Gun Gentlemen (Annotated): A Pulp Western Adventure

Rate this book
Lucky Bill has the reputation of a natural battler, but he is not a cold-blooded killer. Then Bill finds himself on the wrong side of the law, and plenty of greenhorns and gringos set their sights on collecting the price on his head. But Bill refuses to turn tail and run. He swears he'll clear his name and live a free man before he'll be hunted down like an animal.

Typical fare from Max Brand - a man is wanted by the law even though he’s been set up and finds unexpected allies.

Actually reading a book with this cover, not to be confused with his book ¨Gentle Gunman.¨ A man offers to bring in a girl for a pal so they can marry. Events change as there is a gunfight between the two and things end up at a creepy house hoping no one will find them. There's a surprise concerning someone's progeny. I read the large print.
