Morgan Grandin and Ryan Carter were what some would call frenemies'. Anytime they were in the same room one of them would best the other one in an argument and Ryan would think he always one it. Morgan had a lot to say about that. And then one night at the Halloween masquerade ball, a conversation was overheard by both of them by Morgan’s brother and Ryan’s friend and they thought that a passion filled one night would get whatever was really going on with them out of their system. Little did they know that one night was going to have a big impact on their futures. That one night would have consequences in about eight months. One wanted to get married and the other said no way....Who would win this argument?

I loved this story from beginning to end. Jules Bennett gives us to of her best characters in Morgan, who was so independent and would live her life how she wanted it, and Ryan who was the ultimate rich rancher who would so anything for his family, or the family he wanted to grow is thriving ranch. He wanted an heir to leave it all too. The passion and the chemistry that these two characters bring to the pages of the book are just what the reader wants. The story line keeps you wanting to see what will happen with Morgan and Ryan next. Will Ryan convince Morgan in a month to change her mind. You will also get a wedding at Christmas with Morgan’s sister, and lots of happenings around Royal and more of your fav TCC citizens. Who is next to fall in love in Royal, TX...

I was given a copy of this book for my honest review.

Terrific enemies to lovers story. Morgan and Ryan have known each other for years and can't be in the same room without finding something to argue about. But underneath their antagonism is a simmering attraction neither wants to admit. Then the night of the TCC Halloween ball (Cinderella Masquerade), each overheard a conversation about the sparks between them and decided that one night together would get it out of their systems.

This book starts a month later with Morgan's discovery that she is pregnant with Ryan's baby. She is shocked and overwhelmed by the changes facing her, but she knows she wants the baby. She also knows she must tell Ryan, which won't be easy. Despite their agreement that they were one and done, she hasn't been able to stop thinking about their night together, so she has avoided him. Fate being what it is, Ryan chooses to stop by Morgan's store that day to ask her why she's been dodging him. Like Morgan, Ryan hasn't been able to forget that night either.

Ryan immediately notices something is wrong because she won't look at him. He is persistent and finally gets her to confess that she's pregnant. Ryan's first reaction is that they get married. This goes over like a lead balloon, as Morgan has no interest in marrying anyone. Even though her siblings have all found love, Morgan believes that so-called love fizzles out more often than not. While Ryan proposes marriage, love doesn't enter into it. He was burned years ago and has closed off his heart. He wants a family to pass his ranch on to but prefers a more practical relationship. Morgan is adamant that she will not marry him, while Ryan is determined that she will. He challenges her to move into his home for a month, and if she can walk away at the end of the month, he'll let her go.

I loved watching the relationship between Morgan and Ryan develop. Morgan knows she's risking heartbreak by moving in with Ryan, but she does it anyway, determined to show him she is right. Ryan is equally committed to showing her how good they can be together. Neither can deny their attraction, but Ryan plans to resist the pull. He wants to convince Morgan without using their attraction to overwhelm her objections. For a man who has put love behind him, Ryan has an amazingly romantic nature. I loved his effort in caring for Morgan, making her feel at home in his house, and showing her what they could have together.

I enjoyed seeing Morgan do her best to wreck Ryan's control over his attraction. She wants to enjoy every minute if they're only going to have a month together. Once she succeeds, she realizes that she's made things harder for herself. Between the intimacy and his attention, her heart is in serious jeopardy. She finds herself wanting more than he's willing to give. Can she show him that love will make both their dreams come true? It takes nearly losing her for Ryan to realize she's had his heart all along. I loved his big moment at the end and seeing him open his heart.

The series arc involving Heath Thurston's claim against the Grandin and Lattimore ranches advances significantly in this book. The final report from the private investigator is in, but Heath refuses to take the information lying down. His book is next, and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens.

