Society ended and so did my world. Nightmares fueled by the fear of losing those I care about
We escaped the Eights and turned the tide only to find that they weren't the only danger. Ryder was mine, but hints about the others in his close circle at the top of the club makes me wonder if he thinks I am just one of the club girls to be passed around. Expect the unexpected in this thrill ride made up of twists and turns.
Sons of Anarchy meets Walking Dead in this motorcycle themed post-apocalyptic reverse harem adventure! This series is full of steam and dangerous sexy men. A wild ride that is not for the faint of heart and contains adult themes that may be triggering.
Read straight through, I was connected with Jazzmine and Ryder and both installments were both well written , action packed and may have some severe triggering issues as fa r as rape scenes and violence, The story lines flowed effortlessly and with heroine kicking some serious ass thorough out the book allowed me to love this book even more.
"Storm" is the second book in the "Nomad Kings MC" series and I'm still enjoying the storyline. It has the psychological components of "The Walking Dead", but with a faster development of the story (and more spice). I've always had a crush on Daryl, and this is basically a series with a lot of Daryl-like characters, and a woman who can (ultimately) have them all :-D. Interesting things happen to these characters, and I like how they are an MC looking after so many kids and defenseless people they meet along the way.
On the other hand, I'm still having a hard time with the fmc whose emotions are all over the place sometimes. There are times where I like her, and times where I don't. It does break the storyline for me, even though I wish it wouldn't. I'll probably pick this series up again later, or check out some other books by this author's second pen name to see if those characters are a better match for me.
I enjoyed the book. I was able to read it rather quickly. Unlike the first book which I thoroughly enjoyed as it had all the makings of a RH but this book gave me more of a m/f vibe with a side of hot friends to flirt with. I am hoping that the 3rd book actually gets them all together and Ryder is not her only interest. I love that the 3 other men in this group are totally loyal to their woman and worship her and treat her like a queen. The intimate scenes in this book were definitely better than the first book and I would love to see them all get together in the next book. No real cliffhanger at the end just anticipation to see if they all get their happily ever after in the next book.
I thought the first book was alright. Some grammatical errors and problems with the story flow. This book though … I made it about halfway before I just couldn’t do it anymore. There’s so much wrong with it story line wise. Things that happened in the first book that carry into the second book that just doesn’t make sense at all and it’s never explained. The characters personalities took a nose dive. There’s a lot of repetitive parts. A lot of fluff to make the book longer it seems like and less actual story.
A Storm is coming with her guys the Nomad Kings and the people they protect. But is it enough when the world is still falling apart. Good book but I enjoyed the first book more.
