English name: Accidental Love

I thought this book was just okay but not amazing. I expected more from the summary, so I was a bit disappointed. It follows the story of our FL, Zheng Shuyi, as she embarks on a journey of revenge on her ex by trying to flirt and get together with who she thinks is the uncle of the girl her ex cheated on her with. The uncle's name is Shi Yan, and he's a respected and successful businessman. Even though he's the "uncle", he's only a couple years older than the FL so the age difference isn't too big.

I didn't like the FL's shameless flirting at all. It was way too over the top. I also didn't like how she freaks out at the smallest thing. I have no idea how the ML ever fell for her with all of her poor acting and cheesy lines. For example, here are some of the texts they exchanged, which make me seriously cringe:

Zheng Shuyi: Then you already like 70% of me.

Also, given the fact that they're both adults and at least our FL has had a boyfriend for many years already, the romance moves surprisingly slow. Even after it's obvious that the ML likes her, they don't exchange as much of a kiss for a while. It was a bit frustrating to read because of the slower pace.

I know they just made a drama based on this book called Only for Love, so maybe I'll give it a try to see Bai Lu and Dylan play these roles, but if they follow the story faithfully at all, I don't think I'll like it that much.

Me interessei por esse livro por causa do lançamento da adaptação com a Bai Lu e o Dylan Wang.

O plot consciente na protagonista Zheng Shuyi que é traída pelo namorado com uma garota mais nova e mais rica, ela descobre que essa garota tem um tio alguns anos mais velho, Shi Yan, que é diretor de um banco. Então ela resolve "se vingar" da traição, planejando conquistar esse tio pra que assim ela fique "acima" do ex e da nova namorada (na cultura chinesa os mais novos tem que prestar respeito aos mais velhos, então a intenção da Zheng Shuyi é ser a nova tia e esperar pelo momento em que o casal tenha que pedir a "bênção" dela).

A Zeng Yui é uma jornalista do mercado financeiro e já tinha um projeto de entrevistar o Shi Yan, então resolve juntar uma coisa com a outra.

Apesar de ter muitas cenas de vergonha alheia no começo durante essa fase da "conquista" (ela se mete em muitas situações malucas e ele obviamente percebe que ela tem um motivo oculto), acho que a principal qualidade desse livro é que o relacionamento deles tem uma boa construção, e o que parece não fazer muito sentido no começo, acaba tendo uma justificativa ao longo da história. Gostei também que algumas coisas não foram muito óbvias, como por exemplo, toda a situação da sobrinha, do ex etc, que tem uma resolução diferente do que eu imaginava.

No final é um livro de comédia romântica bem padrão mas divertido, e mesmo tendo situações malucas, não insulta sua inteligência. Além de que o relacionamento não é forçado e tem boas sacadas.

Truyện đọc giải trí khá vui, nhiều đoạn hài hước, nhất là mẹ của nữ 9 (Vương Mỹ Như).

Nữ 9 Trịnh Thư Ý xinh đẹp, thông minh, tài năng nhưng cũng có chút đơn thuần, chậm nhiệt trong tình cảm. Khi chưa chính thức thích nhau, đang cưa theo âm mưu thì quấn lấy người ta không màng thể diện. Khi đã biết bị nhầm thì lại run rẩy, thiếu tự tin, lo được lo mất. Tuy vậy diễn biến tâm lý vẫn khá hợp lý.

Nam 9 Thời Yến đẹp trai, giỏi giang, giàu sụ, gia thế hiển hách, lại còn có bà chị là ca sĩ nổi tiếng, idol của nữ 9. Hào quang nam 9 quá dữ, cái gì cũng xịn cũng đẹp. Ấy vậy nhưng vì yêu mà cưng chiều sủng ái nữ 9 đến vô lý.

Vì hào quang nam 9-nữ 9 nên truyện bị giảm chân thực, cũng k có cao trào gút thắt gì cả, thuần giải trí.

一個月之後配合廣播劇(雖然至今還未連載完)重閱, 加上看到很多《以愛為營》的開鏡花絮, 竟然更喜歡這故事!
原本"應該"對鄭書意的作天作地反感、又或對時宴的冷淡毒舌戥書意肉緊/不值, 但是重讀之下給我發掘到他倆性格的可愛處, 就也覺得一切都合理和完滿了。
最後的數個章節--大結局加上兩個番外--簡直是甜炸, 亦令本讀者心情愉快。
現在只希望劇集不要魔改原著…阿門。

