I gotta give a big thank you to Kara Kendrick for an advanced copy of this book. It was much appreciated because I really enjoyed it!
To start, I loved Macy and Liam. Their banter was so cute and the chemistry was off the charts! 🥵🌶 Even though the whole thing was a little insta-lovey, the story was wonderful, super quick, and with just enough drama to keep things interesting. I also really loved the small town setting; it reminded me a lot of my own hometown! I could even incision these characters walking the streets that I grew up on.
After enjoying this so much, I think I’ll be adding Kara’s backlist to my TBR! Chasing After Forever drops 5/25 so keep your eyes out for it!

Chasing After Forever is the third book in Kara Kendrick’s Peachtree Grove Series. This book is an interconnected standalone, told in dual POV and is Liam and Macy’s story.
I absolutely adore this series. I have said it before and it still holds true - the Peachtree Grove series has Hallmark movie sweetness and Lifetime Movie plot twists. Kara writes such well rounded, relatable and likable characters. Liam is the cousin to the previous two male main characters in this series and let me tell you the McCauliffe men are all kinds of yummy alpharoll. Liam is this tech billionaire but he isn’t the cliche pretentious type, he’s sweet and a little bit nerdy. I liked that Macy was the gun shy one because usually it’s the guy that won’t commit , so seeing her be wary and watching Liam go all out was fun to watch. Macy is a great character, I would love to have her as a real life friend. She’s sassy and funny and a bit awkward and that makes her lovable. She is fiercely loyal and loves whole heartedly. The chemistry between Liam and Macy is hot, they click so well together and you can tell they are really meant to to be. The plot twist was not on my radar at all but I thought it worked really well in the story. It really plays off of Macy’s fears and it shows character growth for both Liam and Macy. Great read, I highly recommend Chasing After Forever and the whole Peachtree series. If you are looking for a steamy small town romance with a bit of angst and a whole lot of Cinderella Vibes this is the book for you!

Spoiler Alert . . . Liam and Macy are such a great couple. Macy has nothing and works two jobs to help support her sister and Liam is a tech billionaire. Liam lives in LA and Macy lives in Peachtree GA. Liam returns home to Peachtree to help out his extended family where he meets Macy. Macy never knew her father and has huge trust issues since her mom abandoned Macy and her sister when she was 17. Liam is only in Peachtree temporarily but after meeting Macy wants to have a life with her. Liam does talk Macy into going to LA for a benefit and there Liam has an ex show up who claims he is the father of her child. This is a problem that Liam must contend with and that has Macy wanting to back out of their relationship. This is a such well written love story. There is great character development and you really like the characters. You want them to trust each other and be together. Will they let the distance between them tear them apart. I absolutely loved this book. It is a really wonderful read full of great characters and very steamy.

If you're like me and regularly find yourself in the darker areas of romance land, then you'll know that you occasionally need some lighter reads to cleanse the literary pallate.
This is my second Peachtree Grove novel. It was nice seeing characters from the previous one I read. This is a small town, insta love, billionaire novel with a small touch of OWD. I enjoyed the story and the HEA was a nice touch.
If you enjoy small town romances with plenty of steam that will leave you smiling by the end, I would recommend this book (and series!)

What a fun small town romance. This book packed in so many of my favorite tropes. It has a little bit of everything I love. Liam is the kind of man you hope to find and Macy is just the kind of friend you have from back home. These two come from different worlds but that's what makes them work. This was a fast read and I loved going back to Peachtree Grove.

Chasing After Forever by Kara Kendrick is book 3 Peachtree Grove Series. I read this as a standalone, but the series is interconnected.
This is Liam and Macy’s story.
There was sweetness to this story. I have read a few other books by Kara and they are very engaging stories. Her characters are very likeable.
Liam is a tech billionaire returning home after his uncle has had a health scare. He is home temporary to help out until his uncle is on the mend. Liam is nerdy and sweet.
Macy was the gun shy. She is not looking for anything serious. Macy is sassy and funny but also a bit awkward. She is fiercely loyal and loves big.
There is so much chemistry between Liam and Macy. There was a bit of a plot twist I did not see coming. It worked well with the story. This story has some big insta-love feels. This was a quick red and just enough drama to keep the story moving forward.
If you are looking for a small town romance that is quick with some Cinderella vibes this might be just the thing for you to read.