One Christmas Night is the eighth in the A Texas Cattleman's Club: Ranchers and Rivals series but can also be read as a stand alone. Morgan Grandin and Ryan Carter have had a contentious relationship in which they bicker every time they see each other. But after one night of too much champagne at the masquerade ball leads to a steamy one-night stand and lasting consequences, they must decide where their relationship is headed. Ryan has been burned by love before so he steadfastly refuses to fall in love again and proposes to Morgan a marriage with no emotions involved. Morgan sees her siblings happy in love but isn't sure she will find that kind of happiness. Ryan is pushing for marriage and gets Morgan to agree to move to his ranch for one month to show her the life they could have but as the two spend time together, feelings grow. The story that follows is filled with a range of emotions and how far they are willing to compromise in order to have the life, legacy and love that they both want. This is a beautifully written story with great characters that will have you cheering them on toward their happily ever after.

I received an advanced reader copy from the publisher but all thoughts and feelings are my own.

One Christmas Night is an enemies to lovers trope. Morgan and Ryan have always had a sexual tension. Thats caused them to bicker with each other. One night at a halloween masquerade ball. Passions erupt and their lives are about to change forever. When Ryan finds out about the pregnancy, he insists Morgan come live with him and they get married. Morgan refuses as she doesnt want a
loveless marriage. Ryan works hard on his ranch and wants nothing more than a family to leave his ranch too. He thinks they would be a good match together. He manages to convince Morgan to stay to stay at his ranch for a month. Hoping to convince her to stay for good and marry him. Morgan thinks it will be an enjoyable month and then she will walk away. I really enjoyed Morgan & Ryans story, as they worked through impending parenthood and the path to happily ever after.
One Christmas Night is also part of the series Texas Cattleman's Club : Ranchers and Rivals.
This book can be read as a stand alone. Highly recommended for fans of contemporary romance with a bit of passion in it.

One Christmas Night by Jules Bennett is the eighth book in the Texas Cattleman’s Club: Ranchers and Rivals series. Morgan Grandin and Ryan Carter were friends, if you could call it that. They constantly squabbled back and forth until one evening turned into an unexpected pregnancy.

Immediately Ryan insists that she marry him. He wants a family to carry on his legacy. She just wants to carry on. When she refuses his proposal, they compromise on her living with him for one month. Will they learn to get along in his home? Will he break down her barriers and convince her to marry him? Can Morgan recognize that Ryan wants a family and truly has feelings for her?

One Christmas Night was a fantastic book that I highly recommend. I received an advance copy which I chose to read and review. This is my honest opinion.

I always love reading a story in the Texas Cattleman’s Club series. I appreciate a good enemy to lover storyline and really enjoyed this story with Morgan and Ryan. When Morgan tells Ryan that she’s pregnant, of course he proposes marriage but she wants nothing to do with that. They eventually come to a compromise with an ending date of course but we’ll see what actually happens at the end of their time frame. I lost count of how many times Ryan asked Morgan to marry him but with their arrangement feelings are starting to change at least for one of them. It was nice to see the other one step up and admit their feelings. I loved this book and this couple and really enjoyed how the book ended for them. I’m also intrigued to see what happens in the next book which is Heath’s story.

Morgan and Ryan were quite the pair. These two were constantly bickering with one another but after a one-night stand, they realize not only do they have feelings for each other, but they also have a baby on the way. After Morgan tells Ryan about the pregnancy, he wants her to move in with him at Yellow Rose Ranch and make a life with him and their baby. Morgan adamant that she doesn't want to get married, but she agrees to a month on the ranch that changes everything for the both of them. Lots of sparks popping off the pages and a wonderful HEA! I love the TCC miniseries it's nice to read other authors collaboration to the series!

Ryan and Morgan had a one night stand and now Morgan is pregnant. Despite mostly arguing all the time, Ryan wants her to move in and marry him to raise their family together. She agrees to a one month trial.

Loved this story and how these two come together and find happiness. Being a TCC book though, there are a lot of characters and an ongoing story that is not resolved in this book. It’s ok as a standalone for our main couple, but loose strings in the grand scheme of the series that I have not read any others. I kind of wish there had been an epilogue to see how the couple ends up.

