About the author

L.J. Sealey was born and raised in a little Welsh town by the sea. It rains a lot, so she often has a great excuse to sit at her writing desk and while away the hours at her laptop.

She still lives in N.Wales and when she's not travelling around the country working with her husband - who is a professional singer - or singing backup vocals herself in her husband's band, she likes to read and watch her favourite TV shows which normally includes plenty of CSI, The Vampire Diaries and sitcoms.

“Paper Chains” by L.J. Sealey was an emotional rollercoaster. This books gets you hooked from the first page and takes you for a great ride.
Ryder is a cage fighter. He does this not only for the money but to keep the darkness away. Frankie is engaged to someone but isn’t happy. Ryder had this need to protect Frankie, even if he doesn’t know what he is protecting her from. Frankie is doing everything to protect those that she loves, and is hesitant to let Ryder in her life.
Their story will make you root for them, and wonder if love is really enough. Highly recommend.

I read the first book in the series and was interested to see how the sequel would go since we only had a bare glimpse of Ryder in that book.

While it felt a little slow to start you were soon off on an emotional rollercoaster. Both Ryder and Frankie have demons that are dealing with, can they fight them together or will their attraction to one another only make things worse? You'll find yourself hooked and reading to find out

The book is in British English but as an American I had no trouble following it.

Another brilliant book by the amazing author lins sealey it’s the 2nd instalment in the paper cuts trilogy
While they are all can be read separately I would start
with the first book I would recommend this series grab yourself a glass of wine or like me a cup of tea and some choccy biscuits sit back and lose yourself in the story it’s an easy 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️but lins sealey is a author that does not disappoint with anything she writes x x

I received a copy for an honest review.

This was my first by this author, and it was definitely an emotional rollercoaster. It was a slow burn, forbidden, love story. And it had all the angst you could want. Ryder and Frankie were fabulous together. And how they fight for each other. And the spice level, was fantastic. It was just the right amount once the two got there. And the epilogue.....😭 Enough said!!!

I read the first book in this series earlier this year and was excited to learn that there would be another two to follow, this being the second. I found this one more angsty and steamy. The plot was good and kept me reading.
I ended up hating the villain which is always a sign of a good writer. I am eagerly awaiting the next book.

Ryder and Frankie was an amazing story, Ryder a cage fighter has the need to protect Frankie while Frankie is engaged to someone she doesn't want to marry, I was rooting for these two from the very start. I highly recommend this series.
