This is a good introduction to eco-friendly gardening. It’s based around the Zones in Canada, so it will be a good book for people living in the US border states.

This book contains beautiful photos that are reminiscent of gardening books from the 1970’s.

Give this one a go.

Oh que j’ai adooooooré ma lecture ! Je l’ai reçu à ma fête et depuis, je le lis ici et là quand l’envie m’y prend. Aujourd’hui, j’ai lu la toute dernière page et je ne le rangerai pas tout de suite car je sais très bien que je le relirai bientôt. Une tonne de trucs pour s’initier au jardinage écologique. J’ai adoré les photographies qui donnent vraiment le ton au livre. Grâce à elles, j’ai semé un espace sauvage dans ma cour et j’ai commencé à récolter des fleurs pour me faire des bouquets. Bref, un vrai coup de cœur, tant pour les conseils aux plantes extérieures, au potager qu’aux plantes intérieures.

A lovely little book out of Quebec. I’ve learned new things about caring for plants, and have found inspiration and motivation. Borrowed this from the library, but would make a great reference for the home. Love the photography!
