This book was full of revelations and surprises. Colleen, Ava's mother, was over-the-top and interesting but a difficult person for Ava to deal with. The self-analysis and self-talk continues so I will see what book #3 has to offer.

After reading the first book in this series, I pre-ordered this one. I was very impressed with the first book. The storyline and the characters really captured my imagination. I liked this second book but not as well as the first one. There are a lot of characters that you are introduced to in the first chapter. I had to keep referring back to that to follow the characters. It took me a little while to get into the storyline and then, to me, it was a little muddled. This book has a lot of the same characters as the first one and either could be a standalone book. I will probably read at least one more in the series to see how I feel but I don’t think I will preorder it. This is really a 3.5 star review but I rounded up because of the first one.

I loved the first book in this series and this book did not disappoint either.
After Ava successfully opened the Inn more was to happen in her life. Her Mum, having suffered a bereavement which she nor her Sister knew about, comes to stay for a while, and during her stay some secrets are revealed. Will these break their already fractured relationship or make it stronger?
Quinn receives a surprise visitor, someone she never thought she'd see again, one which upends her life completely.
A captivating series, the books need to be read in order of publication to preserve continuity of the characters and series.
If you like Nora Robert's and Debbie Macomber books, then I think you'll like this author.

The author provided a great deal of description and explanation which helped the reader get in the story. The plot was engaging and very captivating. Could not put it down!

nice easy entertaining read
I enjoyed following the characters from book 1. For an easy read, this book was perfect and I was glad there were conclusions rather than leaving you hanging.

Sconset Beach two
This book read liked an Elin Hinderbrand book and that’s a very high compliment. I loved the characters and the author developed them throughout the story. The ending was not hurried but very satisfying. I was very happy with this read.

I like a good surprise and wow.! Lots reveal In book 2 and family issues get resolved , that's all I can say without giving anything away. Wonderful characters that I've come to know and enjoy. Hope you grab your copy and enjoy.

Did not see it coming that James was her dad. I find it hard to be caught off guard with stuff in books sometimes, so it was a nice surprise for me.

Fun and exciting

Heartfelt
Book 2 was a rollercoaster of emotion. I think I teared up a few times. Where book one was Ava and Sarah's story mostly this one was more a mother daughter tale.

Book two in the Sconset Beach series and another light, joyous beach read revolving around a wonderful group of ladies and their families. Looking forward to book 3.

This book was excellent! I read in a couple sittings. I am excited to continue the series. I didn’t know until the end there was a series, good thing I’m retired. I can’t wait to see how the characters evolve. I recommend this book to anyone who needs or wants a good beach read or in my case a dockside read.