Thanks to the author for a review copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

At least 5 star story. Morgan and Ryan were constantly at odds with each other.. One night, it exploded and they slept together. Then it was awkward between them. When Morgan found out she was pregnant, Ryan was happy about it and wanted to marry her. Of course, Morgan wasn't on board with that at all. As they got to know each other in their new circumstance, the chemistry got hotter. The story was great and I loved all of it

I got this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review

Pure perfection! The next installment of the Texas Cattleman's Club: Ranchers and Rivals series has Jules Bennett taking her reader along for the ride on an enemies to lovers turned surprise baby trope that will delight all. The characters are easy to like, their banter is amusing and their passion is spell binding. I enjoyed their story so much!

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that enjoys a whole lot of drama mixed into loving families as crisis after crisis comes into play and has to be handled as one sibling after another finds their true love.

Morgan and Ryan are soulmates but did not know it. Neither believed in love. Ryan had been hurt just before his supposed wedding . His heart would never open to love again.
After a one night stand a surprise baby. Ryan wanted to do the right thing and get married. Morgan did not want to settle. He convinced her to live with him for a month. He was attentive, caring, thoughtful, and much more. Morgan fell in love with butRyan could not say the word. With her gone can he go on? He needs to tell her the reason he can’t love but doesn’t.

“One Christmas Night” is book 8 in the Texas Cattleman’s Club Ranchers and Rivals miniseries.

After their one night together, boutique owner Morgan Grandin and rancher Ryan Carter have to decide if they are more than the passion they share and if they truly want to create a real family together.

Jules Bennett gives us a wonderful enemies-to-lovers story filled with sizzling chemistry that we expect from Harlequin Desire.

This is my favorite book of the Ranchers and Rivals series! I always enjoy the Texas Cattleman’s Club books, but this one just had something extra special.

Morgan & Ryan are “classic enemies to lovers” with their constant bickering that’s more like foreplay!! A surprise pregnancy takes things to a whole new level.

The beautiful cover draws you in and the writing keeps you. I loved sassy Morgan and Ryan. I am a sucker for a story at Christmas time. I love the vision of a big ranch house and a big tree and lights. I loved that he did that for her. I may have teared up a little but Jules brought it all around and wrapped up the story with a beautiful bow.

I enjoyed reading this story, but I feel I would have enjoyed this story more if I had read the other books in this series first. Morgan and Ryan had a one night stand and that night resulted in a baby. It was fun watching Ryan try to convince Morgan to marry him while he was trying not to fall in love. Morgan was a modern woman, but still a country girl at heart. This was an easy read and a good story.

Morgan and Ryan have bickered for years. One night changes all things.

Ms. Bennett brings the surprise pregnancy to a new level. Ryan talks Morgan into staying at his house for a month to get her to change her mind on marriage.

I love the twists and turns she takes them on are wonderful.

What a delicious book! Ryan and Morgan have great chemistry and the potential is great. It is said the line between hate and love is very fine. This is so true for these two characters. HEA is quite appropriate for these two strong fiesty characters.

Love…who defines what love is? Could love possibly be every day actions that you do for someone you care about? Is it more than this? This book in the Texas Cattleman’s Club series is a sweet holiday romance with Ryan and Morgan as they work through what love means to them.

Another wonderful book by Jules Bennett! It picks up right where the last TCC book ended. Morgan and Ryan had been at the masquerade ball. Morgan's brother and friend were talking about Ryan's crush on her and Ryan was her about her crushing on him. they left the ball together and had a hot night. Fast forward to Morgan taking an important test and than having to tell Ryan. His solution is not one she is for. But they compromise and she promises to stay with him for a month to see what they could figure out. While together she is making her mark on his home and he starts doing things for her that he never would. See Ryan was burnt by love once before and he doesn't believe in it anymore and Morgan really doesn't either. Can they come to love each other and make a home or are they doomed to not be happy? This story is written so well. The characters jump off the page. Their love for each other is evident for the reader before they themselves figure it out.

On other news we finally find out about all the oil rights that Heath is trying to take from the two families!

Pick this book up! You will not be disappointed as it catches you from page one and doesn't let you go til you get to the very last page.
