpse of the previous leading men and the support they gave to this growing family. This book was fantastic, with highs and lows, and every emotion in between. I enjoyed every minute to the HEA, and I can’t wait to read what happens next.

My favorite among the series. I love the characters and how they complete each other.
I have this "OH NO! OH NO! OH NO NO NO NO NO! Moment" and I think its every other
the reader felt when Yasmine unknowingly wore the first wife's circlet and how Ba'sh
handled the situation. I felt the pain.
But like I wrote from the 2nd book review,
this is my Hallmark movie. And Hallmark movies always have a happy ending.
Tasha worked her magic to mend what was broken.
And the proposal guys! The meaning behind the ring! It was beautiful. *chefskiss*

On the side note: I love the new Hide and seek rule which Pia taught Calipha. (^_^)

In every one of these books the women all start out as nanny's. To families They learn to love. They teach love They learn to believe in themselves. And they teach the family to believe in themselves too. There is misunderstandings There's heartbreak And there's happily ever after. Put in all of these books It teaches each person How to understand and help 1 another. And isn't that what everybody needs That's what makes these books beautiful and Well written. I Recommend you start with the 1st book in the series And read every book to the last. You can't go wrong it's very well written And beautifully done .

Another incredible story in this series! Yasmine agrees to be the nanny for Pia and Jax and she finds herself loving those children quickly and also she feels an attraction to the ruler Ba'sh. Ba'sh also feels the attraction to Yasmine but he initially fights the attraction. There's a few unusual circumstances that come into their lives like Yasmine mistakenly wearing what she thought was Pia's hat then the crazy gardener. Yasmine is able to bring out the best in the children and also Ba'sh discussions with a local town. This author is able to make you feel the emotions of the characters in her books. There is a very happy ending for all!

Simple, quick, and fun, with erotic undertones, this short novel was an easy read. But I made the mistake to read it right after another book of the same series. Unfortunately, with nothing read in between, the formulaic nature of this book became apparent. Both books blended together, as if it was a repeat of the same story. Only the names changed.
I will read other books by this author - I do like her - but from now on, I'll make sure that there is a sufficiently long interval between her books, so I could forget the plot of the previous book completely before embarking on the next one. I think 6 months should do the trick.

Ba'sh is the widowed ruler of a planet. Yasmine is the "nanny" sent to help him out. Good with his kids? Check. Trained? Yes, bit in combat, not kids. Things were going well with both the kids and Ba'sh, until she made a major faux Pau, that she was unaware. Now, will he trust her again? Will she run? Or is Ba'sh willing to become the hero she needs and dhow her how he feels? Another fabulous book in the Alien Nanny Agency by Tasha Black! Swoon worthy ruler meets his match and fabulous partner in this otherworldly tale!

Alien Ruler #3 08/10/2022

Yasmine is working at a retirement community when a agency calls her to offer her a job of beefing a nanny, but she doesn’t know anything about raising children. But the free room and pay would be great. Once there she finds she likes the kids and the job isn’t so bad. But she must stay away from her boss. And after a few mistakes she has been put in her place and plains to leave but everything is going to change. So enjoy the read and see how things will change!!

I love these Nanny series!!

I love these Nanny series!!

I have read all of this series and think they keep getting better as the series adds books! The kids are great and heartwarming as is the nanny. I like how things unfold, there is a lesson to be learned and a moral to the story. Yasmine is a down to earth person and trying to figure out her life. Ba'sh is an alpha male trying to be a good ruler and father. The way things happen seems realistic and as always there is a happy ending. Loved this one and the rest of the series!!

Couldn't put it down! Yasmine is great, full of strength and love. I think she's someone that everyone can relate to on some level, I love her optimism, frankness and how she clicks with this family in all areas of their lives. Very pleasurable opposites attract that clears the way for exploration of an insta-love and an even more successful kingship. I received a free copy and voluntarily chose to leave this review.

Amazing!!

This is my second reading of this series, once wasn't enough!!
Yasmine has a past that haunts her wherever she goes. She is even on a new planet, but the nightmare is still with her.
Ba'sh is the new ruler of the planet. He is, predictably, a busy man. His wife was one of those lost trying to protect the planet. He has two children to raise by himself.
Yasmine becomes his new nanny and both of their lives are changed forever.
Another "must read" from Tasha!!

I love it! I am a little short on time. I will say that if this is your kind of thing, read it. You won't be sorry. I've had a lot of fun reading this one & the the ones before it. I am already opening the other one. It has a some laughs, some spice & a little bit of kid love you feel when a little one hugs you for saying a kind word to them or just giving them a cookie. It's a good one to read, the whole series is.

Rulers Rule!

This story stands alone, but having read the first 3, I enjoyed catching up with other characters. The Women is a truly unique story that affected so many. I cry each time a memory/story is told. Yasmine and Ba'sh work well together. I loved Pia's energy and Jax's teenage-ishness.

a most beautiful romance

Reading this story plucked at my heartstrings, made me smile and even shed a few tears. Tasha Black always shines in romance and this time was one of her best ever. Yasmine and Ba’sh were the most appealing characters, finding love and acceptance. There’s also social beliefs that were addressed. As always a lovely blend of life!

The pieces fit

This unit of people were meant to be together. Not only do the Ruler and the nanny compliment each other as a pair; but the nanny makes the kids feel more secure so they can talk thru their problems and get help dealing with them. The nanny also has the skills to protect but true caring for those around her. She worked surprisingly well with the security team.

I loved this

This was a really interesting story to read. The story was richly laced with a little intrigue, and the story of how the characters learned about themselves. All the characters developed into much more interesting characters, as the story progresses. I love this series.

Retired soldier to a nanny

This is a story about a retired soldier with PTSD get a surprise job offer as a nanny. She knows she is unprepared for such a job but she is also ready for a new life. This character is so honest, loving and upfront. She is articulate and poised. This is exactly what this family needs. Well worth reading.

loved the story

“Why?” she asked. “By coincidence, just about ten years ago, Ulfgard piped public water out to Pirn when the mining started to foul the local groundwater,” he said wearily. “It improved health and hygiene and made people’s lives easier, too. But it happened to coincide with the uptick in lax mutations.”