Macy is a hard working bartender in a small town who doesn't find herself with much free time to actually date, but she's also sure that there's no Prince Charming coming to her neck of the woods for her, however, she would be wrong. Sexy tech billionaire Liam has come home to help out family when he comes face to face with Macy, and he's absolutely gone for her so he's not going to beat around the bush, he's going to make her his. Now Liam may be a billionaire who lives in LA, but this man is absolutely perfect as she's not only sexy, but sweet with a kicker of nerdy thrown in for good measure. The new journey for these two gets going quickly but it's not long before Liam's past rears it's ugly head which will shake things up. I LOVED this story so much, and certainly couldn't get enough of it all because I was in love with these two people from the jump, and the little plot twist added in some chaos without being over the top. So yeah, you don't want to pass this awesome story up as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Macy & Liam’s story had me swooning. What’s not to love about a hot, quirky, computer nerd who showers his love interest with all the sweet displays of affection AND knows how to treat a woman behind closed doors? 😉🔥
Once again, I loved immersing myself in all the small-town romance of Peachtree Grove. Kara really brings these characters to life & sucks the reader right into all the drama, excitement, heart wrenching, and happily ever after moments. Can’t wait to visit Peachtree Grove again in the 4th book! I’m very much looking forward to reading story of who I *think* will be the next couple to find love 💕

I’m not usually swoony over a billionaire romance. Many times these make characters come across as super arrogant and down right condescending but NOT Liam. This man was the perfect cinnamon roll and he knew exactly what he wanted from the moment he met Macy and he made it work. I loved them together and I really enjoyed this book and series!

This was absolutely beautiful small town love story . Liam and Macy are two opposites, a billionaire and a hard working woman who tries to help her sister. Working two shifts and never have time to date. But as soon as they met the chemistry between them was of the charts.
This was a perfect combo of drama, with great story line and loads of passion and steamy scenes.

Chasing After Forever is the first book I have read of Kara Kendrick's and I am so glad that we connected as I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Liam and Macy. Kara gives us a sweet yet spicy, opposites attract romance that will have your attention right from the start. Liam and Macy's story is one that's relatable and believable. Yes, it is an insta-love story but don't people find their HEA when they first meet? Isn't the saying true about love at first sight? Well, Liam and Macy are just that, opposites and instantly attracted to one another. The chemistry was hot, and the banter between them was fantastic.
Macy is a strong woman who works her butt off just to make a living. She has never travelled outside of her hometown and has never had anyone treat her like a princess. Well, that all changed when Liam comes back to town to help his family run their store. Liam is a hot and sexy tech billionaire who has a life back in California and is only staying for a while until his uncle recovers. As Macy and Liam spend time together the sparks ignite and before you know it there is a fire that nobody can put out, or can they? Lian is jetting Macy off to a gala that his company throws and dressing her in beautiful clothes and jewelry. Macy is treated like the princess Liam sees her as. Will the dream bubble break and hearts shatter? Will Macy and Liam survive the twist that is thrown at them?
I loved Macy's character and she would be a great friend to have on your side. Her demeanour was that of someone who is loyal, trusting funny and a sassy woman that you can't but love her. After coming back to his hometown after a family emergency he’s out at the one bar with his cousins and sees a woman that catches him off guard. He can’t tear his eyes away from her. As the days go on, he’s helped her when needed but also genuinely enjoyed her company. They fall into an easy relationship. He needs to get back to Cali and wants her to join. They enjoy paradise together for a short time. Until they are faced with their first bump in the road that they might not get over.
Macy is working her tail off and has been since she was 17. Supporting herself and her sister she’s working 2 jobs and barely has time to breath. When she sees the new guy in town for the first time, everything around her drifts away. They spend time together and she is blown away by how genuine and caring he is. She’s putting him on a high pedestal that she knows can easily shatter. Can she let herself believe that he will stick around or are prior engagements marking him leave too?
This book was cute. Liam didn’t flaunt the fact that he had money and I loved that he didn’t act like a snob. This book was spicy this (loved that) but it was hard for sometimes since my sons name is Liam (always a problem with me in books) but otherwise really enjoyed him and the relationships he had with friends and family. I’m not sure how I felt about Macy. She was definitely strong in the crap hand she got dealt in life, but she was making it by. She was a little too hot and cold for me, but I warmed up to her. Definitely a cute insta lust and love book with a great family to boot. You like small town love, this is for you.

