Hell yeah!
I’ve been wondering about these two since we met Frankie in Hook and Paula’s book.
They’ve been dancing around each other, bickering, for well over a year, in the series timeline.

It was so freaking satisfying seeing them get together and learn from each other finally.

We also got to see the rest of the crew, too, and that’s Always a fun time.
This time, Santa’s sister, Blue got everyone laughing their ass off while she tortured Santa damn near to tears.
And there was some psycho ex things going on that gave a little variety in the action they see, that I really appreciated.
We got some small answers about the overreaching plot with the drugs and trafficking happening in Tenillo that finally made some things make sense.

We also got some new shit popping up, and a mention to a couple different book series. One of which I have a feeling is a bit of foreshadowing. I mean. I really hope it’s foreshadowing, and I really hope Kitty’s book is next and that, that foreshadowing little tidbit and the new shit are connected….
I’m sure none of that makes sense, but if you read it…well no. It probably doesn’t even make sense then.

Whatever.

Im just excited to see what’s next and who gets added to the coven next.
I fucking love these characters.

Santa and Frankie couldn't be more different, so it was interesting to see them end up a couple. I liked how Frankie was there for Santa at the start when he was so confused at the why of what he was doing. Later I liked how Santa manipulating things so that he could stay with Frankie more. While things were a bit rocky at first, they quickly settled into a routine where they got to spend time together and get to know each other better. I loved how often food was involved, food each of them were familiar with and wanted to share with the other.

Things got a big crazy towards the end, but Frankie, along with the coven, were able to take care of business and the guys were there to clean up things. I also loved seeing Santa in NYC. He could appreciate it, but still can't wait to get back home.

The latest installment (as of May 2022) in the adventures of the Time Served MC has arrived. Ms. Bowerman continues to serve up a nice little slice of life in Tenillo, Texas. This is a character-driven story that lets us see what the Crazy Coven has been up to, as well as members of the Time Served Motorcycle Club. Boss, the president of the MC and chief of police, and Cuffs (of the Ares Infidels MC) are busy weeding out the criminal element – within the police force as well as the town - that had been allowed to thrive during the previous police chief’s administration.

We are also given an update on the progress the MC members are making in rooting out the source of tainted drugs and human trafficking that still occur in Tenillo. Busy little town! I wonder if Tenillo is near the 1,250+ miles of border Texas shares with Mexico, and situated far from the 28 legal border crossings…?

The mystery continues and deepens as a serial killer stalks townsfolk. Initially, it appeared that the killer was after the bad guys, but events occur in this story to make us (the readers) think otherwise. This book is well crafted and includes a satisfying ending with a well-deserved Happily Ever After (and yet we still want more).

Santa and Frankie are leather and lace; they are the perfect ambassadors for that phrase. She is indeed what Santa has nicknamed her, “Big City,” and he is indeed a southern boy. His other nickname for her, “Hince,” is perfect, too. I won’t spoil it by mentioning what it means. It drives Frankie crazy until Paula clues her in.

There are several scenes that showcase the differences between Frankie and Santa, beginning with their prologues that highlight how diverse their backgrounds are, and continuing with several food scenes including one that has Santa tasting caviar for the first time (too funny) and culminating in the two of them in New York City at the Plaza Hotel.

The sentence structure, awkward on occasion, suggests that the writer may have been hurried. It does not overwhelm the story and it is not overt; I think that’s because Ms. Bowerman is a good writer with a style that is easy to read.

There are times when it is difficult to figure out who is speaking. I like that the characters’ dialogues read like actual conversations. However, when actions of someone other than the speaker are included in a dialogue, it can get confusing. In this example, Santa and Frankie are talking (Frankie is the narrator):
“’You’re going to take shots of wine?’ I bit my lip and shook my head as I watched Santa pour just a little wine in the glass.” Sounds like Frankie is speaking followed by some exposition, does it not? She isn’t. The words, “You’re going to take shots of wine?” are spoken by Santa, not Frankie. It takes a moment of reflection to figure this out. It causes the reader to pause and leave the story, and that’s distracting.

