The Ancients is a very intense and violent prequel to the Tuatha Legends series. Vivid descriptions and a great storyline make this suspenseful read fast paced and engrossing. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book is the prequel (The Autatha Legend Story) leading up to the series (A Tuatha Legends) This is how it began. Very intense and adventurous.

This was a good fairly short story of the Tuatha people and their enemy, the Fomorians. It is set prior to other books by P.M. Gilbert re: the 4 young fighters as mentioned in their prophecy to aid the Tuatha to finally be victorious over the Fomorians.

Boring. The hero arc was totally predictable. The villain equally so.

I can only hope the series improves from here.