I was given this book as an ARC by the author to review.
Wow! This third book in this series didn’t disappoint me at all. Immediately I was thrown into a call everyone dreads. That a close family member has a heart attack. The uncle you always considered a father because yours died when you were young. Heart disease runs rampant in my family so I immediately fell for Liam. He lives on the other side of the country and the guilt is real. I also left my family and moved 800 miles away. Guys, I can tell you the guilt is REAL. He grabs the first plane out and flies to Georgia to help with the family business.
Macy is the bartender at the local bar. She has trust issues that run so deep they are etched in her soul. Again, I can relate because if the one man who is supposed to love you unconditionally, your father, abandons you or only will love you with conditions, how can you trust a man or anyone not to do the same. Again, I felt Macy’s pain from my own experience.
I loved watching how Liam slowly broke down Macy’s walls around her heart. He loves her unconditionally and that is new for her because both her parents abandoned her. That isn’t something you forget. That takes a lot of work to overcome and the only one who can do it is Macy. When she goes to L.A. with him and pulls away from him because she doesn’t fit in with his lifestyle, it reminded me of how I didn’t fit in with my own family.
Macy and Liam get their HEA and how he does it is epic! Grab this book. It can be read as a standalone, but the entire series is awesome and worth reading.

If you love small town, billionaire, instalove romance that will give you all the good feelings then, this book is for you! I loved going back to Peachtree Grove and getting Liam and Macy's romance!
Liam is back in the small town of Peachtree Grove to help out his cousins with their dad, "Pops" who suffered a heart attack and needs help with their general store. Liam is a tech billionaire and he comes back home to help out his family. He meets Macy at the local bar where she bartends.
Their attraction to each other was amazing and they had plenty of steamy moments. I loved their banter with each other. These two come from different worlds but find a loving relationship that ends in a HEA. They do run into obstacles but their willingness to work through them makes them stronger.

I'm a sucker for a good "good guy" romance, and this certainly is one! This was the first book I've read in this series, and it works perfectly well as a standalone. Liam is a wonderfully dreamy hero (I can't stand cocky alphas, alphaholes, or bad boys, so I was all about this guy...) Macy is a strong, independent heroine, which I also love. She's been hurt in the past, which makes it hard for her to trust anyone. I've seen the "afraid to love because I've been hurt/abandoned" done before, but rarely is it done as well as this book. With other similar stories, I've found myself rolling my eyes as the heroine contemplates leaving the perfect guy for no real reason. Here, we feel Macy's pain and understand her struggles. I also appreciated the way this book didn't promote the "all small town folk are great and big city people are evil" stereotype. This book was a refreshing read all over. Low on angst, high on heart, I highly recommend Chasing After Forever!

Liam a Billionaire tech app guru comes back to his home town when his uncle is sick and meets bar maid, Macy.
These two are so sweet and just wonderful characters. Their chemistry was envious and their story was just compelling. I loved how Macy had Liam treading carefully but as time goes on her walls come down.
This story was well written, the characters were all important to the story line and added more focus. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and although it's a first from this author, it won't be my last of her books. That's for sure.

I think this author's "thing" is ex-drama, third book in the series third book with ex-drama. MFC has trust issues stemming from her mom leaving her at 17 with her younger sister to raise (apparently small towns don't have child protective services?). MMC is a tech guy who made a bunch of money on a dating app. Came to help out after his Uncle had a heart attack to run the general store despite his Uncle's two sons living in town, but anyway. He falls for her immediately, she's not completely on board but gets there then of course, EX-DRAMA. Steamy story, but honestly a bit disappointing.

This book was nothing short of fabulous!! I loved all of the characters. Liam is a creator of apps who lives in LA, California. A family emergency brings him home. There he meets Macy. Macy works 2 jobs and barely makes ends meet. Liam and Macy feel the chemistry between them. Macy has some serious trust issues.
Liam finally breaks through Macy’s walls. The steam between was amazing. Unfortunately, it does not take long for Liam to hurt Macy. So much happens to both Liam and Macy. Can their love preserve??

Chasing After Forever is the third installment of author Kara Kendrick's Peachtree Grove series. Tech billionaire Liam is one of those guys that are just to good to be true. He falls for Macy, a hardworking woman that raised her sister when their mom walked out. A sweet small town romance revolving around family dynamics that can sometimes change the course of your life. If you enjoy HEA's with their very own prince charming, this read is definitely for you.

This was my first book by Kara Kendrick and as soon as I finished, I was adding her other books to my TBR. This book hit all the sweet spots: a small town that's as much of a character as the actual characters, a strong heroine, a swoony hero, and plenty of angsty moments. I loved watching Liam and Macy come together and seeing Macy learn to trust. And the ferris wheel! All the swooning at that. If you love steamy small town romances, this is a great read!
