The film is absolutely incredible. It sparked a joy in me I hadn't felt in a long time. The story here was great, with small insights of Suzu's thoughts from quiet moments in the film.

The only reason for the rating is that the English translation is very literal. I'm sure in Japanese it's a more eloquent story with better flow and description.

It was absolutely worth the time and read though! ♡

This was amazing how it kept everything I'd seen first in the movie. Basically, I was reliving it again but in my own imagination. It never got boring, too detailed or anything. It was perfect!
