Really good for a free book. I Haven’t read it all, went straight to ideas for a wooded area and walkways.

A concise, well-planned and structured approach to landscaping. In this book, landscaping is broken down to its core concept - the detailed principles mentioned in the book simplify the work you have to put in by explaining all the components you need to think about. The author draws upon his own landscaping experience and gently brings your attention to initial hiccups in the planning process which you can look out for and work around.
The author’s tone is friendly and light, yet informative. What I thoroughly enjoyed reading is the emphasis the author places on choosing elements which make sense to YOU as a person. Along with this, he draws your attention to the importance of sustainability and of choosing elements which reduce one’s impact on the environment.
Overall, an easy-to-read and very informative guide to landscaping. Kudos to the author for creating such an interesting and novel approach to landscaping.