最初對<錯撩>的注意, 來自一則未經證實的娛樂新聞: 有人買了這個現代背景故事的版權並鎖定白鹿當女主角; 然後是男主角也選定了因《蒼蘭訣》火紅的王鶴棣。令我不得不扒一扒這個有個有趣名字的故事(雖然據說現在劇名已改為《以愛為營》)…不得了, 還是我喜歡的復仇梗哩。於是就找來一讀, 同時做做腦補, 亦對未來的劇作個初步期望管理。
此30萬字的小說, 算是一般長度(比較: 亦舒<玫瑰的故事>大概28.5萬)。老實說, 我也有超過廿年沒認真讀 (meaning "finished") 中文小說了。花上兩天才讀完也算是對自己有"交代" (哈)了!
作者翹搖是90後的(老)青年, 筆觸自然不同於我以前鍾愛的小說(女)作家, 故不好直接比較誰文字功底强大些之類。而且我也無資格評價--這篇只是個讀後感罷。不過個人覺得: 她頗有李碧華和亦舒的風格--這可未必是恭維說辭啊, 因閱讀喜惡絕對是咸魚青菜。另外, 不知是否 "lost in conversion" (簡體轉繁體), 原文頗多別字。例: "隻" 其實是 "只"、"系" 其實是 "係"、"鬆" 變 "松"、"髮" 變 "發"、"褪色" 寫成 "退色"、"佈置" 寫作 "布置"、"眼珠" 竟是 "眼楮" 等等, 等等…不勝枚舉, 嚴重窒礙了我的閱讀節奏。
先談談女主。鄭書意(好名!)的出發點確實是報復她的"渣"前男友, 目標人物是男主時宴。她誤以為時宴是撬牆腳女的小舅舅, 心想只要成為"小舅媽"就可解氣並懲罰這對機心男女。當然書意是"撩"錯了人, 而這錯摸操作的最有趣之處卻在於書意本不是一個嗲精(雖然她絕對有條件), 但為了"撩"得男主上勾要做出許多"作"的行徑(相信她都幾 desperate!) 而時宴最初真是超冷淡的, 連我都有點不忍心書意的單向熱情, 戥她尷尬。跟着的情節不難猜到: 時宴被"感動"真的跟書意拍拖; 未幾她發現原來小舅舅另有其人, 報復出了個大頭佛; 最後就當然男女主冰釋前嫌, 喜劇收場。雖然作者有不少篇幅展示到書意在工作上的幹練成熟, 但當她跟時宴相處時卻好像換了個人似的在"演"(這可是時宴的字眼); 而這作態卻是貫徹始終--即使時宴已墮網。 This duplicity really brought me out of the story more than a few times, as I couldn't reconcile the two sides of 書意。Maybe because of her beauty, she has always been in the receiving end of affection in a relationship (從來不用追人) thus she resorted to this extreme course of action in order to get even with her ex (who pursued her relentlessly before)? 總之我覺得書意人設有點矛盾和 erratic. 但我對白鹿的演技有信心!
男主時宴在首二十來章沒有太多 PoV; 而因主導全在書意, 他只負責接招, 所以未太清楚他的取態。不過他應對作精書意時真的幾攪笑(相信這未必是他的原意)。後期總算瞭解多了他的性格和想法, 也覺得他完全掌握怎樣處理(handle)書意的"作"和"演"而又達到他想要的效果和目的。真是高手! 書意算是雖敗猶榮吧。但我覺得年輕的棣棣未必駕馭得到這角色內斂沉穩的性格(因不能一味扮 cool、只"木"着一張臉), 縱使他外型十分切合--但造型上還是需要成熟穩重些。
人物生動有趣, 情節輕鬆不虐, 這故事真的適合呈現在螢幕上。期待這齣包含俊男美女的甜寵劇。

Excellent novel. I started with the manhua, but then I got impatient and went to read the translated novel. I liked this one a lot. All of the characters had their moment to shine, and the progression of Shi Yan and Zheng Shuyi's relationship was silly and endearing. Unlike with other Chinese novels I read, I wasn't disappointed in the ending and I wasn't too sad, either. I felt like it all wrapped up neatly with little more to say, though the final arc was rather rushed. I'd love extra chapters, but at the same time, I'm satisfied with what we got. Time for the c-drama version.

这小说很让人投入，有些搞笑。结尾却让人觉得 “就这样？”，因为故事似乎没什么大事发生，最大的事就是女主撩错人。番外应该在正文里，而不是番外，至少会让故事完结得比较完整。

“Aren’t you the catastrophe of my life?” Asked ML our MC and it’s so true that almost tragic.

Honestly, I don’t like this novel. This 2 starts are only for our tragic ML in this should-not-be-tragic story.

First of all, I thought that ML was quite likable and mature but as the story goes, it is more and more like he has unstable character. I mean he is behaving not in line with the character he had for so long. It looks mor e like he is here and there and doing strange things because we need to progress story and have a nice background for MC s*upid and illogical behavior. It’s disappointing.

I don’t see Josei or Mature here at all. It’s more like “lack of common sense” especially if we task about our MC. And the more story goes the word it become. After the biggest overly dramatic conflict of the novel, she started to behave so shameless and like a b@tch. I almost couldn’t take it. But I read it till the end because I also finish the story when started, especially this short.

The world and plot is boring mostly. Comedy is not so fun. And the drama is overly dramatic. I didn’t enjoy the story, but it’s, at the end of the day, only my opinion.

Do not recommend.
