She survived the terrors of the Nazi Regime, the bombings, the starvation, the American and Russian occupation, and became a child smuggler at age 11.
Throughout the war, Eleanor felt there was Someone invisible who was watching and protecting her. She found peace and safety by imagining she was sitting on His lap... listening and feeling the warmth of His arms around her.
She returned to the USA alone at the age of 13, overcoming every obstacle to graduate with a magna cum laude bachelor’s degree, become a successful business entrepreneur, and marry scientist Dr. Robert Isaacson.
What joy to find later in life that God had been that invisible Someone, her spiritual dad with a purpose in keeping her alive. He allowed all the pain and suffering of her life to draw her to Himself.
Since Eleanor began sharing her story in her book Dancing from Darkness, readers have begged to know more about her encounters with God. They too want to know how they might get to know God in such an intimate and personal way.