This book is a fun ride (in old Disneyland parlance, it’s an E-ticket ride). The story is different from others in this series. It is much more about the characters and less about plot. It works, though. It was a nice respite from all the goings on in human trafficking and drugs, although there is enough criminal activity to move the plot along in a way that will definitely satisfy the finickiest of readers.

I am particularly appreciative of the superb editing and proofreading that was done. Except for some confusing moments regarding who was talking with whom, it was practically error-free: Wowzers! My internal editor, who unfortunately never sleeps, was soothed while reading the book and was cheering and jumping up and down with excitement at the book’s end.

I rated this book 4-stars because it was so much fun to read. I meant to savor it but gobbled it up with no restraint whatsoever. I can scarcely wait for the next book in this hugely entertaining series.

Sidebar:
Sure wish I knew where Tenillo, Texas is. I live in the DFW metroplex and it could still take me more than a day to drive to Tenillo, depending on where it’s located; I’d pack a lunch and go there any time. Wonder if I could suggest it as a visit for the Texas Daytripper? Huh. Probably not. Oh well, it appears that only the pure in heart can get there from here, or anywhere. So, I’ll have to be content with my sightseeing whenever a new book in this crossover series is created. That’ll do. It will have to.

This is the 13th book in the Tenillo Guardians series (but the 7th book about the Time Served MC). While it is a standalone, I truly believe that reading the previous books 1-12 in the series will enhance your enjoyment of this book. This book is about Santa (aka Christopher Miller) of the Time Served MC and Frankie (aka Francesca Romano). Santa and Frankie are as different as night and day but are trying to fight their attraction to each other. That and throw in 1 crazy ex-girlfriend and the story starts to unfold. This book has it all it has laughs, a few answers and new questions and is a great example of an opposites attract love story.

Cee writes stories of wonderfully strong women who meet and fall for strong, protective alpha males and this one is no exception. I really would love to be part of this girl tribe (aka the Crazy Coven). This series is a bit darker than her other series but I loved it.

A few more clues as to what is going on in the not-so-sleepy town of Tenillo, Texas but we will need to read more stories to get all the answers. I can’t wait for all the rest of the stories and if I could; I’d live in Tenillo, TX.

The series will alternate between the Time Served MC (by Cee Bowerman) and the Ares Infidels MC (written by Ciara St James).

Santa has been interested in Frankie since they met. He has tried to gain her interest but it isn't until he is hiding what's going on with him from the MC that he finds himself getting closer to Frankie. Frankie wants Santa but she doesn't want to take the chance because if it did not work out she could end up losing her girlfriends, particularly Blue who is Santa's twin. Santa though has other ideas, he knows they are different Frankie is cultured and put together, Santa is a hard worker and a bit of a mess when it comes to cleaning. Santa comes up with a plan to capture her heart, will he succeed though?

Entertaining read. Santa was different then I expected and Frankie who usually comes off as strong was a bit indecisive on what to do about Santa. You understood why Frankie was hesitant but I thought her and Santa, although opposites, were a perfect match.

Without giving any spoilers away. Santa’s book doesn’t disappoint. It keeps you laughing. I love how Cee incorporated two characters from completely different background. It was written flawlessly. Even though they have differences it didn’t hinder their relationship. It’s like Aladdin & Jasmine. Loved Santa relationship with his sister Blue, some of that was inserted in the book & it adds to the type of man Santa is. Look forward to the next book by Cee & the next book by Ciara St James. This book is part of a Collab. Each book can be read as a Standalone but best read as a whole (Tenillo Guardian TSMC & Tenillo Guardian AIMC)

Opposite attract

Who says oppsites do not attracr to each other are fools. Santa ex con, hard child hood, Frankie rich mafia princess and doctor, both with difficult childhoods and tradgey. Santa new Frankie was it for him, but Frankie was resisting because she did not want to loss the friendshit she built with his sister Blue and rest of The covent.
But Santa proves her wrong when he makes up a bullshit story about his new house and her friends make her see he is the one.
Once again we are dealing with a physco, murder and drug and tbe boys are working the cases. There were times in this book I could not stop laughing especial when Blue... Nope got to read .

