This is the second book in the Ricci Crime Family series and should be read in order. Raine and Alessio’s story continues. Raine is falling for Alessio but she also has a secret that could destroy everything and probably get her killed. Will she reveal the truth? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and sizzling scenes. The chemistry is intense and the story entertaining, looking forward to more.

I couldn’t get through this one. The characters are so bland, boring, and forgettable. Other than being attractive and having $exual chemistry, there’s literally nothing to them. And the heroine, Raine? An absolute idiot and doormat. She has no mind of her own. She does whatever anyone tells her to do. I won’t be reading the next book.

Really?
3.5 stars…only because I’m invested now. There’s a lot of extra scenes that don’t really matter making the books longer than they need to be. I still don’t know where it’s going. Yes, they’re in love. But again, being “a rat” is something you don’t come back from . I really don’t know how the author can redeem the heroine. A duet would have been more appropriate. We shall see….

3.0 I really like this author but didn't enjoy this trilogy as much as I had hoped. It was just okay with characters that at times were annoying. Book 2 of this duet felt like "read and repeat" in so many aspects that were established in book 1. I felt as though it was boring at times and full of "tedious filler" dialogue instead of actual story content. Raine's character felt "whiney" as well as "poor me, ain't it awful" because she was caught between Alessio and a very questionable Agent Carter. But ohhh.... when it came to sex with Alessio, all bets were off. She immediately threw away any bargaining power she may have had by sleeping with him immediately and continuing to sleep with him throughout all three novels. She was the daughter of a cop and yet she never thought to check out Agent Carter's credentials or confess to Alessio her circumstances right away.....instead she just continued to pile lie upon lie. Of course had she confessed to Alessio that she was being forced against her will to work with Carter, there wouldn't have been a need for three books.
Some reviewers tried to spin this as a love story by book 2. Having read allot of underworld criminal genre, I saw them as nothing more than two people who was attracted to their sexual escapades, i.e., lust, kink and dirty sex. There was no discussion of love until the very end of book three. Alessio always skirted the issue never admitting to himself or Raine that he loved her. She definitely fell in love with him much sooner than he did with her. Book two ends with everything still consumed in lies with more traitors coming to light.

Book 2 of the Ricci Crime Family series, Darkness Savage picks up right at the cliffhanger from book 1. Raine is still struggling with her feelings for Alessio. She is the daughter of a cop and being coerced into ratting on Alessio and family. Alessio is trying to understand these things he feels for Raine.
Book 2 unveils more about Alessio so we begin to see what shaped him into the man he is today. He is violent and makes no apologies about doing what he deems necessary. However somehow Raine is getting to him. He is denying it to everyone but we can see him changing. I like that it is a slow change(no matter how much I want him to realize what is in his heart) we see his actions and thoughts changing.
He has to be strong and ruthless for his family, especially with all of the spies. I kind of expected a stronger reaction when he found out Raine's connections to the police. What will he do when he finds out she is informing to them? Raine is also changing. She is beginning to see not everything is black and white.
The story packs a lot of info in this book to see the characters total personality. There is action and twists. What you think you know isn't necessarily the truth. The story held my attention and now I am waiting for the third part of the trilogy. Autumn Reign is doing a great job keeping me hanging on to see what happens next.

This is the 2nd book in the Ricci Crime Family series and it just keeps getting better. The relationship between Raine and Alessio goes from hot one minute to freezing the next. Raine is not afraid to stand up to Alessio and while she knows she shouldn’t get too close, the passion and chemistry between them is hot! Alessio cannot understand why he cannot let Raine go. He’s supposed to be the big, bad Don. But this Don might just be falling in love!
There is deception in the Ricci family. Secrets come out, more lies are told and this ends in a cliffhanger! I look forward to reading book 3 to see what becomes of the cluster this relationship has become!

Alessio and Raine's story continues. Raine is suppose to be spying on the crime family, but the more she learns about Alessio and who he is, she falls for him. Alessio goes from hot one to freezing and he is as confused as she is. Raine is not afraid to stand up to Alessio and he soon discovers her connection to the police. The characters are well written, the sizzle and steam are crazy hot, tons of action, twists and turns. Book 3 needs to get here soon. This book and the other 2 in this series are available to read for free with your Kindle Unlimited subscription.

Mr DeLuca’s men captured Raine on her way home. Alessio didn’t know where she was. He found DeLuca’s wife under an assumed mane in his hotel. DeLuca set up a meet at a neutral restaurant except it wasn’t neutral as Alessio discovered when DeLuca told his wife to go to her room. Alessio told Lorenzo to take Raine out to the car. When she got to the car the clothes she had been wearing when she was kidnapped along with her phone were on the floor. This book contain relationships, shootings and murder. I cannot wait to read the third book.

I loved this book. Steamy, Intense, Twists and Mafia men. From the first page it will have you hooked. It does end on a cliff. But it is worth the cliff. Each steamy scene and intense moment will have you glued to the book. Alessio is ruthless and brutal and all possessive alpha mafia male. Raine is sweet but fierce. The emotions and descriptions in every sentence made the book feel real. I loved this series and can't wait to see what happens next.

The second book in this series and we continue with Alessio and Raine’s story. Alessio is still keeping a close watch on Raine as danger lurks. This edge of your seat read has twists, suspense, and steamy hot scenes to keep you turning the pages. This story does end in a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

In the Ricci Crime Family series, Alessio’s and Raine’s story continues. This is a captivating mafia romance. The suspense surrounding her plight as a spy is killing me!! I’m so afraid of what’s going to happen when she gets caught, which is inevitable. I love the chemistry between them. There are triggers and a cliffhanger. I cannot wait to read Darkness Shattered. *this honest review is based on a complimentary copy*

Darkness Savage: A Dark Mafia Enemies to Lovers Romance (Ricci Crime Family Book 2 By Autumn Reign. Raine and Alessio story wow it’s unpredictable, unexplained the Relationship they have. Raine is there to spy on Alessio , although not by choice. Alessio is a ruthless Don he will kill anyone to protect the family . It’s a great story . I enjoyed it and recommend it…..

Good to great
Allessio and Raine. I enjoyed reading this story. It is book2. Everything is still in chaos. The characters, plot, and storyline were good. It has drama, suspense, sex, violence and so much more.
It has a cliffhanger, that I don't like.