Finally Santa and Frankie's story😊

Opposites in a lot of ways, except they are loyal to their families blood or otherwise. The twists in this story kept me wanting more. Frankie and Santa are so good together, he pushed her buttons not know what he'd done. He is a quick learner. Frankie let's him in finally. Santa is so good to Frankie she couldn't help but to let her guard down and admit to her feelings then love. So much laughter when the crazy coven gets involved. Boss has his hands full with his group of men who act like children. As always Cee doesn't disappoint she comes through every time.

I always liked the little peeks of Santa, he seemed playful yet sweet; it was nice to see more of that in this book.
I liked Frankie in this book too, she fit in perfectly with the Crazy Coven before but this sealed the deal.
I really wish there would have been more of an explanation on her backstory then just a gloss over of what happened.
The next book I am hoping for more of the main plot to move along.. I feel like it's being drawn out unnecessarily. Also... when did Jon Bentley kill himself? Why was that just popped in conversation like we weren't all thinking he was into something shady?

I will be reading the next one...

Santa & Frankie

This is the funniest book I’ve read in a long time! I laughed out loud more times than I can count. I love the men and women of the Time Served MC. They work hard and love hard and they definitely laugh hard. Together. Just the guys. Just the ladies. Everywhere they go, they find the humor.

Santa and Frankie are a shining example of opposites attracting. And I loved every moment of their journey. I look forward to visiting them in future Time Served MC books.

And Cee Bowerman has a brand new series planned!! Woo hoo! I am absolutely thrilled!

Oh Santa Baby!!!

Once again Cee hit it out of the park. I think every book is my favorite until I read the next book then it's my favorite. Let's just say I'll be Mrs. Clause any time!! Santa and Frankie were perfect for each other they might have been completely different but that's what made them perfect for each other they were able to give the other something they'd never had before. Once again anything Cee Bowerman is a must read absolutely one of my all time favorite authors!!

This is a wild ride. Opposites really do attract, as Santa and Frankie find out. Frankie, from an organized crime family, is an accomplished surgeon, while Santa is an ex-con who grew up with a negligent addict as his only parent. He never believed he was good enough for her, and she is afraid that her standing in the crazy coven would be ruined if they broke up. Meanwhile, the police are trying to discover the source of some bad drugs, as well as some suspicious deaths that may not be suicides. Throw in a very psychotic stalker and there's a ride here.

Frankie and Santa

Every time you read one of Cee Bowermans books , you think , how on earth can she top this? Well, she does. I LOVE everything that she has written. She is in my re read category, because I read and re read every one of her books! THEY ARE THAT GOOD.
Santa is hilarious, and Frankie is uptight , but together they balance each other out. Start at the beginning with Boss and read both Time Served and Ares Infidels, MC. It hits all the buttons. Funny, mystery, Romance, Alpha Males, Smart capable women. The Coven is one of the best parts.

omg she’s done it again!!

Cee Bowerman has done it AGAIN!!
I absolutely loved this book. The repartee between Santa and Frankie was so spot on I felt like I was right there with them ( like watching a tennis match), when he tried to pull one over on her with all of the plumbing and construction stuff I laughed myself silly and just about peed myself laughing so hard at the waxing scene.

This entire series by Cee Bowerman AND Ciara St. James ( Ares Infidels) is a MUST READ!! You definitely won’t be disappointed!

Can’t wait for the next one!

Santa has a present for you

Senta!!! Aka Christopher is so endearing in this book. Which is strange to say about a big lug of a biker. But he has a soft spot and it’s franks. Frankie. Francesca Romano. She’s a doctor. Also a mafia princess who left NY to settle in Tenillo. This decision really did work out well for her! She found a great group of friends and the love of her life. He teases her and he does it so well. I couldn’t figure out what his nickname for her ment, thankfully Paula filled me in MINCE.
I’ like to thank the author for the many many laughs.

Great!

I choose this rating because this was actually a pretty great book. I really enjoyed it all of the characters. Will most all of the characters. This was a book of compassion, kindness, protection, patience and also falling in love and realized that you're in love and ready to take that plunge. I enjoyed Santa and Francesca story. I think they made a very interesting and intriguing couple. I think the author didn't amazing job with putting these two characters together. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers and MC lovers.

Big city meets country

Santa, raised by his country grandmother with his sister after being rescued by the system after being caught stealing as part of a racket ran by his mother. Frankie, short for Francesca, who left the Italian Mafia nest as an adult when she refused an arranged marriage, and was aware what staying close to her beloved family could be like as she was there on her 5th birthday when her mom was gunned down. Big city Mafia daughter and country ex con - opposites do attract.

Good Read

This is a book of opposites attract and I don’t think anyone could be more different than Frankie and Santa. I throughly enjoyed Frankie and Santa’s story, it was actually quite a sweet story overall with some possible hints added in as to what could be going on in the shadier sides of town. As always, it was filled with humour and had me laughing throughout, especially when the crazy coven got together. Overall, this was another brilliant book that I’d recommend reading.

AWESOME!

I loved everything about this book! There were scenes in this book that had me laughing so hard my ribs hurt! But also serious stuff, too. Loved the differences in Frankie and Santa’s personalities. Another great read in a series I love. I have read every book Cee Bowerman has written and I highly recommend all of them.
I would advise reading the series from the start to get all the joy feels!

Wonderful

Sweet, loving, very funny, and engaging. Are just a few words I would use to describe this book. You feel as if you are standing right next to very well rounded characters. Who have built relationships that are so much more than friends. Cee Bowerman never fail to entertain and pull you into the world she builds in her books 📚. Santa is a wonderful example of that.

A fantastic story and series

I never realized how much I didn't know about Frankie and Christopher (aka Santa) until I started reading this book. They're as different as night and day, it's the explosive attraction between them that brings them together, but will it be enough for forever? This is certainly a story that you won't want to miss! I can't wait for more of this awesome series!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.

Amore!

Ever read an author who writes so good that once you have finished their latest release, you really, really want the next one like, NOW!?! Cee has done it again with Santa and Frankie. Laughs galore. Seriously steamy sexy times. Psycho b****h on the loose adds to the drama of what's going on in the town. Highly recommend any of Cee's books. Just be aware, you will get grabby hands wanting more.

Absolutely Fabulous !!

I really, really, enjoyed this book and managed to ignore most things (apart from the dogs needing out !) and spoil myself by devoting an entire afternoon to this great read.
So many passages had me reacting and avidly rereading to enjoy them again and several of these episodes required tissues, 'cos I laughed so long and hard !
A Stonker of a book I heartily recommend .
Thank you Cee Bowerman x

Quick and easy. The crazy coven are always a good read.

Didn’t really feel the mix passion between these two but they were funny nonetheless with their upper class v laid back backgrounds.

Only a snip of the storyline here: it circled back to the cars being torn apart from earlier books. And possible drugs being stored when Frankie’s car was ripped apart. Otherwise the story really was just about Santa and Frankie.

Santa

I love that Christopher and Frankie found their happily ever after. Often opposites do attract as is proven in this book. We are also led one step closer to the mysteries that plague Tenillo, Texas. Once again Time Served and the Crazy Coven come through. I love this series and would recommend author Cee Bowerman to any reader. Thank you for sharing your stories.

Santa's love

I have been waiting for this story for awhile and Ms Bowerman didn't disappoint. Santa and Frankie were perfect for each other. The coven of girls made the book funnier along with Blue using him as a test subject. I just love how she uses the guys and them reading romance novels and then discussing them with each other. I have loved every book in this series.

Finally Frankie and Santa

I like both Frankie and Santa even more now. They were interesting before but now even more so. Frankie is as tough as she seems too. She has a soft spot for Santa. A situation puts them stuck together so now nothing will ever be the same again. I wish the MCs would make some more progress on the over arching story of the series.
